Kids Love Caversham Wildlife Park
At Caversham Wildlife Park in Perth, it is an animal galore for the kids and adults. With a paid ticket, you can stay in the animal park for the entire day. There are several shows running and one of them, the kids learnt about sheep shearing and what they do with the wool. The park is home to many animals and you can see the all famous koala and take pics with them. They are so cuddly cute! My kids loved the kangaroo zone the most. The kangaroos are free to roam and there is kangaroo feed that you can take to feed any of the kangaroos there. You can also take pictures with the snake, wombat and other animals and even pat them. It is definitely a place to go for animal lovers!

Yummy Morish Nuts & Olive Farm Wines
When in perth, one will visit swan valley for its wine, food and fun activities that the place has to offer. One place not to miss would be morish nuts shop. They sell a range of different kind of nuts prepared by their nuts artisans. There are macadamia nuts, peanut brittle, almonds etc, the list just goes on and the flavours are interesting like truffle macadamia and Wasabi nuts. The shop is generous with their nuts sampling, just let the staff know which you would like to try. There are also kiddy rides and photo props outside the shop to entertain your kids. Next, just a 5 minutes drive away is Olive Farm Wines. Their wine tasting is free as long as you purchase a bottle of wine. What is interesting is that their wines is dispensed from a wine tank machine during wine tasting, versus the old method of pouring wines into glasses.

Kings Park Great for Families
Travel to Perth and you will know how kids friendly the city is. In fact, almost everywhere you go, you will be able to find a playground. A park that i recommend going is the Kings Park. The place is big with vast place to run around and even have a family picnic on the grassland, while soaking in the sun. There is also a pond area where you see swans and ducks swimming in it. The playground is the kids favourite. There are many slides, swings, tunnels and stairs for the kids to play and enjoy, and use up their energy. Dont forget to pack and bring along your picnic basket because we saw families doing the same. This is a fun place for both parents and kids, and there is also a cafe within the park, if you need a break. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #passionpassport #perth

The Blue Boat House
Remember scenes in a movie where everything looks perfect with blue blue skies and everywhere just look so tranquil? Well, i have been to such a place.
The blue boat house is Perth is built in the 1930s, but yet it is still so well maintained. It has become one of perth's local attraction because it is the only house that sticks out along the Swan river and it looks so perfect with the blue sky as the background. You will probably spend only about 5-10 minutes here just to enjoy the scenery and to take some beautiful pictures but it is worth it.
If you're driving to the blue boat house, parking is available along the streets, opposite the blue boat house. But beware as I heard there are high theft cases. #celebratewithtrip #tripblazers #urbanexplorer #awesomepic #passionpassport #mytripvlog #awesomepic

Falling for Perth
How nostalgic it is to relive my University days - one of the greatest highlights of my life. the first ever time I saw the seasons change, where leaves turn orange, shed and then regrow into a bright green.
Perth is known to be boring but i beg to differ, the people in the city plan a lot of activities all week round!
one of them is the Scarborough Food market, Food trucks of different cuisines gather around in Scarborough Beach to sell their delicacies to the beach goers. It’s a prime location because there are a lot of seats around as well as a lot of space in between the stores to move around.
The vendors are really nice, they Love to share their culture all the passions behind the dishes. And it’s really really delighting - A big difference from the guarded culture of Singapore.
To summarise:
- Great ambience
- Eat while watching the sunset by the beach
- Alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks
- Vegetarian options
- Atmosphere windy and not too humid especially in the fall period.
Food:
- bulgogi chicken
- sweet potato fries
- Forgot the name but it was a sort of meat-lovers baked potato with halloumi cheese

Funk Cider & Pastries Galore
If you love Cider, then Funk Cider in Perth Swan Valley is the place for you. Funk Cider produces its own cider and you can order their tasting paddle to try their different flavoured ciders. Their ciders are refreshing and light, perfect for the ladies. Food was equally good and they have a kids menu as well. Portions are huge and within the reasonable price range.
There is lots of outdoor space at funk cider and if you love alfresco dining, this is totally ideal for you. They are also very thoughtful and kids are given activity sheets to colour.
After a drink, hop over to Maison Saint Honore, which is just a 3 minutes drive away from funk cider. They have a huge selection of pastries and their macaroons are to die for. #tripblazers #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #foodie #perth
Kids SQ Business Class PER-SIN
It was a great way to fly on Singapore Airlines business class for my 2 boys and they certainly loved the attention from the cabin crew onboard. Kudos to the crew for taking care of the kids so well and being so accomodating.
The aircraft used from Perth to Singapore was a Boeing 350. We loved how spacious the business class seats were. The seat could fit my 2 boys, even though they had their own seat each. Bose headsets were given to them and it was a perfect fit. There were lots of kids friendly meal options onboard too, otherwise children's meal could be requested prior to departure.
We had the privilege to use the airport's business class lounge at Perth and food was decent. Somehow the western food was better than the Asian ones but glad the kids still enjoyed their food. #tripblazers #summervacation #mytripvlog #urbanexplorer #passionpassport #awesomepic

Well worth the visit
Great place to spend an hour or more. A small gallery with an interesting and varied selection of artworks, ranging from contemporary art collections as well as modern art. The Art Gallery of Western Australia is a museum for everyone, for a beginner art lover like me, and for those who are advanced art lovers. They keep changing their art collections which is fantastic as it makes it attractive to be visited more than once. I enjoyed spending time here and was pleased with the friendly and helpful staff. Very well worth the visit. No entry fee is required but visitors are encouraged to donate.

Perth's street art is seriously cool!
If I compare the dynamic rhythm of the people in Sydney, the rhythm of the people in Perth is relatively more relaxed and the pace is slower. No wonder you can find many old buildings, art museums, jogging tracks and of course green city parks in Perth. For those who are looking for a quiet city atmosphere and away from the hustle and bustle, Perth is the perfect destination.
What I want to highlight from Perth now is the street art. Perth's street art is seriously cool! When you're in Perth you're likely to stumble across a colorful mural and be captivated by some street art while walking around the alleys and laneways. Unique street art is creating inspiring laneway art to bring together local artists, residents and landowners and turning forgotten spaces into interesting places. Are you a fan of street art? You should visit Perth sometime, for sure!
