The alien-like fish at Dream Aquarium

Dream aquarium is located at the end of OCT mall, close to OCT subway station in Shenzhen. It costs 60RMB per person for entry and takes approximately 1-2 hours to see it all. It is a series of dimly lit rooms, lit up by UV lights and coloured LEDs, to create a truly surreal experience. I would recommend going here in the evening when it might be less busy as walking around here by yourself or with a few friends is very peaceful, relaxing and interesting. The main focus of the aquarium is on different species of jellyfish, in a variety of types of tanks, some rooms are full of long tube tanks with mirrors on the walls giving the effect that the rooms go on forever. They also have many species of fish, crabs, rays, some turtles and even some octopus, mostly small to medium sized. The highlight of the aquarium is a sea lion show, these shows run at various times throughout the day and take about 30 minutes, you can see the sea lions performing amazing acrobatic tricks and doing other funny things.
