old village vibes of Phoenix (凤凰老村)

it's enlightening for me to quote rare and well preserved old dwellings especially local areas in modern and futuristic city like Shenzhen. Particularly those old gem located in Fuyong, at the foot of Fenghuang mountains in district of Bao An. It's a cool place to have a leisure walk at your own pleasure, as the world seems goes slowly here. The labyrinth alleyways of 凤凰老村 are absolutely quiet, perhaps the original tenants has long gone or the next generation doesn't seems interested to stay in small, old decrepit village houses although many have been altered considering the renovation effort by the local government, the place and buildings still exudes the aura of yesteryears.. There are a few temples and clan houses that is open for visitor's viewing, sort like mini museum that exhibits retro furnitures and stuff related to the olden day wares. #travelinspiration#culturalattraction#scenicspotguide#historicculture
