Botanical Garden of the University of Wroclaw

We took tram 9 from our hotel to get to the Botanic Garden (Ogrod botaniczny) and passed on our way the market hall at tram stop Hala Targowa. We got off the tram at pl. Bema and followed the disappearing tram for 300 m to get to the entrance of the garden in H Sienkiewicsa 23. Normal entrance fee is 15 PLN but as pensioners we paid 10 PLN. Just after paying up we turned to the right into an alley and its end round the corner we found Café Flora. We went there for a nice cup of coffee and a piece of lovely fruit tart. For the two of us it cost 36 PLN. To the side of the café we found three or four greenhouses full of green plants. To an expert on plants it would be interesting. When we visited, the garden was full of colours. The garden was smaller than we had anticipated so we had a nice walk around just short of an hour and left.
