Wat Pha That Luang

Wat Pha That Luang is one of the most important religious and historical building in Vientiane - Laos. This place is not located in down town, however It can be reached easily by taxi or public transport. It would take you 15 - 20 min by car as its 4km away for city centre. The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot. This is an impressive building extensively decorated both inside and outside with great amount of details. The main attraction is the big sleeping Buddha on the grass.
