A truly terrifying Santa in North Pole Alaska

I would never let my children sit on the lap of THIS Santa clause. Would you? 😂😊 I guess the elves were on vacation because when I visited North Pole Alaska they had already left. This town is called North Pole but, obviously it’s not up in the north pole but you’ll find it in northern Alaska. Atown boasts a very enchanting Santa Claus workshop, a Santa senior center and they wonderful gift shop filled with Christmas decorations and ornaments and all presents for sale. #passionpassport Christmas Decorations we’re amazing here. There were many characters which were made by lights and with music it was so nice. Pine Knob Music Theatre is an outdoor amphitheater located in Independence Township, Michigan, approximately 40 miles northwest of Detroit. Built by the Nederlander Organization in the early 1970s, it is known as "Pine Knob Music Theatre" due to its proximity to the nearby Pine Knob ski area and golf course. Christmas season is officially here! Time to start wrestling with lights! Hongqiao flower market, has sat at minhang district for almost two decades. Normally this place consist of three main areas: a courtyard,a central greenhouse and an outdoor strip. Most space of greenhouse(my favourite area)is occupied by florists selling cut flowers,a bouquet of flowers may cost 20-40rmb, and you can also get some potted plants. Zhujiang New Town - Guangzhou

Zhujiang New Town is where you can find the most famous sights of Guangzhou like the Canton Tower, Guangzhou Opera House, Guangdong Museum, IFC building and the East Tower. Zhujiang New Town is also called Tianhe CBD. There are many restaurants nearby which will offer fantastic views of the area. The area is also very well served by the metro and shopping malls. In this area you will definitely find anything you need. I think a visit to Guangzhou would be incomplete if you missed this area. Huaqiang Plaza Hotel - Shenzhen

We enjoyed a great stay in Huaqiang Plaza Hotel. It is very clean and quiet, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The hotel is located in the center of the city, with Starbucks underneath the hotel, the electronics market across the road and right beside the metro station. Staff on reception were very helpful and nice. Lobby is on the 23rd floor and rooms starts from 25th up to 36th floor. Our room was on 28th floor and we had a great view! The take out was delivered by a robot! I liked it)) Breakfast wasn’t included in our room, but we paid extra 80 rmb per person to get a breakfast. Didn’t really like it, in my opinion it is poor for the western taste. This hostel is very beautiful and affordable also in a great location of Shuhe. Right next to a grocery store with fresh fruits and vegetables. The hotel is down an allyway and filled with memories of past travelers! Flight tickets, photos, and and currency from different countries. The hotel staff is very accommodating to foreigners can also communicate through WeChat. The pice is really great for the single bedroom which also comes with a bath tub. World's Tallest Infinity Pool

The Marina Bay Sands pool is enormous, a lot bigger than you think. I imagined it being jam-packed with people and no loungers available. That’s not the case. There is plenty of room, and we were able to get a lounger upon arrival. Had a great time at the infinity pool! Life Guard Kelvin was extremely helpful, helps us with booking jacuzzi. Everything was so pleasant and there were loungers under the palm trees for shade from the hot Singaporean sun. While it’s vast in length at 478 feet, it’s not deep and about four feet deep. However, it’s a record holder. The pool is constructed with 422,000 pounds of stainless steel and holds 376,500 gallons of water. It’s perched on top of the hotel 57 stories high, the highest in the world. And the backdrop is the city. Which is amazing! Harbin Ice and snow ❄️

Visiting Harbin in Winter is a must if you are in China. This city is located in the North of the country and host one of the biggest ice festival in the world. the ice sculptures are huge and well designed with details that will blow your mind. Tiger Leaping Gorge

Tiger Leaping Gorge is another of Yunnan Province’s pearls. I have never seen in my life the power of water like in this place. After two days hiking, it was totally worth coming down to see The Valley and it’s powerful current of water. Yalongbay Sanya

Yalongbay is a nice area with plenty of resorts with direct access to the beach. I stayed at the Pullman YalongBay as this hotel has Villas with private Pool. breakfast offer variety of western and Chinese style. The hotel rooms are very clean. The staff is friendly as well. I do recommend to stay in this resort as Yalong Bay Area is by far the nest beach in Sanya. #christmasgiveaway #sanya #beach

A Moller Christmas

Shanghai really is spoiled for its choice of hotels. especially in the center of the city. And what better time to have a staycation than this time of year. Covid times can be tricky and Shanghai has really proved efficient in stopping the spread. And so has Moller. The hotel is located on downtown Jing’an. This German inspired building houses a grand old hotel with great ballrooms and a winding staircase. Nestled between modern skyscrapers this building looks a little out of place due to its age but stands out proudly and is super well lit. The rooms are very nice and come with a full sized bathtub and the food was very tasty and made fresh. If anyone is planning a staycation definitely check out this hotel. A Walled Beach

Stari Grad on the island of Hvar has it all. A walled seaside paradise. A lot of people don’t know about this watery garden. But a famous Croatian Noble built this Villa turned Castle with access to the sea. The water from this place comes directly from the bay of Stari Grad. An amazing attraction right I. the centre of the city and right next to the boutique hotel. A restored Hotel built in Victorian times. Make sure to read up on your literature about Petar Hectorovic and check out his walled garden. If you look closely you will see salt water fish swimming in the man made walled lake. Croatian Lake-side Beach

What an amazing place. Hidden and overshadowed by Croatia’s more popular tourist attractions such as Dubrovnik and Zagreb. This lake is an amazing place to get away from the tourist trail and experience real village and country side life in Croatia. Here we were settled in a little camp walking distance from the Korana river. The river is so clean and cool. The beach next to it is nice and green and most of the trees next to it have swings for people to dive in. This is definitely a great place to have a picnic on the beach and spend the whole day there as there aren’t too many people on the area. All in all I would definitely recommend taking a car to get here and bring supplies as it is quite small and the first store is a good 10 minute drive away. 🙂 #christmasgiveaway #croatia #campingglamping

Thousand Happy Memories

Qiandao Lake is an amazing weekend adventure suitable for couples or families. While we were there we did a bunch of activities from kayaking to swimming and they even have hot air balloon rides. But we weren’t brave enough to rent one out. ⛴ The lake is quite big with small little islands and enclaves scattered arriving. making it look more like the coast of Bali than a lake inside China. The hotel we stayed at had a infinity pool overlooking the lake to get best of both worlds. the view of the lake and the comfort of a heated swimming pool 😊 All in all, I would definitely reccomend this lake and the beaches around it for a stroll and a picnic. There are boats that can take you around the whole lake to see more of it. A must see when in China 🙂 #christmasgiveaway #beach #lakes

Cliffs and Beaches

Bournemouth. Not a place you hear about too often, and definitely not a place you think about when you want to see untouched nation But it is a treat to go check it out yourself. This hidden place does not have too many tourist traps, but it is easy to get there by car. Once there, walk along the path next to the cliffs and take in the refreshing sea breeze. The cliffs are known are Known as Harry. there is a sad story that his wife walked along the cliffs and accidentally fell over. and that’s how they got their name. Thankfully nowadays there are rails in place. And a great path down to the shore to check out the beach. a lonely place to walk across. All in all I would definitely recommend this scenic area off the beaten path and take in the smells of the fresh sea. 😊 #christmasgiveaway

A Beach to Remember

There aren’t many beaches you can barefooted in the UK. Most of them are stony and pebbly beaches that are quite uncomfortable. But this beach on Cornwall at Newquay Harbour is one of the exceptions. Just like the rest of Cornwall, white quant houses are scattered around the countryside. and the wild green lawn come super close to the shore. There is a place where the water gives way to the sand and you can walk over it at low tide. This being the West Country it tends to not be as gloomy and we managed to get a good amount of blue skies. All in all if you decided to travel to Cornwall definitely check out this beach and bring some windbreakers as it gets a little windy 🙂 #christmasgiveaway #beaches

British Beach Paradise

On the western most tip of the UK where the Land meets the Atlantic Ocean is the aptly named Lands End. Beaches and Cliffs are scattered around the place with quaint little houses and taverns kissing the shore 🌊The water is crystal clear, unlike most of the UK that has very silvery and grey water. The reason for this is that it’s the southern most part of the UK and the Western most part. 🍦One of the local delicacies is the Cornish ice cream decorated with a chocolate flake or if you want to go full local a stick of home made toffee. All in all I would definitely recommend this place during the summer and to go as a family or a couple. Strategic Hotel near Bandung Train Station

If you look at the upper part of the building, it looks like an old hotel. However, the impression changed after seeing and entering the main lobby, then proceeding to enter the room... Spacious and modern! The rooms are super comfortable and very quiet (soundproof)p The swimming pool is very nice, spacious too. The atmosphere is good, strict health protocols are enforced here, of course! All staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is varied, the coffee is delicious and most importantly, the location is very strategic (close to the train station, close to the mall and also famous Bandung culinary places) #christmasgiveaway #staycation

Shangri-La’s little Secret

Sanya is swarming with great hotels and tourist attractions and there is a lot of material on the hotels down here. The Shangri-La is no exception. A world Class hotel on Yalong Bay. A great place to vacation and be close to the action. It is nestled inside Yalong bay with the Marriott on one side and the Ritz on the other. 🏊‍♂️ Make sure to check out pools. As this hotel has some of the better ones. If you walk around them they can be quite hard to navigate with all the curves. But if you keep going right you will find a warm shallow pool for relaxing. The first couple of days were cold and we were really thankful for the hot pool. Along with all the rest of the hotel this hotel has all the world class trappings. A great Breakfast, a fantastic gym and great architecture. All in all, I would definitely recommend this hotel 😄 #christmasgiveaway #sanya #hotelstay

Old Luxury at St.Regis

For anyone that is looking for a more elegant experience away from the crowds and in a hotel that has been in Shanghai for some time now. Look no further than the St.Regis. It is one of the older Hotels in Shanghai and it holds close to keeping its standard. The rooms are elegant and the whole hotel screams Art Deco. It feels like you are transported back in time. There are two great restaurants on the 2nd floor. A Japanese and a Chinese one. The food is good, but if your looking for something a little more elegant I would recommend the bar on the first floor. It is a large area and never packed out it does offer some good cocktails and snacks. All in all I would recommend this hotel for the business traveler. Someone who is looking to get a great experience out of a hotel and feel comfortable in their setting. #christmasgiveaway

Xishuangbanna is a city located in Yunnan province. The weather is tropical 🌴 so it is a good option to escape from the winter being surrounded with palm trees. Although is in China you get that Thailand vibe due to the architecture, people and culture. The food in the night market is affordable and tasty, also there are some performances at certain times everyday. A Ritz Staycation

I love this Hotel. It is in downtown Shanghai and you can literally find anything you want in this building. The Portman Ritz Carlton is the main hotel, but off to the wings of the Shanghai Center are service apartments! And right outside those are a plethora of restaurants. and right in the middle underneath a giant man made waterfall is the Ritz Carlton. This hotel has a gym, pool, Sauna, Business rooms, and comes with an amazing room. Normally after doing a little staycation I would feel ready to go home, but I genuinely wanted to live in this place. All in all I would definitely recommend this place for the food, the amenities and the fantastic view of Shanghai.
