Location - Singapore Botanic Gardens, 1 Cluny Road Getting there - Aside from driving or taking a car, the easiest way to get there is through the blue MRT line to the Botanic Gardens station, which gets you right beside Melati Gate and into Botanic Gardens At the gardens, there are plenty of trails to explore with many interesting and some rare or old flora and fauna to spot. There are also plenty of big open spaces which allows for kids to play around or for you to picnic or rest around. There is also a beautiful lake there.
