Kor Sak temple is located to the north of Sour Prat temple and in front of Tep Pranam pagoda. This temple is about 10 kilometers from Siem Reap city or 800 meters from Bayon temple. The ancient temple was built in the early 12th century during the reign of King Suryavarman II.
Originally, it was completely surrounded by a moat and accessed only the western terrace/elevated causeway, the site was technically an island, shared with Chorm temple located directly to its east. This western terrace is also extremely ornate featuring decorated columns and a Naga balustrade.

Phnom Krom is the combination of natural and historical attractions situated approximately 12 kilometers southwest of Siem Reap city near the north end of the Tonle Sap Lake. It is also known as the best place for sunset views that all tourists should not miss.
Visitors can go to the top of the hill by using steep stairs and curved paved roads. When you arrive at the top, you will see a pagoda, the natural beauty of rice fields, and the ancient temple that was built at the end of the 9th century to the early of the 10th century.

1. Angkor Thom site is 10sq km in size.
2. There are 216 faces on the Bayon temple.
3. Baphuon temple in Angkor Thom became one of the world’s largest jigsaw puzzles when the records from the carefully mapped pieces that had been taken apart were destroyed during the Khmer Rouge. Archaeologists were left with a lot of stones on the ground and only their best guess as to where they might all go.
4. Ta Prohm is not the only temple to feature in Tomb Raider. The east gate of Angkor Thom made an appearance as well.
5. The Angkor Thom gates would have originally been closed with wooden doors.
