#7月好去地方2025 Shanghai Old Street, also known as "Chenghuang Temple Old Street", is located near the Yuyuan Business District in Huangpu District. It is one of the most intact traditional streets in Shanghai. It combines the Jiangnan architectural style of old Shanghai with modern sightseeing business. The streets are lined with antique wooden buildings with flying eaves, carved beams and painted buildings. Walking in it is like traveling back to the time tunnel of old Shanghai. The old street gathers a variety of traditional Shanghai dim sum, handicrafts and souvenir shops, such as Nanxiang Xiaolongbao, crab shell yellow, five-spice beans, pear paste candy and other old flavors can be tasted here. Not far away is the famous Yuyuan and Chenghuang Temple, and the entire historical and cultural area can be connected by foot. The Ancient City Park is located on the east side of the old street. It is a small park that combines historical relics and green rest space. Some of the remains of the old city wall of Shanghai are still preserved in the park.
