Let it snow let it snow

If you want to take a day trip outside of Tokyo to experience nature, mountains, and most importantly some winter snow, Fukushima is the place to go! it usually does not snow in Tokyo but just an hour by bullet train, Fukushima is often covered in snow. I loved the trail running through the snow covered mountains. Shirakawa is also famous for its ramen, which is amazing after a long winter run.
