Just touched down in two seriously photogenic European gems: Salzburg, Austria, and Peschiera Borromeo near Milan, with a quick hop through Milan Linate Airport 🇦🇹✈️🇮🇹 If you’re into a mix of culture overload and chic airport vibes, this route is totally worth it!
Must-See Places Guide
Salzburg:
🎶 Stroll through the UNESCO-listed Old Town – hit Getreidegasse for Mozart’s birthplace and tons of cute shops (most are open 10am-6pm; closed on Sundays!).
🏰 Snap dreamy pics of Hohensalzburg Fortress – either hike up or ride the funicular from Festungsgasse 4.
🌷 Insider tip: If you’re a history buff, Salzburg is compact—walking its cobblestone streets feels like time-travel. Try to go early morning or late afternoon to dodge the biggest crowds!
Peschiera Borromeo:
🌳 Chill out at Idroscalo Park, a surprise green escape right by Milan Linate Airport (open daily, free entry).
😎 Feel the history vibe—Peschiera packs centuries-old charm in a low-key setting. It’s great for recharging before hitting Milan.
Milan Linate Airport:
🚅 Tiny but super practical, Linate is just minutes from Milan city center by taxi or bus 73 (runs every 10-20 min, official stops outside arrivals, cash or card accepted). Security lines are usually short and sweet!
Quick Tips
Getting around: Salzburg’s Old Town is walkable; in Milan/Peschiera, use local taxis or public buses for easy connections.
Food: Try Schnitzel in Salzburg (Gasthof Goldgasse rocks), and of course, stop for an espresso in any Milanese café.
Cash/cards: Most places take cards, but a bit of Euros in Salzburg is handy.

Next stop Italy,🇮🇹🥰😴
Fasten your seatbelt ✈️— here’s how I made the most of traveling between Roissy-en-France (Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport) and Segrate (Milan Linate Airport)! 🌍 The coolest part? Experiencing two iconic European aviation hubs and feeling that rush of discovering something new with every step.
Top Spots to Visit:
1. Roissy-en-France: Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (95700 Roissy-en-France, France; open 24/7)
Start your adventure with some plane-spotting or grab a fresh croissant at any of the airport’s boulangeries. The terminals themselves are a mini world tour—perfect if you love people-watching or exploring duty-free wonders.
2. Segrate: Milan Linate Airport (Viale Enrico Forlanini, 20090 Segrate MI, Italy; typically open 04:00–23:30)
Touch down and soak in that “Milan style.” The airport’s compact size means you’re in and out pretty quickly, which frees up more time to explore nearby local cafes for legit Italian espresso—trust me, it’s worth it!
Insider travel insight: The thrill of seeing new places never gets old. Use every layover or arrival as an opportunity to take a breath and really look around—airports are international crossroads, filled with unique energy.
Wrap Up:
Getting Around: Both airports connect directly to their cities via train/bus. From CDG, take the RER B line into Paris; from Linate, hop on the 73 bus or metro for a straight shot to central Milan.
Food Fix: At CDG, don’t miss Paul’s for pastries; in Linate, snack at Panino Giusto for classic Italian sandwiches.
Key Tips: Both airports support contactless payments everywhere. No visa needed for short stays if you’re an EU/Schengen passport holder. Always check opening hours for airport lounges if you want a comfy rest!

🍽️ Dining at Motta Milano 1928
If you’re exploring the heart of Milan, Motta Milano 1928 is a must-visit for an authentic Italian dining experience with a dash of historic charm.
✨ Located right next to the Duomo, this iconic restaurant blends old-school Milanese sophistication with a modern twist. The ambiance? Elegant yet inviting – think marble interiors, classic Italian décor, and a view that’s hard to beat.
🧀 I tried the Risotto alla Milanese and the Cotoletta alla Milanese – both were outstanding. The risotto was creamy and rich with saffron, while the veal cutlet was perfectly crisp and tender. Don’t skip dessert – their tiramisu is a creamy dream. ☕
🍷 Pair it all with a glass of wine from their impressive selection, and you’ve got a quintessential Milanese evening.
📍Location: Piazza del Duomo
💰 Price: $$ – moderate to upscale
⭐ Vibe: Elegant, classic, and ideal for a relaxing lunch or romantic dinner.
Perfect for foodies, architecture lovers, and anyone wanting to slow down and savor Milan’s flavor.
