Snow Peak LAND STATION Hakuba is not just a “camping equipment store” or a “cafe with a great view”, but an “experience” that perfectly combines the lifestyle of nature with minimalism. The location is in a very beautiful location. In front, there is a wide lawn with a panoramic mountain view, perfect for sitting and sipping coffee quietly, looking at the view, or taking pictures all day long. The cafe here serves food and drinks using local ingredients, delicious (Hakuba beer!!!). The decoration is simple but has a modern Japanese feel. Inside, there is also a Snow Peak brand showroom to choose from camping equipment, clothing, and high-quality outdoor products. Anyone who is a camping lover will definitely love it. If anyone has time and wants to live a real camping life, there is an area at the back for setting up tents and a quiet minimalist house, perfect for relaxing and resetting yourself from the hustle and bustle. I was personally impressed by the simplicity and attention to detail in every corner of Snow Peak Hakuba, whether it is the arrangement of the area, the architecture, or even the choice of materials. Everything reflects the concept of truly “harmonizing with nature”. And during the time I visited, there was an event in front of the shop with a festival. There were dancing, performances, and local songs. It was great!!! If you have a chance to come here, I would recommend you to stop by even if you are not staying. Just stopping by to sit and enjoy the view, try some coffee, or walk around and look at the products is worth it.

This is another place that is on my wishlist that I must come. It is soooooo beautiful. It was soooooo beautiful from the moment I entered Hakuba city. We saw the Japan Alps all the way. We chose to take the bus to sleep in Nagano first and then take the bus from Nagano to Hakuba. We arrived around 10 a.m., there were already quite a few tourists queuing to buy round-trip Gondola tickets. When we reached the top, we played the Yoohoo Swing first. There is a video shooting service. Then we went to the highlight of this place, which is a cafe where you can see the snow-covered Japan Alps above and the beautiful green below. We were lucky that there were few clouds but the sun wasn’t too strong. But the weather was great. Then we took the lift with our legs dangling down to the cafe and sat on the Giant Swing, which was way more thrilling than the Yoohoo. The view was just as beautiful. We also stopped for some ice cream. Don’t miss it if you go to Hakuba! Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort Tips: There aren’t many rounds on the shuttle bus from Iwatake to JR Hakuba station. When you get off the bus, check the schedule to see what times it runs.
