Singapore brings together a variety of Asian cuisines, among them there are many excellent long-established bakery shops, which have great egg tarts or all kinds of tarts. 🥧I’m always a huge fan of egg tarts, so I decide to try all these popular tarts one by one. 📍Tai Cheong Bakery One of the most historic bakeries in Hong Kong, having all kinds of signature tarts. I bought an egg tart, a pandan tart, and a durian & cheese tart. 💰Price $2-3 one tart. The tarts are made with pie crust, very crispy. All the tarts taste great but the egg tart is a little bit too sweet for me. So I will recommend you the pandan tart and the durian & cheese tart.🧀️ 📍LE CAFE CONFECTIONERY & PASTRY It’s famous for its signature bean curd tarts. The tarts are made with pie crust as well. 🥛It tastes like sweet soy milk, but not too sweet and very refreshing. It’s pricy as well, $10 for 8pcs.💰 📍Leung Sang HK Pastries It doesn’t have other special tarts, just normal egg tarts. 🥚The egg tart is made by puff pastry, very thick. It’s thick and rich and not too sweet. But might feel a little bit too rich if eat too much.
