Life advice! Take your kids to Changbai Mountain to escape the heat in the high-temperature summer

Recently, there has been a nationwide high-temperature warning, making it impossible to take kids outdoors in Beijing. So, I immediately bought plane tickets and took the whole family directly to Changbai Mountain to experience the legendary 22-degree summer. After a few days, I found that off-season travel to Changbai Mountain is truly amazing! Here are some tips from my three-night summer trip to Changbai Mountain with kids: ☀️ Weather During the summer, the daytime temperature in Changbai Mountain is generally around 28-30 degrees, dry and not sticky. At night, it drops to around 20 degrees, which is a bit cool. For clothing, I recommend short sleeves, shorts, and sun-protective clothing during the day, and long pants and jackets at night. Also, make sure to protect yourself from the sun during the day and carry mosquito repellent spray. 🎡 Resort Area: We chose between Changbai Mountain Huamei Resort and Wanda Resort. Considering that we wanted our kids to have more engagement, we chose Huamei Resort, formerly known as Luneng Resort. After all, this resort is larger, has better scenery, and offers many activities for kids. 🏨 Accommodation: There are many hotels in Huamei Resort. We stayed at the Meilihui Hotel (soon to be renamed "Changbai Mountain Haolike Hotel"). The cost-performance ratio is excellent; you can stay in a suite for just 1000 yuan! Downstairs is a commercial street and Xingqibao Baby Park, making it the first choice for family trips. 🤡 Entertainment: ⭐️ Kuilu Farm 1️⃣ During the day, kids can feed deer and other animals at YOYO Deer Park, then jump on the cloud trampoline or climbing frame. Adults can enjoy a cup of coffee under the camping tent, feeling the cool 22-degree mountain breeze of Changbai Mountain. 2️⃣ Every night, there is an intangible cultural heritage iron flower performance and a bonfire party. The resort's E.P Happiness Vacation Assistant organizes dozens of people to sing, dance, and play games around the bonfire, creating a very lively atmosphere! ⭐️ No. 7 Exploration World 1️⃣ Jungle Adventure: Both adults and kids can participate. Under the protection of the E.P Happiness Vacation Assistant, little Yangmei successfully challenged three obstacles. 2️⃣ Real-life CS: I played a CS battle with other tourists. The water bullets provide a real shooting experience and are safe and fun! 3️⃣ UTV: This is definitely a must-try project in the park. We chose the ridge-crossing route, and the winding mountain road made little Yangmei very excited. ⭐️ Other Tested Projects: 1️⃣ Go-Kart Park: Surprisingly, there are double-seat parent-child go-karts here. Little Yangmei sat in the passenger seat and experienced the speed and excitement, shouting for more laps after finishing. 2️⃣ Forest Yoga: You can take a free shuttle bus to the "Forest Classroom" and do parent-child yoga with the instructor in the forest. 3️⃣ Xingqibao Baby Park: If your kids still have energy to burn, consider Xingqibao Baby Park, which is very conveniently located at the entrance of Meilihui Building A. 4️⃣ Mountain Culture: Highly recommend experiencing this with your kids. Follow the leader to learn how to identify and pick ginseng. This kind of intangible cultural heritage should be arranged for the kids. 🍲 Dining: There is a commercial street in Huamei Resort with many restaurants and shops. You can try some local specialty restaurants like Boxing Sheep Craft Beer Hall, Wula Manchu Hot Pot, and Zantunzi Guotai Fish. After experiencing it, I found that the summer in Changbai Mountain is full of surprises. With the continuous high-temperature warnings nationwide, I recommend everyone to come here for off-season travel!
