A treasure homestay loved by celebrities!
Changsha is a city adored by young people, brimming with vibrant entertainment and lifestyle—a hotspot even celebrities love to visit! This time, I traveled alone with my sister and found this homestay on Trip.com. With its white house, spiral staircase, and towering tree, it’s a minimalist and cozy retreat. We immediately chose this homestay called Kongkong Living Room, located in Chaozong Street.
Chaozong Street is a trendy, artistic district blending fashion and culture. After taking a taxi from the high-speed rail station to the entrance of Chaozong Street, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the homestay. The stone-paved alleys make dragging luggage a bit tricky, but the area is dotted with unique little shops, making the stroll enjoyable. And yes, there’s a "Hey Tea" shop every few steps—truly a Changsha specialty!
Kongkong Living Room is nestled in a quiet, secluded alley. The staff warmly helped with our luggage to the upstairs room, where floor-to-ceiling windows offered lush green views. The courtyard features a grassy lawn and a massive Chinese wingnut tree, with a white spiral staircase winding around it. Two white cottages flank the lawn—one a café, the other the homestay—both decorated in a simple yet chic French style. Celebrities like Bai Jingting, Tan Jianci, Yu Shuxin, Zhang Binbin, and Sa Beining have filmed here, drawing flocks of fans to visit and boosting its fame.
Location: Kongkong Living Room has two branches—one in Chaozong Street and another near IFS. The Chaozong Street location is at No. 24, Qunsheng Lane, Chaozong Street, Tongtai Street, Kaifu District, Changsha, just 85 meters from the historic Chaozong Street and 767 meters from Wuyi Square.
Surroundings: The homestay is conveniently located near popular attractions and shopping districts like Pozi Street Food Plaza, Wanda Plaza, and Changsha IFS, making it easy for visitors to explore and enjoy the city.
