The Iconic Big Buddha in Hong Kong

Do you know how big is The Big Buddha statue in Hong Kong? The height is 34 metres. This makes The Big Buddha one of the five large of Buddha statues in China, and becomes a must see tourist attraction in Hong Kong. Located at Ngong Ping, Lantau Island, the statue can be reached by cable car or by bus. I always go through Tung Chung either by cable car (lovely experience) or by bus. There are standard and crystal cable cars you can chose to enjoy the view along the way. It costs between 250 HKD for standard car (return) and 350 HKD for crystal car (return). Always check related websites to get promo tickets. If you go by bus from you can take bus NLB no. 23 from Tung Chung bus terminal. It takes around one hour (one way) and it costs 19 HKD.
