It was an amazing place and we had a wonderful experience. The staff is wonderful, generous and passionate. The place is superb and the whiskey is really delicious. We ended the distillery tour at the tasting room where we received 2 different glasses of whiskey.

Went with my sister on Sunday, August 3rd. Took pictures of the bridges. Visited the Kelpies, Loch Lomond, Callander, and Stirling Castle... LOVED IT!! Amazing tour, excellent guide/bus driver. Very knowledgeable and even speaks Spanish. 10 out of 10.

He took us off the beaten path and gave a wonderfully detailed historical tour of Stirling Bridge and the Falkirk Wheel—absolutely perfect! This wasn’t a rushed bus tour; Ricky took his time, avoided crowded spots, and tailored the experience to our preferences. He also suggested a great family-owned lunch spot and even took a different route back to Glasgow so we could see some Highland Cows. Highly recommend booking a tour with Ricky—just share your interests, and he’ll create the perfect itinerary for you!

We booked a nostalgia tour of Stirling and Bannockburn with Michael, and he was absolutely wonderful. His knowledge of local history was impressive, and he shared many fascinating stories along the way. He ensured we visited all the places we wanted efficiently and comfortably in his Range Rover, always adding a touch of local insight. I have to start by saying that COLIN was an exceptional driver, leader, and tour guide—he deserved 6 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. He was cheerful, informative, and vibrant, striking the perfect balance with his chatter—not too much, just enough. He truly made the holiday memorable. Though the first 2¼ days were marred by rain, the last 1¾ days brought warm sunshine. I remember Colin joking, "The good news is there is only one cloud in the sky, the bad news is, it's bigger than Scotland." 😆 Colin was timely and precise every single day, ensuring smooth journeys, ferries, and stops. · *Monday, Day 1:** Colin turned the drive to Oban into a scenic road trip, with delightful stops at Luss on Loch Lomond and Inverary Castle and town. Accommodation in Tobermory was quite pricey, so I opted to book on my own. At £250 per night for a couple (£150 for solo travelers), it wasn’t cheap. However, the location on the promenade was perfect, despite my room’s view being just of a hill at the back. Colin was punctual as ever, helping us load up each morning. · *Tuesday, Day 2:** We began early at 7:30 am with a two-hour drive and ferry ride to Iona. Everything on the island was within walking distance, and places like the Nunnery, Abbey, Visitors' Centre, and Martyr's Bay cafe provided convenient shelter. One highlight was the optional trip to Staffa to see puffins and Fingal's Cave—a personal dream come true for me. While the boat ride was manageable, the time on the island felt a bit risky for me. There was a section with no handrail for about 100 feet, where I saw some people stumble and fall. Unfortunately, I decided to turn back before entering the cave, as I felt unsteady and lacked assistance like a walking stick. Others also had to turn back. · *Wednesday, Day 3:** The sunny weather made for a pleasant but leisurely drive to Calgary Bay (inspiration for Calgary, Alberta). Afterward, we took a short ferry ride to Ulva, a tranquil spot for photo opportunities, peaceful walks, a Telford-designed church, and the Boathouse. We returned early, giving us extra time to explore Tobermory at leisure. · *Thursday, Day 4:** The journey back to Glasgow featured two ferries and picturesque stops at Glencoe, Killen, and the Kelpies. We also passed landmarks like the Wallace Tower and Stirling Castle. Colin generously dropped off passengers at their hotels and kindly left me at Glasgow Central. The trip was absolutely worth it, even though no one can control the weather in July. Our tour guide Brian was absolutely awesome! We visited hairy coos, Stirling Castle, Loch Lomond, and the Kelpies. Brian shared captivating stories about Robert the Bruce and The Good James Douglas (The Black Douglas), who happens to be my 22nd great-grandfather. Hearing those tales was amazing! I felt the visit to Stirling Castle was a bit brief since I adore castles and missed exploring the kitchens and chapel. Other than that, every moment of the tour was wonderful. Thanks for such an unforgettable experience!

The Titan Hotel room in Clybebank was just what I needed for one night.I connected with Dalmuir rail station to travel into City Centre.The Metallica concert at Hampden Park was a fantastic experience.I travelled to Falkirk by train from Glasgow Queen St. to see and ride on the magnificent egineering masterpiece that is the Falkirk Wheel.The Kelpies sculptures are approx 5km from the wheel and are equally impressive.Both are 5 star attractions.

We had a wonderful day out, and Bernie, our bus driver, was incredibly friendly. Due to heavy bank holiday traffic, our time at the Kelpies was quite brief—but this wasn’t the company’s fault, just the result of a busy day. Visiting the Falkirk Wheel first and then the Kelpies might have improved the experience. Overall, it was a fantastic outing, and I’d rate it 10/10.

If you're on a road trip up to the Highlands and passing through Falkirk, you definitely need to pull over and snap some pics with these two giant beasts! 📸 🤖 Transformers Vibe: Standing a massive 30 meters tall (that's about 10 stories!), they're built with nearly a thousand stainless steel plates. They're incredibly shiny during the day, and when lit up at night, it's straight out of a sci-fi movie! 🧠 Terrifying Myth vs. Blue-Collar Spirit: The name comes from the mysterious Scottish shape-shifting water spirits, the "Kelpies," known for dragging people into the water. But the sculptures are actually a tribute to the heavy-duty "working horses" that toiled away building the local canals back in the day. 💼 Never Be a Workhorse Again: To all the fellow working-class folks who have moved to the UK or are just visiting, you absolutely have to drop by and pay your respects to these two legendary pioneer bros. One of our group courageously took the wheel, enabling an incredible whirlwind tour of Scotland. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking. Starting in Edinburgh, we made our way to Inverness, stopping midway to admire the impressive Kelpies. In Inverness, we enjoyed a Loch Ness cruise before heading to Oban/Argyll, staying at the delightful Knipoch Hotel. Although our island cruise was canceled, the hotel staff turned the day into a lovely experience. We ventured into Oban for the evening. The next day's cruise was also canceled, but the distillery tour and fresh seafood made up for it. Finally, we spent a couple of days in Glasgow before wrapping up the journey back in Edinburgh.

Our tour guide, Gerry, was phenomenal! He picked us up right from our cruise port and spent the whole day taking us on an incredible adventure. We visited Loch Lomond, Luss, the Coo’s, Kelpies, and Inveraray. Gerry’s knowledge made every detail fascinating and fun, and he even stopped for quick photo opportunities before we moved on. The atmosphere was great throughout, and my favorite part was interacting with the Coo’s—Gerry encouraged us to feed them and even brought a little brush for their noses! Gerry was outstanding, and I couldn’t have wished for a better guide in such a wonderful area. Thank you, Gerry, for everything!

This was my first time trying a mystery tour, and I’d love to make it a monthly activity if possible! It’s an excellent way to explore more of Scotland. You get to visit two locations. Our first stop was the Kelpies, which I’ve visited many times before, so I was a little underwhelmed. That said, I do enjoy them, and grabbing a coffee and browsing the shop was nice. The next destination was North Berwick, a place I’ve often driven past but never stopped. It was the perfect day to check out the local shops, enjoy some wine, and admire the coast.
