Angkor Wat

A 15-foot high wall, surrounded by a wide moat, protected the city, the temple and residents from invasion, and much of that fortification is still standing. A sandstone causeway served as the main access point for the temple. Angkor Wat is located in Siem Reap, Cambodia. This serves nowadays a location for shooting movies because of its unique design and reminds us a historic story behind this place. #summervacation #hiking #cambodiatravel #ancientlandmark #historicculture
