Relaxing at Starbucks while reading a book
At the Starbucks on the second floor of AEON Mall Hinode, you can bring in up to three books from the adjacent Miraiya Bookstore and read them at your leisure.
I sometimes come here to read in the morning on my days off.
If I really like a book, I buy it.
When you're done reading a book, you can return it to the designated shelf, and an attendant will check it for dirt before returning it to its original place.

Komyo-ji Temple: Peaceful and tranquil⛩️🌿
#Tokyo Attractions
Guangming Temple made me feel extremely peaceful. The temple’s quaint wooden structures blend perfectly with the surrounding natural environment, as if I had walked into a tranquil painting. 🌸🌳
The garden design inside the temple is exquisite, and the lotus flowers and stone lanterns in the pond complement each other so beautifully that I couldn't help but stop and admire them. The breeze blew, the water surface sparkled, and my heart was filled with peace and harmony. 💖💧It made me feel close to nature and my heart became quiet. 🍃🦜
Whether you are meditating alone or spending time with friends, Guangming Temple allows you to enjoy the unique charm of Japanese temples🌈🌟

Hiking
#travelanywhere Beautiful views, fresh air. The little house for visitors was closed when we were there but the observatory was great. From here it is a very steep decent down to the Tsuru Tsuru onsen area.Great views
Easy hike from Mt. Mitake.

Mt. Hinode
#travelanywhere
It's an easy and straightforward climb - my friend even as far as saying that junior high school students could easily hike this mountain (more like a hill though) without breaking a sweat. We started the trek from Itsukaichi station direction. The route is very well-marked and established. Can't believe this place is still within Tokyo's 23 Ward border. Nonetheless, a nice change of pace from work and gloominess after the Corona lockdown in 2020.
The summit itself was quite small and quickly became crowded during hiking season. There's a bas-relief of the contour of the mountain itself on the summit. One can also trek further to other mountains next to it or even all the way to Mitake valley some kilometers away.
