Phu Quy is the only island district of Binh Thuan Province, Vietnam. It is an archipelago of 12 islands, large and small, the furthest in the southernmost island system of Central Vietnam. - It is 56 nautical miles (about 104 km) from Phan Thiet city to the east - southeast. - Phu Quy island has long been familiar with many people through ancient history under many names: Co Long, Thuan Tinh, Cu Lao Khoai Xu, Cu Lao Thu, etc. Western maritimes often call Phu Island The quarter is Poulo-Cécir-de-Mer. - Currently, there are Superdong speedboats from Phan Thiet to Phu Quy island which takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
