The British Museum in London

The British Museum in London is one of the greatest museums in the world, right up there with the Louvre and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. It houses a huge collection of art and historical artifacts, from ancient Egyptian tombs to medieval paintings. One of the real highlights of the collection is the Rosetta Stone, which helped us translate some of the ancient script. Honestly, one hour will not be enough, so aim to spend half a day.
