Outer Shenzhen

With a fairly long coastline, one benefit of Shenzhen is how accessible the outskirts can be and how easy it can be to get to the coast. While beaches are within a subway journey of downtown, you can head a little further afield to Dapeng for something a little different. A little harder to get to, Dapeng’s beaches tend to be a little quieter, the towns a little more relaxing and the views just a bit more peaceful. Plus, who can complain when just a stone’s throw from the beach there is a relatively cool temple that you can go wander around in when lazing around isn’t doing it for you anymore.
