Getting There - train direct from Shanghai hongqiao railway station + 1 hour car ride from ningbo railway station to the hotel Hotels - park Hyatt resort & spa we took a trip to ningbo to explore the Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa is situated on the banks of Dongqian Lake – which translates to ‘lake of money in the east’, one of the most scenic destinations in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province. It is just 2-½ hours’ drive from Shanghai, making it the perfect weekend retreat. we tried the Seafood House restaurant for dinner. the idea is to redefine the fish market concept, allowing guests to choose their own “catch” from a series of preparation styles ranging from local Ningbo favorites to nearby Zhejiang flavors. the food was fresh and well prepared. the buffet breakfast was changed to al a carte due to low occupancy and recent covid restrictions. service was lovely & staff were attentive.
