[2024 George Town Stay] Travel Guide for Armenian Street Heritage Hotel (Updated Dec)
Armenian Street
#penangtrip Quite possibly the most atmospheric and beautiful street in George Town. It's narrow, very popular with tourists and filled with colourful shops and cafes. Lots of street art here as well. You basically can't avoid if it you're here.Touristy place with not many stores. Was expecting the street to be a long stretch but was actually short. There are murals that I see many tourist hunting for pictures with but it was nothing special. Only plus side is that there are some pretty nice cafes near the street. Otherwise, the visit to this street can conclude in less than 20-30 mins.

Street Art 💕
The wall art is fascinating and there's plenty of it.. The trishaw drivers are always touting for business but are friendly if you decline. When I said no thank you in Bahasa they laughed and applauded me. The buildings and the temples are interesting. Very pedestrian friendly street. So much history in one place. So many different things to focus on all in the one place. Wear comfy shoes and enjoy.
This street are full of shop selling tourist sourvenir, drinks and food. but dont let that distract you from appreciating the history behind this street. This street is attributed to the Armenian Family that contributed to the development of george town including E&O hotel that was part of the heritage. at the end of this street there was Two famous street art ( 1 bicycle and another one a boy trying to reach for a fruit which sadly gave way to development). #tripblazers #fallingforfall #awesomepic #couplestrip #foodie #urbanexplorer #summervacation

A short and sweet day trip
A short trip via old road (along the coastline) from Kedah to Penang. Truly a relaxing trip this time. One night stay at Armenian Heritage hotel, I gotta say although I spent only a few hours in the hotel, I like it. The ambiance, the amenities, the location itself are perfect. Easily accessible. Staffs are friendly and helpful. If you are in Georgetown, I would recommend going around the town via Link bikes. Cost MYR3 for 24hrs, with many stations available so you can get to one location to the next with ease. The bike is pretty sturdy, with big basket at the front so you can put your stuffs safely. No extra cost if you’re using less than 30 mins to get from one station to another.#awesomepic
