YEHS Hotel Sydney CBD

Overall I have no complaints about the hotel, our room was tended to (toilet paper filled up, shampoo and conditioner supplied and beds made) every day, sheets were changed on the 3rd day. We arrived at about 1:30 and were allowed to go to our room (as it was ready). Both my sister and I were very happy with the staff and facilities. The location was great close to museum train station, Paddy's Market, China Town and Darling Harbour (10 minutes walk) and was only 20 minutes from the Botanical Gardens and 30 minutes from Sydney Harbour. The airport was not far away, about half an hour by walking to Museum Station and catching the train. The other guests in the hotel seemed pretty quiet which was another positive. However if you want to explore the Blue Mountains it isn't exactly nearby, however this was something both my sister and I failed to consider, aside from that a great hotel if you want to be close to the sites mentioned. I would highly recommend this hotel to those travelling alone or as a couple if you want to see the typical tourist attractions, however as mentioned if you don't have much time and want to see the Blue Mountains I'd recommend booking somewhere a bit closer. I would be more than happy to stay at this hotel again provided we don't plan on travelling to the Blue Mountains The rooms are a only a little on the tight side and although there was minimal sunlight/windows in my room, i actually really liked it. I did get an upgrade so perhaps it was a little more impressive than I had been expecting. Over all, I really enjoyed staying here; location, staff, everything was great and it will be my new go-to of the more affordable hotels in Sydney. The bathroom and shower were modern and spacious. I’m not sure if the hotel went through a recent refurbishment but considering the age of the building, the small pokey hallways, minimal windows for light and ventilation - everything seemed very new, fresh and clean, and quality rather than cheaply done. #infinitypool#themepark#nationalpark#lakes#beaches
