A walk to remember- EPHESUS, Turkey
EPHESUS, an ancient city in Turkey’s Central Aegean region, near modern-day Selçuk. A place where paved streets wind past squares, baths and monumental ruins will bring you back to past. In fact, its excavated remains reflect centuries of history, from classical Greece to the Roman Empire – when it was the Mediterranean’s main commercial center – to the spread of Christianity. So if you’re into historical places, Ephesus is surely the place to go to. Such a beautiful place, really 😍💕

Belgrade Waterfront: Bridging Past and Future
Exploring the Belgrade Waterfront is like stepping into a vision of the future while being grounded in the rich history of the city. The modernity of the architecture, with its sleek lines and innovative designs, is a stark contrast to the traditional charm of Belgrade. As someone captivated by the intersection of technology and humanity, this urban development speaks to the forward-thinking mindset shaping the city's future.
Walking through the waterfront, I couldn't help but appreciate the careful integration of green spaces. It's not just concrete and steel; there's a deliberate effort to create a harmonious balance with nature. The parks and recreational areas provide a welcome respite, allowing for a moment of serenity amid the urban hustle.
The Belgrade Tower, standing tall and proud, symbolizes the city's aspirations. Climbing to the top, the panoramic views are breathtaking, offering a unique perspective of Belgrade's past, present, and the endless possibilities for its future. It's a reminder that progress doesn't mean abandoning heritage; it's about evolving while staying true to one's roots.
Personally, I found the inclusion of cultural and entertainment spaces to be a delightful surprise. Theaters, shopping centers, and vibrant public spaces create a lively atmosphere. It's not just a place to live or work; it's a place to experience life in all its dimensions.
And then there's the connectivity. Navigating through the Belgrade Waterfront is seamless, whether on foot, bike, or public transport. It's a testament to thoughtful urban planning, making the entire area accessible and encouraging a sense of community.

🇻🇳UNESCO heritage My Son🇻🇳
🇻🇳The Harmonious Hoi An🇻🇳
This is one of the main ruins in My Son Sanctuary and continuing on to my story in my previous posts…
Because the Champa people faced threats from the Khmer Empire in Cambodia, other ethnic groups in Vietnam, and even from the Chinese, they needed protection to defend their kingdom.
In the end, though, it was the Vietnamese who gained control of this region in the 11th century and forced the Champa to move south, closer to Nha Trang, although their leaders managed to maintain the temple complex for a couple more centuries.
This is one of the most beautiful site too!

🇻🇳UNESCO Site My Son Sanctuary🇻🇳
🇻🇳The Harmonious Hoi An🇻🇳
The My Son temple complex was built between the 4th century and the 14th century. It was the central worshipping centre for the Champa people who had five kingdoms in the surrounding areas.
The Champa had come from Java in Indonesia and brought with them their Hindu religion. My Son was dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva.
The god Shiva was the bringer of the wishes of the Champa people and the thing they wished for most was fertility. They wanted to grow their population because of the more people they had the stronger they would become.

Leifeng pagoda in the autumn colors
Great time to come to visit Hangzhou! Leifeng pagoda and Xihu are you definitely must see destinations! Let's combine it in a perfect walk ❤️ Come to Leifeng pagoda first and get your tickets. It's on the left from the entrance. Once you get inside it will show you a lovely view of temple from the bottom, it's beautiful already over! Take a stairs up to the basement floor to see the oldest parts of pagoda. Then you can go up by using stairs (around 4th floor) or use elevator to get up. On the top floor you can see great wooden works of local artists. And a lovely all-round terrace with a look of Xihu and surroundings. It's one of the best places to get a top view of the city.
Once you done enjoying the pagoda you can walk to the exit of this location and if it's a lunch or dinner time you can jump at one of the restaurants nearby. I would recommend Ouxiang restaurant. It offers nice local food, typical for Hangzhou and as well as other great Chinese dishes. Stuff is friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately they don't have English menu yet you can use your phone to get a simple translation.
Go further to the street and you will get to the Xihu nearby. I strongly recommend you to take a boat ride, wich is usually around 150rmb/h and have another warming experience watching Pagoda from aside and the lake itself.
Wish you a good weather and have fun around Hangzhou ❤️

Fuente Farola is very underrated!
Next to the Seville cathedral is the Fuente Farola. It is a beautiful plaza that features a fountain ⛲ in the middle. It is located next to other key landmarks like the Palacio Arzobispal so you can visit when touring these major landmarks.
Just across the road you will encounter lots of Seville 🍊 orange trees that make for beautiful photos. You will also see vendors selling their wares and art pieces.

Seville cathedral is absolutely historical!
Seville cathedral is one of the largest churches in the world, and it must be one of the most beautiful! It was consecrated over 500 years ago and is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Inside the cathedral are also the remains of the famous explorer, Christopher Columbus and his son. Entry is 11 euros for adults, and that includes entry to La Giralda too. Spend at least one hour wandering around and viewing the stained glass windows.

A UNIQUE RESTAURANT IN THE CITY OF SOFIA!
Five stars without a doubt. If I could give it 10, I definitely would.
It is an excellent place for trying Bulgarian food while enjoying Bulgarian folk music and dances.
The staff was very attentive and kindly helped us with recommendations.
The food was simply delicious. I tried the goulash, and the beef was extremely well-spiced and tender. We also ordered garlic bread, which was really, really good - I strongly recommend it.
The Bulgarian show was outstanding, with extremely skilled dancers and singers with beautiful voices. All of this made the atmosphere there very special - everybody was happy and having a good time.
I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to visit it again very soon.

Pura Tirta Empul - Bali
Intro - Dating back to 962, Tirta Empul is a temple complex built around a sacred natural stream in Tampaksiring. Sarong-clad tourists and Hindu devotees from all over the island flock to the temple pools to bathe and purify themselves, as well as bring holy water.
Attractions - The entrance to the Tirta Empul sacred spring temple is located far from the main road. In front of the temple there is a large car park, which is always full of tourist vehicles and cars. You can get here by renting a motorbike, self-driving car, or renting a car with a driver to pick you up and back.
Sacred Spring Temple Tirta Empul is one of the busiest holy water temples in Indonesia as well as the Balinese people themselves consider this a sacred temple. The temple has several sacred water springs believed to have been created by Lord Indra and the blessed water can purify those who bathe there.
Behind the bathing pool is the final area of the Tampak Siring Sacred Spring Temple, called jeroan. Most Bali tourists often overlook it because the courtyard or backyard is a quiet place for people to come and pray. The front part of the yard has a large spring providing water for the bathing pools. Spring here is filled with green algae and small fish swimming among the reeds. Behind the stream are large Hindu temples. This part of the temple is quite beautiful, you can stop by and explore quickly. The temples are brightly decorated, contrasting with the white clothes of the Balinese who come here to pray.

ULUN DANU TEMPLE - Bali
Getting There - The best time to visit Pura Ulun Danu Bratan is between 9am and 2pm to avoid afternoon fog. When the fog is falling, it covers the beautiful views of Pura Ulun Danu Bratan and Beratan Bedugul Lake. However, if you want to get a great photo, the best time to visit the temple is at dawn during the rainy season, which lasts from October to April. Ulun Danu Temple is perfect for a daily tour as there are other attractions you can visit after completing the temple tour.
Attractions - Ulun Danu temple was built to worship Goddess Danu. Danu, in Balinese, means lake, while goddess Danu is the queen of water, lakes and rivers. The temple complex includes four sacred shrines. Linga Pura is three stories high, and is a place of worship for Lord Shiva. Pura Puncak Mangu is 11 stories high, and was built to worship the god Vishnu. PuraTeratai Bang is the main temple, and Pura Dalem Purwa was built to worship Sang Hyang Widhi, which is also a place for those who pray for prosperity and happiness.

Sweet Escape to Mt. Fuji Recommendation 🍁🗻
Mount Fuji has been one of the most favorite places to visit in Japan. I had my #solotravel this early November with booking a- 1 Day tour from Tokyo Station pick up. I choose to pick a tour because Mt. Fuji is located quite far from Tokyo & to go from one place to other places it’s quite difficult with public transportation.
🌵Tips: Check the weather forecast before you plan to go in order to grab the great scenery! Also, avoid weekend if you can because it’s really jammed on on the way.
RECOMMENDED PLACES that I went to mesmerize the beauty of Mt. Fuji from different angles:
📍Arakuyama Sengen Park
We need to climb up the stairs around 10-15 minutes to reach the place with temple view. So, don’t wear heels! It’s super worth it to go here. There are some snacks bar & udon restaurants for our hungry stomach.
📍Fuji Kawaguchiko (Lake Kawaguchiko)
From the sideview of lake, we can see Mt. Fuji clearly. You can have a pleasant time to walk here with beautiful landscape.
📍Momiji Corridor Lake Kawaguchi
It’s a walkable distance from Lake Kawaguchi. There are maple trees along the way. There are some souvenir shops as well. There are cafes, restaurants, convenience stores for buying drinks & foods.
It’s really a pleasant time to visit Mt. Fuji in the clear weather and in autumn time🍁🗻 I hope that you will have a good time here!

🇻🇳UNESCO My Son Sanctuary🇻🇳
Roaming the grounds of My Son Sanctuary, so many beautiful ruins around. Some are being rebuilt carefully as they don’t want to destroy or diminish the original ruins of this huge temple. When visitors also come to visit, they are careful not to touch or deface any of the structures. The sanctuary is huge and surrounded by nature, it was really nice to see the structures even in their destructed conditions. A must visit when in Hoi An👍

Beats even the best movie set or theme park
The Roman Forum, located minutes away from the Colosseum is a collection of old ruins from antiquity.
While many consider the forum a side attraction to the Colosseum, the Forum has its own unique charm in that it reflects centuries of Roman Plebian history.
Furthermore, you can get very close to many of the structures and be immersed in the Forum for hours exploring every building and pillar, and still feel you haven't seen enough 🏛.

🇻🇳UNESCO My Son🇻🇳
🇻🇳The Harmonious Hoi An🇻🇳
The name ‘My Son’ means ‘beautiful mountain’ and it’s easy to see how it got its name, with the complex set in moist green jungle beneath a cluster of impressive peaks, the temples, full of history, are carved with the faces of its creators, these are the highlights.
The My Son Sanctuary temples survived centuries of time, they survived territorial wars, and they survived years of neglect. What finally destroyed the grandest of them all was American bombs but thankfully not everything was lost.

Versailles Travel Guide
Versailles Travel Guide
“The palace From the seat of power to a museum of the history of France”
The second must visit place in France.
Don’t miss to check out the The Gardens of Versailles. You can have there a picnic with Champagne & Snacks and Enjoy the Beautiful View as we did.
Since 1979, the Palace of Versailles has been listed as a World Heritage and is one of the greatest achievements in French 17th century art. Louis XIII's old hunting pavilion was transformed and extended by his son, Louis XIV, when he installed the Court and government there in 1682. A succession of kings continued to embellish the Palace up until the French Revolution.
Today the Palace contains 2,300 rooms spread over 63,154 m2.
The Palace of Versailles was the principal residence of the French kings from the time of Louis XIV to Louis XVI. Embellished by several generations of architects, sculptors, decorators and landscape architects, it provided Europe with a model of the ideal royal residence for over a century.
💡Travel Tips:
💡To make the most of your visit at Versailles, plan to spend a full day in the estate. Guided tours allow you to visit otherwise closed rooms and then to directly join free visit routes.
💡Visit during the week:
One of the top ten most visited sites in France, the Château de Versailles gets its biggest crowds on the weekends and Tuesday mornings (it is closed on Mondays). So aim to visit between Wednesday and Friday. The result? Less waiting and a smoother visit around the palace.

🇻🇳Lovely Breakfast Buffet🇻🇳
We looked forward to our breakfast every morning here at the Mulberry Hotel in Hoi An. It was not a huge spread like those other bigger hotels but it was sufficient enough to satisfy our mornings especially with an egg station, variety of bread and continuous flow of coffee and juice.
The good always tasted good and the staff was always very friendly and helpful. Also the breakfast area was never full, plenty of space and located just beside their nice pool. Really recommend staying here and booking with breakfast.

Majestic Historical Gem
Wawel Castle, perched atop a limestone hill in Kraków, Poland, is a historic marvel that spans centuries of architectural styles. Initially built in the 14th century, the castle served as the residence of Polish kings and queens. Its Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque elements reflect the evolving tastes of the ruling elite. The Wawel Cathedral, an integral part of the complex, houses royal tombs and Poland's coronation site. The castle's courtyards, towers, and the Dragon's Den, tied to local folklore, captivate visitors. Today, Wawel Castle stands as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a testament to Poland's rich cultural and historical tapestry.

Beautiful ancient Chinese town
Getting There - Furong ancient town located in Furongzhen City (芙蓉镇). To get there you can easily take a train, railway station is located in 5 km from this sight. The place divided into two areas: inner area and outer area. Outer area is free to visit, inner area requires ticket. The ticket is valid for 3 days, and the price is 108 RMB per person. It also includes watching shows (16:00, 19:30 and 20:30) : two of them is in the same place and the third one in another.
Hotels - many various places to stay in, but if you’re booking hotel with waterfall view, it means that you need to buy a ticket to the inner area as well, and taxi cannot bring you right under the entrance of your hotel (he’ll drop you off at the ticket office, and then you can call to the reception desk of your hotel and ask them to pick you up, because to find yourself the place you need is quite tricky for the first time).
Food & Restaurants - at the first glance you have a big choice of restaurants (all of them Chinese cuisine obviously), but variety of foods in them not really wide. From place to place everything pretty much the same. And prices of course a bit higher than usual. No western food whatsoever (what else you’d expect, lol). One sad aspect is absence of groceries stores. All of them located behind the inner area, and if you’re not leaving near the exit, then it can be quite irritating, especially because they don’t work until 9-10 am. Not much bars in the area as well.
Attractions -
1) Shows: They are free to watch for people from inner area. I didn’t see the one at 16:00, but I saw one at 19:30. It’s not usual show at the same stage all the time, first part starts behind the sitting area and then moves to the stage, after 15 minutes or so the act moves to the next stage (and the whole crowd is moving too, I can’t imagine how dangerous it is during any holiday, because I was there in November where’s no holidays, I anyway almost got injured in the crowd) which is near the first stage. After another 15-20 minutes the act moves to another stage which is in 10 minutes walking and people are racing to the next stage, some of them literally running. I didn’t want to be smashed in the crowd, so I didn’t follow to the third part. Overall impression of the show: not worth going. It might be dangerous, especially for kids.
2) Waterfall: you can get there from both inner and outer areas, there is also a path behind the waterfall, fun to walk there.
3) Road along the mountain.
4) Mmmmmmany photo studios with national costumes for rent.
5) Ferry from one riverside to another (5 minutes ride with nice overall view of the area)
Shopping - variety looking alike souvenir shops, nothing special to the area itself.
