Quishuiling mountain hike
Quishuiling Mountain hike was an awe-inspiring experience that left me captivated by nature's beauty and my own sense of accomplishment. This challenging trail offered a perfect blend of adventure and serenity, making it an unforgettable journey for outdoor enthusiasts.
From the moment we started our ascent, the trail led us through diverse landscapes that transitioned seamlessly from lush forests to rocky terrains. The well-maintained path ensured safety while also adding to the thrill of the hike. Along the way, we were greeted by panoramic views that seemed to stretch endlessly into the horizon. The sight of mist-covered valleys and distant peaks was simply breathtaking, reminding us of the sheer magnificence of the natural world.
The Quishuiling Mountain hike isn't just about the physical journey; it's a spiritual experience that connects you with the earth. Every step seemed to wash away the stresses of daily life, allowing us to immerse ourselves in the moment and savor the present. The soothing sound of rustling leaves and distant birdsong created a harmonious symphony that was both relaxing and invigorating.
The summit was the ultimate reward for our efforts. Standing atop Quishuiling Mountain felt like a triumph over challenges and a celebration of personal growth. The feeling of accomplishment was accompanied by a sense of humility in the face of nature's grandeur. We shared stories and laughter, creating bonds with fellow hikers who were also drawn to this remarkable place.
As we descended, the sun began its descent as well, casting a golden hue on the landscape and painting a picture that words can hardly do justice. The hike down felt like a reflective journey, allowing us to relive the highlights of the day while preparing to return to the bustling world below.
In retrospect, the Quishuiling Mountain hike was more than just an outdoor adventure—it was an opportunity to reconnect with the natural world, challenge personal limits, and create lasting memories. If you're seeking a hike that blends physical exertion with awe-inspiring beauty, this trail is an absolute must-do. Be prepared for a journey that will leave you not only mesmerized but also rejuvenated in both body and spirit.

Shenzhen’s Most Unique Starbucks
We visited the recently opened Starbucks Reserve at Tianhe City (Teemall). It is the 300th store in Shenzhen and is located in the former site of Kingway Brewery in Luohu District. It pays tribute to this milestone with a very special store design.
The Kingway Brewery, where the shop is located, was a landmark building in the 1990s. After Starbucks took over, the store was renovated but the store retained the original characteristics of the building. The distinctive red cylindrical building was retained.
The shape of the store is very unique and it is a completely independent building. It has four floors, the first basement level is the main entrance and the third floor above ground is a semi-open air balcony. There are circular stairs you can walk up and down, there is also a direct elevator.
What I love the most is that there is such a variety of places to sit enjoy and experience, different areas have very different feelings. The first time you visit be sure to walk around the whole store before sitting down. There is a lot of of cool art to check out in this store (and also in the art gallery next to the store).
Both the whiskey barrel aged latte and whiskey barrel aged Americano are so good and definitely a must try if you visit this store, it’s really hard to believe there isn’t any alcohol in them because they really do taste like whiskey. 🤤

The Mandarin Cake shop - Mandarin Oriental
The Mandarin Cake Shop
We had a relaxing afternoon at the Mandarin Cake shop. It has a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere and has both indoor and outdoor seating. They have a nice selection of cakes and pastries to choose from.
We ordered the red velvet cake as recommended by the staff and Zans chose the Black Forest chocolate mousse. We also ordered a pot of sencha and a pot of earl grey tea. The chocolate mousse cake was heavenly and I will be going back for it.
The staff were really polite and helpful and even spoke In English to me when they realised I was a foreigner 😅
I will definitely be going back again, especially for that chocolate mousse cake 🥰

Forbidden city vibes in Shenzhen
Wenbo Palace
This Cultural Exhibition Centre is often referred to as Shenzhen’s Forbidden City. The structure of the Palace is a combination of architectural styles from the Qin, Han, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Unfortunately I didn’t wear Han Fu to take pictures here, I feel like it is the perfect setting for cultural pictures.
There are many shops, some selling antiques, traditional clothing and also, cafes and restaurants. The highlight for me was Xiangshan Art Gallery. It is the largest private art gallery in southern China. In the gallery, there are many precious national treasures, pottery and even famous paintings.
The closest metro station is Changlong station on line 5 Exit A (walk 800 metres or take a taxi after getting off the subway)

A park in the heart of Futian Shenzhen
#wecreate
Dajia Hao! 🎉 today I want to tell you about my lovely visit to the Shenzhen Lichee Park, a hidden gem in the heart of Shenzhen.
I visited this park few months ago with my friends and I was impressed by its beauty and tranquility.
The Shenzhen Lichee Park is located near the Lichee Metro Station, in the Futian District. It covers an area of 28 hectares and has a history of over 600 years.
The park is named after the lichee trees that grow in the park. You can see hundreds of lichee trees, as well as other plants and flowers. You can also see many birds, such as magpies, sparrows, and pigeons.
The park is full of happy people, who are walking, playing, or reading. You can also join them or just sit on a stone bench or a pavilion.
The park also has some cultural attractions, such as the Lichee Monument, the Ancient Well, and the Lichee Pavilion. You can learn about the history and culture of Shenzhen and the lichee fruit.
The Shenzhen Lichee Park is open from 6 am to 10 pm and has no admission fee.
The Shenzhen Lichee Park is a great place to visit for anyone who loves nature and history. It’s a place where you can enjoy some greenery and serenity in the busy city. After it, just go to have a drink in Chegongmiao!

A day well spent at OH BAY- Shenzhen
My family and I took the metro to Linhai station, exit B2, and visited OH Bay Mall in Bao’an Central District.
There are many family-friendly attractions, restaurants, and shops to visit in this area.
This area is absolutely beautiful during the day and especially at night. Our family had lunch at Bottles and Bites with great views of the ferris wheel.
After that, we visited the Zhongshuge bookstore, enjoyed the sunset, and took a ride on the Bay Glory (ferris wheel), which was definitely one of the most amazing experiences. Late night walks were enjoyed with a good cup of coffee.
Ensure to visit whenever you're in Shenzhen.

Yantian Shenzhen touring area
Yantian district in Shenzhen is a nice, small tourist area. There's lots of nice hotels and a huge outlets shopping mall that has something for everyone. There's also a beautiful Dameisha beach walking distance away from every hotel. All around are small restaurants, with eastern and western options. And everything is connected with beautiful pathways. #shenzhentravel
Shenzhen is ready for the rabbit 🐰 🏮
Walking around Futian district you can see a lot of decorations about Chiense new year and it makes the city looks so cozy and warmer.
People is also out of the city traveling to their hometowns so it feels a bit empty but nothing stops this amazing city to be a great destination.

Best public beach in Shenzhen 🏖
I can't remember how many times I visited this beach, from January first to any sunny weekend in Shenzhen.
Is so easy to get here, take metro line 8 and then taxi, or just straight from the CBD, it should be around 80 yuan plus no need to bother yourself with the parking space.
The sand is just fine, nothing fancy and some areas get crowded, but the tip is to go outside the main area and you'll find a quiet and nice place to stay.
Put your towels down, get yourself some snacks and drinks and enjoy the beach 🏖 ☀
And the best, getting in is free 🆓

Window of the World
If you are ever in Shenzhen, be sure to visit Wi dow of the world. Here you will see life-size (in most instances) replicas of the wonders of the world, among other world famous structures. Be sure to go to Kong Island and enjoy the ride, hand held by Kong himself! You will also be thrilled by the watwr adventures of the Colorado River and on your way down, snap a picture of the wholly mammoths!
The Pyramids of Giza are a beauty and to truly capture the moment of traveling to Egypt, a photo with the pet Camel is a must.
Mount Rushmore, Manhattan, The Grand Canyon, The Parthenon in Greece, the Roman Colosseum, Taj Mahal and Hanging Gardens of Babylon; among others, are all places to behold and they offer amazing photo opps!
The rides close at 6pm, so in order to fully enjoy the park without having to rush, it is recommended that you go with at least 3 and a half hours to spare. It's an awesome experience, you will have no regrets.#tripblazers #shenzhentravel #summervacation

Beautiful Shenzhen Park
Lychee park is one of the oldest parks in Shenzhen, and also one of my favorites. Located in a central part of Luohu, this is an easy park to get to be metro. With multiple gates and entrance points, you can start and end this in many places.
As with most larger parks in the city, there is a large body of water that is the central point of the park. You can take ‘duck shaped’ boats out for a boat ride, or watch the locals do their work on small fishing boats.
There are large areas of greenery, where you can rest, have a picnic or play sports/games, or just put a hammock up between 2 trees and take a nap.
Towards the back of this park there is a much older feel to it, more like a local community park that was extended onto the main Lychee Park
There is lots of striking local architecture in the background of this park, namely the KK100 and the Diwang Building, both iconic and unmistakable.
And at the main entrance there is the Deng Xiaoping portrait. One of the landmarks of the city. A testament to one of the heroes of China.

🏙 Shenzhen is a beautiful modern city. It’s a must visit if you are traveling to China or living in China.
🚇 Sea world subway station.
🚢 Sea world is one of the central places in Shenzhen. Here are many restaurants, bars, cafes etc.
💰 The restaurants are quite expensive since it’s a famous destination in Shenzhen. Around 150+ RMB per person for dinner.
🛍 There are shopping centers all around the area. You can definitely find whatever you need.

Shenzhen - Sea World - Minghua ship
My first time in Shenzhen city - a wonderful sunny day.
I loved the city from the first moment, thankfully I was welcomed with beautiful weather. After I met my friends, they took me to the sea world area as it is very beautiful there and you get a wide range of options of cafes, restorations, shops to choose from.
after walking around for about 15 minutes we set in one of the restaurants and had a wonderful breakfast with a nice view of the ship.
The ship is called Minghua and once it’s as a nice cruise ship and after “retirement” it was transformed into a recreation center with different restaurants, and if I am not wrong even a hotel inside.

Just less than a hour far from Shenzhen city center, Intercontinental Dameisha is a great choice to relax, enjoy the beach and cocktails at the swimming pool bar.
No need to have a room at the hotel, you can go there and pay the entrance of swimming pools (around 350 for the whole day) or can seat in front of the beach (without using swimming pool) and just order something from tables QR code.
Worth it for a relaxing weekend.

Premium Stay
As I was preparing for my business trip to Shenzhe, only before leaving Shanghai I get to know that I’ll be staying in St.Regis 🤩 . Then suddenly an idea 💡 popped up in my mind, why not to extend the stay and just do staycation for a night. Also I was quite successful in persuading my company to book it for me 😛 . After two good days of work, I decided to do the staycation on Saturday. The hotel had an amazing view of nearing towers and a neatly cleaned well maintained swimming pool 🏊♂️ . Ofcourse, the breakfast 🥞 had all the varieties that you would expect in a top notch hotel 🏨 . It was a nice time to spend there. #shenzhentravel

One of Shenzhen's Hidden Gems
Decided to visit new places for my birthday earlier this year since covid ended (THANK GOD) and was so glad to have found this on Dianping and gave it a try. This is such a gem to find in the city of Longgang. Pretty far from Futian via taxi but so worth the visit. Walking around Hakka Village, it was so beautiful in person that the pictures I took don't do it any justice. The air was clear and clean. There was traditional Chinese music gently playing around the village. People were just living life and children running around having fun. It was a relaxing and gentle experience. There's a few souvenir and tea shops around you can grab as well. Definitely a place to visit when you have the time.#trip #temples #shenzhentravel #beautiful #instagramworthydestinations
