North Bund Streets

A great way to spend the day in Shanghai is getting out on a bicycle or scooter and exploring the northern areas of the Bund. A great way to start is by heading to the bottom of Suzhou Creek where it joins the Huangpu River. Hop on a bike and cycle along the greenway or Dongdaming Lu (东大名路). Explore the area all the way up until the old Power Station. If you're up for a bit of shopping, there's a great outlet area there which has a chocolate factory! Make sure to explore some of the side streets and you might come across some remnants of old Shanghai. After exploring the Puxi side of the area, hop on a ferry and cross the river to the Pudong side.
