Hotel Clad Gotemba boasts a convenient location, connected to Gotemba Outlet by a pedestrian bridge. For those traveling by car, parking is free in the parking lot next to the hotel. My room this time faced Mount Fuji; opening the curtains revealed a panoramic view of the entire mountain. The bed was comfortable, with just the right firmness. There was ample space for the power switch. The room included a double sofa, coffee table, and room for two large suitcases. Additionally, the room provided bottled water, Ito En tea bags, and toiletries. The hotel has a large public bath, divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The outdoor bath offers views of Mount Fuji while bathing. Outside the public bath are a library, a relaxation area, and a small bar, allowing you to relax while enjoying the view of Mount Fuji. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of food, including cereals, salads, curry rice, bread, cheese, and drinks. Hotel CLAD offers an amazing stay with stunning views of Mount Fuji, especially from the rooms and onsen areas. Waking up to such a clear, unobstructed view was truly the highlight of the trip. The hotel is very reasonably priced for the view, quality, space, and experience you get, making it excellent value for money. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with large windows that really let you enjoy the scenery. The view from lobby is crazy beautiful. It’s also just next to Gotemba premium outlets! The private onsen is a big plus—perfect for relaxing in privacy while enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Overall, Hotel CLAD combines great views, comfort, and affordability, and is an excellent choice for a relaxing stay in Gotemba. Highly recommended. This is a newly opened hotel under the 7x7 brand. We were incredibly lucky to be assigned room 904! The room faces Mount Fuji, offering stunning views from both the bed and the bathroom!! The room is a spacious tatami room and a Western-style room!! You can easily lay your suitcase out!! The bathroom has two sinks, a washing machine with a dryer, laundry balls, a kitchenette with dishes and a microwave. Perfect for friends and families!! The price is also very reasonable! We booked two nights for two people for less than 60,000 yen! (Booked two months in advance!!) It's about a 10-minute drive from Gotemba, highly recommended for those going to Gotemba Premium Outlets! There's a sauna (for a fee) and a free gym on the first floor. The gym seems special; the oxygen levels are set according to the high-altitude oxygen levels, doubling the workout effect. If you're interested, you can check it out. The two of us were completely out of breath after just 10 minutes of exercise! 🤣 However, since there aren't many good restaurants nearby, I suggest eating your fill at Gotemba Premium Outlets before coming back. The magic is in slowing down and living each moment Here's a detailed Tokyo → Mt Fuji → Hakone 3-Day Trip ✨ After a fun day at Tokyo Disney, I went to Shinjuku Station and took the Odakyu Romancecar straight to Gotemba Station. Stayed at Hotel Clad Gotemba — loved the Mt Fuji view room! It comes with free public onsen access and is only 3 mins walk to Gotemba Premium Outlets. There’s a complimentary shuttle bus between the outlet and Gotemba Station (do check the timing!). Gotemba sits nicely between Mt Fuji and Hakone, making it a great base. Day 1: Arrived in Gotemba, checked in, relaxed at the hot spring, and shopped at the outlets. Day 2: Spent the whole day at Mt Fuji. I used the Fuji-Hakone 3-Day Pass — it covers buses, subways, and entrances to many attractions in both areas. Make sure to catch the last shuttle bus back to the hotel! Day 3: Checked out and used the hotel’s luggage delivery service to send my bags back to Tokyo (super convenient!). Then enjoyed a full day in Hakone before heading back to Tokyo with the same pass. After realizing we couldn't see Mount Fuji from the Nikawa Watch Shop, we decided to head straight to Gotemba, where we could enjoy a close-up view of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Mount Fuji 🥳 Gotemba Premium Outlets is Japan's largest outlet mall in terms of area, featuring a wide variety of brand stores. However, having just returned from an outlet shopping spree in Hawaii, the discounts here didn't feel as impressive. We wandered around for less than half an hour before deciding to find a restaurant to eat 😂 Gyukatsu Motomura seemed quite popular, and since there was no line, we took a number and were seated right away! The restaurant only serves fried beef cutlet set meals, available in three sizes. We ordered the sets with one and two pieces of beef cutlet. Our meals were served in less than ten minutes 👍 The set meals were quite hearty, with various side dishes included. One highlight was the delicious grated yam served with barley rice, which you can get a free refill of! The fried beef cutlet is cooked to medium rare, but you can use the hot stone on the table to heat it to your preferred doneness. Even when cooked to well-done, the beef remains incredibly tender and delicious! This was my first time trying fried beef cutlet, and it exceeded my expectations. The only downside was the strong smell of oil in the restaurant, which was a bit overwhelming. When arriving at 8:30 on the day, we were told the earliest bus was at 10:15. 🗻Second stop: Mt. Fuji Run - Gotemba Outlet: You can walk from Asama Shrine to Mt. Fuji Run and enjoy unobstructed views of Mt. Fuji, combined with traditional Japanese two-story detached houses, perfect for photo lovers and leisurely walkers. Take the bus before Mt. Fuji Run (IC cards can be used), passing through Kawaguchiko and Yamanakako, and arrive at the last stop, Gotemba Run. You can take a free shuttle bus to the outlet. 🛍️Third stop: Gotemba Outlet Shopping There is a QR code to scan at the shuttle bus drop-off point. Certain stores offer an additional 5% discount for purchases over 11,000¥. Gotemba is vast and mainly divided into three major areas, so it is recommended to find the brands you are interested in first to avoid wasting time! *Pay attention to the big sale times on the official website for better discounts. 🍢Fourth stop: Shinjuku Torikizoku Yakitori Gotemba Outlet is open until 8 PM. Take the shuttle bus back to Gotemba Run and then return to Shinjuku (about 2 hours). It’s perfect to eat at Torikizoku, which is within a 5-minute walk from the station, and experience Japanese yakitori culture before taking the last train at midnight back!

Here are the 2 passes! 1️⃣ The north area pass covers Lake Kawaguchiko, Lake Motosu, Lake Saiko and Lake Shoji. 2️⃣ The east area pass covers Lake Yamanakako. You can purchase the passes at the counter or via Japan Transit app! Top-notch hotel facilities💯 Hotel Clad is very popular, especially the unique room types. If you plan to visit, make sure to book early! The hotel lobby is beautiful! We could see Mount Fuji on the day we checked in. Rooms are available from 3 PM, but if you arrive early, you can store your luggage and head to the Outlet. The hotel has a direct passage to Gotemba Outlet, so no worries even if it rains!☔️ Hotel Clad's design is very thoughtful, with small details related to Mount Fuji everywhere. See if you can spot them! Comfortable and cozy rooms😌 The room's lighting and space are top-notch! Absolutely stunning!😍 As soon as we entered the room, the whole family couldn't help but exclaim, "Wow, it's so beautiful!" Even if you can't see Mount Fuji that day, the room's lighting and comfortable space are still very appealing. The large window view is unbeatable, and the scenery outside looks like a painting!🖼️ We stayed at Hotel Clad for two days and one night, and I spent most of the time sitting by the large window, enjoying the view. It was truly relaxing! Convenient transportation😋 The hotel has an elevator directly to the Premium Outlets, which takes about 1-2 minutes. However, note the elevator's operating hours, roughly from 8 AM to 8 PM. If you plan to visit the Outlet, keep this in mind! After dropping off our luggage, we went to the "Ki no Hana no Yu" café to relax. At Hotel Clad, you don't need to carry your wallet; you can charge everything to your room card and settle the bill at checkout. Super convenient! Hot spring enjoyment🌟 Guests can use the hotel's own hot spring, "Ki no Hana no Yu." You can go directly in your bathrobe. The hot spring is open from 6 AM to 11 PM. Although the hotel doesn't have private baths or hot springs, you can book a private bath for 3000-5000 yen per hour. If you want to enjoy a private space and hot spring with your family, along with the beautiful Mount Fuji view, it's a great option! Gotemba is famous for its outlets, but it also has many tourist spots. This time, we will introduce the charms of Gotemba, which is not just for shopping at the outlets. First, Peace Park, where you will be captivated by its pure white pagoda, like a Buddhist temple in Southeast Asia! This park is centered around the white stupa that houses a portion of Shaka's bones, donated by the late Indian Prime Minister Nehru, and features a Buddhist dojo, a Kannon statue, and 33 Kannon statues. On a clear day, you can see the large Mt. Fuji directly behind you, but unfortunately it was hidden when I went there. The second spot is Goryu Falls. It is a series of five waterfalls that flow down a lava cliff about 100 meters wide and 12 meters high, and is designated as a natural monument of Shizuoka Prefecture. There is also a suspension bridge, and you can view the waterfall from it, which is recommended☺️ The third is Komakado Wind Cave✨ This tunnel was created by the eruption of Shin-Fuji about 10,000 years ago, and you can enter it about 150m deep.
