Göreme the fairy chimney, Cappadocia, Turkey

Göreme is a historic region and one of the top destinations for tourists in Turkey. It is a town in the region of Cappadocia that is famous for its rock formations that look like chimneys. You might know it for its iconic landscape with hot air balloons at dawn. But far from the crowded spots you will still find breathtaking sceneries. If you check out Cappadocia's history you will find out why houses and churches carved into the rocks had a crucial role since 1800 BC. It's possible to see them in several areas of the town.
