Exquisite Experience, Epicure Restaurant 😋♥️
Epicure Restaurants, France
Located In
112 Rue Du Faubourg Saint-Honore Le Bristol Paris, 75008 Paris France
Not all Three star restaurants are equal.Needless to say, continuity is a major factor and award winning chef Eric Frechon's multi-decade tour as director of culinary operations at Epicure is unrivaled. No detail is missed in the pursuit of perfection. His motto is 'There is no cooking without the finest products.'The bread is made from Heritage grains, grown in the south of France by Mr. Roland Feuillas, and milled in house for absolute quality control. It'called "A Living Bread."The menu consists of signature dishes and seasonal ones.Don't miss the Leeks from ILE DE FRANCE with a tartar of Perle Blanche oysters if available.Other notable menu offerings include the Large Langoustines with orange-mango condiment, and the Saddle of Milk Fed Lamb with herbed gnocchi.Save room for dessert, with the Guatemalan Cocoa Bean nibs with smoked milk foam and cocoa nibs ice cream memorable.Add in a level of service rarely found in today's chaotic restaurant world and you realize what Paradise truly looks like.A Bientot Epicure.
Since this is a three star Michelin restaurant, we were expecting stupendous food and service and ... we were not disappointed at all. I found the waiters extremely attentive and friendly, ensuring our glasses were constantly topped up and our plates were served elegantly.
The food was brilliant, I loved the caviar with mashed potatoes, the prawn with mango salsa and the macaroni with foie gras. The deserts were super refreshing and creative. I never found chocolate and lemon foam presented in such a unique and tasty dish.
The only slight let-down was the implementation of chicken in the last main course. I never usually expect a chef to use chicken as it can be extremely hard to create a unique texture or flavour from chicken breasts or legs. Although it wasn’t bad, it was average (not breathtaking at all).
Overall the meal ended with some coffee and lovely macaroons with everyone on the table content and happy. I would definitely recommended going here for a special occasion or taking a loved one here

Cozy Spot for Tapas, Les Apotres de Pigalle😍
Les Apotres de Pigalle Restaurants, France
Located In
2 rue Germain Pilon, 75018 Paris France
We visited on our first night in Paris and it was such a great experience. The food is delicious, so nice to order lots of things and share. The duck dish is gorgeous, we also got mac&cheese, falafel, burata, ceviche (was salmon that night) and plenty of fresh bread and nice wine. It was all so tasty. The banoffee pie was fantastic.
Mostly the atmosphere and the friendly staff made the experience fantastic. The staff went through each item on the menu at the start so you knew what it was. Would be happy to return whenever we come back to Paris!
I'm so glad we found this bar in the trendy Pigalle district!
We dropped in on our first night in Paris and had a great time. We enjoyed chatting with the friendly owners, and tried various tapas style plates from the menu. Loved everything...especially the truffle mac and cheese. Trust me - order it! Banana dessert was killer too.
We tried to visit again a couple days later, but sadly it was fully booked up for a private event. Will definitely try again next time we are in Paris!
Amazing little restaurant! The food was amazing and the service was even better. Roland (who is one of the owners), was so personable and courteous, I can’t say enough good things about him. He was great at explaining the menu and was very attentive to our needs and wants.
All the food was great. In particular we loved the Mac and cheese, duck and chicken quesadilla.
Next time we visit Paris we will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Dining in Paris, ASPIC Restaurants♥
Located In
24 rue de la Tour D Auvergne, 75009 Paris France
I don't words can truly do justice to how great our evening at ASPIC was, but here goes nothing...
My companion and I arrived punctually for the 19:30 sitting. We were greeted warmly by a friendly host who immediately made us feel at ease and laid the foundations for what we had in store. Immediately the front of house team built a rapport with us through their highly personable interactions.
Shortly thereafter we were presented with our first course, as well as our first wine pairing. Immediately we were satisfied and knew the six dishes to follow would be sublime. The food just kept getting better and better with every dish, with the enjoyment levels building until we were in outright euphoria come the final few dishes. The atmosphere in the small venue reflected this also, we could feel the tables around us starting to become more energised as we built up to the crescendo.
The whole experience felt like a carefully paced and planned journey. Like a fine piece of music, the peaks and troughs were spaced out to perfection. The metronomic replacement of bread (which in itself was perfect) provided the beat, whilst the dishes took the place of choruses. The chefs bringing the food to us directly and explaining passionately what they had created for us bridged the gaps.
Whilst the food took centre stage and was the main takeaway from the evening, the wider experience elevated the evening to perfection levels. ASPIC craft food as art, and distribute it directly to the end recipient, who on the evening in question, was thankfully a very happy me!
Lately, in Paris, finding a taxi has become quite challenging and we needed 2 taxis! Anyway we made it on time, as it was emphasized! The place is small and unassuming, but the meal was excellent. Subtle flavors, refined executions, superb quality of ingredients, notably the langoustines and the pork (pluma). Very good service and a nice chat with the cook completed our experience…however we had even more trouble finding transport to go back, because it had started to rain! After 2 of us managed to grab a passing taxi, the remaining three were contemplating spending the night on the banquettes ! The very nice and helpful manager then went out in the rain and, after a while, came back with a taxi! We were extremely grateful and we left as very satisfied customers!

Mayfair Garden, Indian food with a Parisian😋
Mayfair Garden, Incredible Indian Food in Paris
Located In
An actual Indian, with amazing flavours, and service...in Paris... wow!
We made a last minute decision to go out and cake across Mayfair Garden, partly because of its gluten free offering and had one of the best Indians we have ever had!
Service was just brilliant, decor was tasteful and upmarket and the food...oh the food... was fantastic. We couldn’t decide between the menu choices and there was indeed a number of gluten free options- the staff also happy to help with this.
Would highly recommend- you won’t be disappointed. Already looking forward to the next visit!
Near the end of our stay in Paris, and after much discussion of where to eat after a big day of sight seeing, my wife and I settled on Mayfair Garden near our hotel in the Trocadero neighborhood. And what a delightful choice it turned out to be! Located on a quiet side street, the interior of the restaurant was bright and impeccably clean and welcoming. We knew we were in for a treat when our samosas arrived. They were beautiful and unique, surrounded by chickpeas and onions with a hint of pomegranate, yet they remained unmistakably samosas. The rest of the meal followed that same pattern, with thoughtful and delicious interpretations of classic dishes with a touch of Paris in each. All in all, the best Indian meal I have ever had.
The owner and the wait staff were friendly and attentive. When next we return to Paris we will come back to Mayfair Garden.

BOUTARY RESTAURANT, Greatest Meal In Paris😋♥
Located In
25 rue Mazarine, 75006 Paris France
Paris has so many wonderful spots to try and it’s often hard to choose. Decided on Boutary for a Saturday night dinner with 7 courses. Gregor was our waiter and seriously one of the best of the profession. He speaks 4 languages, and most importantly he really knows the dishes & wines in detail. This spot likes to surprise guests rather than offer ingredients up front, however you can ask to avoid items as you wish. Stop reading here if you like surprises. The apertivos were divine with the second a potato -seaweed butter & cream topped with caviar. Fish courses : Tuna marinated & smoked with passion fruit vinaigrette, lobster in Thai coconut milk, monk fish -4 sauces and a veal dish for the meat course . The desserts were works of art & yummy. Choose the premium wine pairings for a fabulous -fool proof night.
Truly a culinary experience. Choice of five or seven courses paired with wine (or choose your own). We went with the pairing to allow the chef to truly connect us with each course. And, he did not disappoint. We started with Caviar, eating it the traditional way (the back of your hand) and toured through courses that included monk fish, aged beef, each one was great and paired perfectly with the wines. The chef makes an appearance during the dinner, which is always a very special treat. We truly enjoy our culinary experiences, and this one is another great one added to our travels. If you have an opportunity to visit, you will not be disappointed.
I ate here on my last night in Paris. I chose it based on the positive Google reviews. I was seated upstairs with a waiter that spoke excellent English and provided me with an English menu. I ordered the 5 course menu with caviar and premium wine pairings. My waiter thoroughly explained every course and wine pairing. I enjoyed all of the courses, with the exception of the fish course. The flavor was great, but it was under-cooked. The waiter noticed that I didn’t eat all of it and asked me for feedback. He was kind enough to add an additional dessert course and extra glass of wine. The service was excellent! I was very happy, a little drunk, and comfortably full by the end of my meal. It was a great last meal in Paris.

Fantastic Burger Experience, Etait Un Square♥
Il Etait Un Square
Located In
54 rue Corvisart, 75013 Paris France
This place was super good. We didn’t have a reservation so we got there right when it opened ; we were lucky enough to kindly be seated and welcomed in. We speak English but tried our best attempt at French , but we were welcomed in a warm way and made to feel at home. Now, with that all being said, the burgers (cheddar, and Mac) and tartare (gascon) were awesome. The tartare was much better and easier to eat than expected (we were a bit nervous) and would definitely recommend. The creamy cheese (not melted) was to die for and was a specialty for sure. Being from America we thought we’ve had some great burgers but this may top even the best we have at home, give it a try and be kind to the people working , they made our time great and will make yours great too
Myself, wife and son were on a weekend visit to Paris and had seen the positive reviews for Il Etait Un Square on Tripadvisor, so trekked there after visiting the Eiffel Tower. It was about an hour walk (note to self; Use the metro next time), but totally worth the effort.
The minute we walked in we were welcomed with a warm smile and a super-friendly greeting and knew immediately we'd made a great choice. We were given a choice of where to sit and once we were settled were run through the menu with a great explanation of what was on offer. Sadly, our French is appalling but fortunately for us, their English was excellent.
When the food came it was just what we'd hoped for and the only problem we had was that we couldn't finish it! Chicken and beef burgers were excellent, fries tasty and crisp and some nice, fresh salad on the side. What's not to like?
Could have happily stayed and chilled out for a while but a visit to the Louvre was scheduled so we had to leave. As we were paying, our waitress who had obviously finished her shift and was leaving to go home made a point of saying goodbye to us as she left.
Would come back in a heartbeat - but I'd use the metro next time!

Vacation to Disneyland Park😍😍😘❤
Address
1313 Disneyland Dr, Anaheim, CA 92802
Being an avid WDW fan, we chose to try a new park this year because the Halloween party at WDW had been significantly stripped back due to Covid. While Disneyland itself was charming and very walkable, the operations lacked in several areas:
Ticketing: the use of cell phones and paper tickets considerably slows down lines compared to magic bands. Each time we entered there was an issue ranging from devices running out of battery or running out of paper for ticket printing. Each time it added another 5-10 minute delay. Once we had to change turnstiles twice putting us late for a Rise of the Resistance boarding group.
Ride breakdowns: throughout the course of the day, you could watch open attractions going into “temporarily closed” status. Multiple times we waited in 45+ minute lines to have the ride breakdown as we were boarding (Indiana Jones, Roger Rabbit). Nothing was offered to us for the lost time and inconvenience.
Limited food offerings/timed mobile ordering: several kiosks weren’t open and the restaurant menus in PDF showed several more options than available in the app. If you didn’t plan lunch ahead for an hour or more, you couldn’t find anything but popcorn or cookies to eat.
No increased sanitation noticeable: beyond the hand sanitizing stations which were empty by early afternoon, I saw no increased sanitation or social distancing on a ride. None. This was very concerning to us. Masks were not consistently enforced and there were large gaps in areas where compliance was requested, eg She ace mountain has an indoor queue area that took twenty minutes to enter and leave and there were zero cast members or speaker announcements to wear a mask. Indiana Jones had three cast members throughout the queue reminding people to mask up.

Travelodge Harbourfront Singapore
Travelodge is one of the 4 star hotel in Singapore . But during this period , the gym , restaurants and swimming pool are closed due to renovation. But everything was still good. Booked a Sentosa view Twin Room . It has nice view , clean room and convenient location . What I like about this room is the modern looking guest room and the window facing Vivo city, Sentosa, cable cars and sea. Feel like you are having a holiday overseas. The amenities provided was more than enough. Room air conditioned was cold enough for warm humid weather. Service staff was friendly and attentive. If u feel hungry , u can grab some snacks or instant noodles from the vending machine located near the hotel reception or order in food. This hotel is close to Vivo City , Harbourfront Centre mall , Sentosa, Mount Faber Park and Seah Im Food Centre . Two to five minutes walk to bus stop and Harbourfront MRT station . One of my best hotel stay as I can get to explore many famous places of interest, food , the hotel amenities and enjoying the view of the guest room.

Room dining & facilities @ Hotel Royal
Stayed at this hotel few days ago for my workcation. Decided to order a fish & chips and a tomato soup with tea for dinner as I prefer not to dine out due to the large increase in the number of COVID cases. Never expect that the fish & chips tasted so good. The interior layer of the fish & chips was smooth while the exterior was crispy with mayonnaise which what I’m impressed with. The soup was creamy with lots of veggies inside. Nom Nom . The bread bun was hot and soft coated with butter spread . I opted another cup of hot tea which come with a tea pot. It was indeed a enjoyable in room dining meal inside my guest room. Before checking out , I booked a 1 hour swim at this hotel swimming pool. Overall the pool was quite big and ample of space for a swim. There is also a gym but I did not manage to use the gym facilities as I was running out of time. Overall I enjoy my stay .

Three years apart from my girl, we will finally meet again next summer!
Every girl under the lens is a flowing poem. Something soft inside was poked.
This is about life, about passion. An exhibition about tenderness and strength.

Inner Mongolia is epic. That’s the title.
When everyone says “don’t go, it’s out of season” that’s normally a sign that there’s something awesome being hidden away and that is true of Inner Mongolia.
No, the grasslands weren’t green in April- but the lands were empty, like completely empty. That made it perfect for just venturing out and exploring without having to fight your way through crowds.
Oh, and if you’re like me and much prefer the winter vibes and want to escape the heat then there’s no better place.
While you can technically get to Ulanqabu and then hire a driver I would fully recommend renting your own car 🚗
10/10 recommended and will 10/10 come back to camp when the time comes. 🏕

LEARN MORE
Cafes usually do not provide a main food menu but provide drinks and snacks as a menu dish and some also provide live music as entertainment for visitors who come.
The location of the cafe is usually in the vicinity of the office center, sidewalks or other public spaces, which are well decorated and arranged to have a different atmosphere so that it will give a distinct impression to every visitor who comes. An example of a unique cafe is Kafe Kolong Jember which is under the Bedadung river bridge in the city of Jember.
Cafe operations in general are open from morning to night (10.00-22.00) or open from afternoon to early morning (18.00-02.00).
Thus, what distinguishes cafes from other restaurants or places to eat is that they prioritize the entertainment and convenience of visitors and only provide a drink and snack menu.

Mandarin Orchard Singapore
Mandarin Orchard is one of the 5 star hotel in Singapore located right above Mandarin Gallery Mall . It was one of my best memorable hotel stay that I enjoyed the most. Booked a Deluxe Room for one night at this hotel with my family . Upon checking in, they gave us a room upgrade to premier room at level 32 which was almost the highest floor. Once we reached the room, it was so spacious with amazing view from the window . Amenities provided was more than enough. There was a large desk area and sofa bed which I liked the most . Room was clean and well ventilated while aircon temperature was adjustable. Television has many channels from all over the world . The bathroom looks modern and atas that equipped with two sinks and bath robes. Wow our room looked more like living in a MBS hotel despite the fact that we only paid less than $200 due to promotion. At the ground floor is a small shopping mall with some salons, retail outlets and restaurants. But reservation is needed when accessing to gym centre . I managed to get a slot to the gym before going to bed at 9pm and the staff passed me two bottled of mineral water and towels . So kind and generous of them . Quite surprised that the gym has so many exercise equipments which really impressed me. For the swimming pool, we didn’t managed to get a slot. But it’s ok , we really enjoyed our entire stay here.

Bukit Batok nature park is one of the neighbourhood town park with quarry, pond, scenic viewpoints , World War 2 memorial and a playground in this park. I would advise beginners to hike here first . The view is so good that even the block opposite this park still has such great views. Feels like you are in overseas . Love the windy , greenery and zen feeling . This is one of the hidden spot in Singapore with great views and hiking . Location is accessible by public transport at Bukit Batok avenue 2.

Santa Grand (Rest Bugis hotel ) Pool
Did a solo staycation at this hotel during my off day. Booked a Single Room with balcony that costs about $65 during weekdays which was very cheap . Room was considered quite clean . What I like about this room is the balcony which can get to breathe in fresh air while sipping a cup of coffee during a solo staycation. Basic amenities was provided and friendly front desk staff that really satisfied me. Never expect that a budget hotel even has a swimming pool with sun terrace with nice city views. Booked a 1 hour slot at this pool to relax myself. Location close to MRT and Haji Lane . There are also lots of eateries nearby. Overall I am really impressed and enjoyed my entire stay here.

Hotel Grand Central Stayca
Stayed at this hotel during my dad birthday. It is one of the 3 star hotel in Singapore with a rooftop outdoor infinity pool , good breakfast , meeting rooms and gym centre . Quite surprised that the guest room was very spacious and nice city view. Amenities provided was more than enough. Friendly front desk staff. Swimming pool has one of the nicest view where u can get to see Marina Bay Sands, Singapore Flyer and various CBD buildings. Location near to shopping , eateries , convenience store and public transport. Really exceeded any 3 star hotel . Online stated that it is a 3 star hotel. Actually based on my opinion, I think it should be a 4 star hotel instead. Recommended for anyone to come for staycation. Total cost for 1 night for 1 room was $106 with complimentary early check in at 10am and late check out at 1pm. Really worth the price . Those have yet to use the $100 rediscover voucher, u can use it.

Marina Barrage Singapore
Marina Barrage is one of the popular reservoir in Singapore with spectacular views of city skyline and sea from the roof garden. People from all walks of life would visit this place to fly kite, picnic, jogging ,watching sunrise or sunset, photo taking, cycling or enjoy the windy and relaxing environment. Besides that, the reservoir here generates fresh drinking water for our homes . There is a experience centre there located at the ground floor for you to learn more about how distilled sea water turned into fresh water . Entry for both the experience centre and the roof garden are free. A really interesting place to experience. This is a must visit place in Singapore.
