Mont-Saint-Michel is a tidal island and mainland commune in Normandy, France. The island lies approximately one kilometre off the country's north-western coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches and is 7 hectares in area.
Saint-Aubert, the Bishop of Avranches, founded Mont Saint Michel in 708 after having seen the archangel Saint-Michel appear in his dreams three times.
The island was originally called Mont-Tombe but became known as Mont-Saint-Michel in the 8th century, when St. Aubert, bishop of Avranches, built an oratory there after having a vision of the archangel St. Michael. It rapidly became a pilgrimage centre, and in 966 a Benedictine abbey was built there.

🇫🇷 Monet's Enchanted Haven
#paristrip
Giverny's House & Gardens, famously home to renowned Impressionist painter Claude Monet, is a breathtaking oasis of natural beauty and artistic inspiration.
Stepping into Monet's former residence transports visitors to the serene world depicted in his masterpieces. The meticulously maintained gardens, with their vibrant flowerbeds, serene ponds, and iconic Japanese bridge, evoke the same sense of tranquility and harmony that captivated Monet himself.
Exploring the house reveals glimpses of the artist's life and work, adding depth to the experience. Whether admiring the water lilies or strolling through the flower-lined pathways, Giverny's House & Gardens is a haven for art lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
Giverny, the world-famous garden town in France, is an original art town
Monet's Garden is the former residence of the famous French painter Monet, divided into a water garden and a flower garden. The flower garden, also known as the Normandy Garden, is located in front of the house, rectangular in shape, covering about one hectare. The water garden is an artificial lake, filled with water lilies!
Monet did not plant flowers according to their varieties in different places, but mixed all kinds of flowers, from the most common to the rarest, together!
Not only are they staggered in height, but they also pay great attention to the coordination of colors. Red, brown, orange, blue and other tones of flowers are scattered among them, presenting a natural visual dynamism!
Monet's home
🇫🇷Monet's former residence. Come with me to see Monet's 'Water Lilies'🪷, all the beautiful scenery here has appeared in Monet's paintings many times! I envy him so much, every day I can see herds of cows and seas of flowers as soon as I open the window.

Speaking of Elephant Trunk Hill, we must first talk about the French painter Monet, one of the founders of Impressionism, and also its representative. You should have heard of the famous "Sunrise Impression"?
Monet was born in Paris. At the age of 5, the family moved to Le Havre in the Normandy region. So when he grew up, Monet painted his hometown of Le Havre. Not only that, the Elephant Trunk Hill near Le Havre became a Monet dish.
With Monet's eyes on the country, the scenery in front of him becomes an oil painting.
Back to Elephant Trunk Hill, as the name suggests, is the mountain that looks like a nose. There are three elephant trunk mountains in the Elephant Trunk Mountain Scenic Area. Because it is also called Elephant Trunk Hill, it is a friendly scenic spot with the Elephant Trunk Hill in Guilin.

Juno Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
You see Sunrise, you see sunsets, but have you ever watched a moon rise? This one over the water at Juno Beach, FL occured after a storm had taken place earlier that day. The clouds moved out and the moon was able to shine in all her glory. Just luminous. #happynewyear

Sunsets do not have to be colorful to be magestic. This sunset at Juno Beach in Florida can still make you appreciate nature. Juno Beach is a city of less than 4,000- so you get a feel of "Old Florida". It is a great place to visit with young children because they can play in the sand and surf. #happynewyear

Located in Palm County not too far from West Palm Beach, FL is Juno Beach. This is not as well known a location as some of the other beaches in Florida, but it is lovely just the same. Not usually crowded and parking is easy to find. #happynewyear

Just in Juno Beach in Normandy, the locals who know how to live can not forget the memories of the past wars. In summer, it is a tourist attraction. In the winter, they will hold a scallop festival. Set up sheds on the beach, sell scallops, sell oysters, sell mulled wine...
We set off from Paris in the morning and just had lunch here. The scallops are abundant in the waters of Normandy, and most of the restaurants here also feature scallops. We just picked one and went in, the tin foil scallop, its really sweet, dont want it!
The oysters on the small stalls, bought directly to you to eat, with the savory sea water, ...
there are mulled wine, is also limited in winter. Cook with the fruit, hot in the cup. One cup, I can't remember how many cups I drank.
There are many other delicious foods, barbecues, hot dogs, hams... I really swallowed this note.
Anyway, I recommend everyone to go! The atmosphere is also very good, there are band performances, although the average age of the band members is a bit high, but the spirit is commendable, commendable!
Tip: If you are departing from Paris, driving is still very convenient, about two hours. If you are a tourist, you can join a local Chinese travel agency. There is a special day trip to the Normandy Scallop Festival. Is it particularly intimate?
Omaha Beach Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in Apr)
D-day landing sites
Those who remembered the events of world war 2 will remember Omaha beach. Normandy was the landing site of which 5 beaches were taken back from the Germans through the Allied’s courage and sacrifice.
Omaha beach was the toughest, the bloodiest. The sacrifices made here in June 1944 liberated Europe.
A beautiful tribute to the sacrifices of every serviceman who gave their lives so we could live free and without fear now.
#MyTripVlog
When it comes to Normandy, probably everyone knows the story of World War II about the landing of Normandy. In the Normandy landing operation, the Allies crossed the English beach and chose five beaches to land in Normandy, France. This map is very clearly marked with geographical location, from left to right, Baojian Beach, Juno Beach, Golden Beach, Ohama Beach and Utah Beach. Among them, the casualties of Ohama Beach are the most tragic.
Drive the car to the grass on the beach, walk down the sandy beaches, watch the waves come up and down again and again, pick up a few stones as a memorial. Even in the bright sunshine, people are still wrapped in coats by the cold wind, facing the English Channel in the wind, it seems that the bloody taste of World War II has not dissipated.
