I fell in love with Hanoi the very first day I was there. Astounded by the sights, sounds and experiences. Visit Hoan Kiem Lake This is a pretty central feature of the city, and a great location to wander through if you want to get a good vibe of the place. There is also a temple - Ngoc Song Temple - on a small island at the center of the lake! Definitely a stunning background for photographers! Plus the streets surrounding the lake area are vibrant and great for catching a glimpse of local lifestyles. Take a food tour through Hanoi Old Quarter While a super fascinating area, what's more fascinating is the incredible range of food that you can try - all within walking distance.
