Penang Loh Mee

Loh Mee is a Malaysia staple that originated during the migratory waves of Hokkien people. Similar to most soupy noodle dishes out there, the main draw of loh mee is the broth which is a melange of soy sauce, starch, meat or crustacean stock and eggs. The thick and flavoursome broth is then ladled onto yellow noodles and topped with braised meats, eggs and sprinkle of fried scallions. For a dose of heat, chilli concoction is also provided.
