Mallipo Beach: the Cali of Korea

Located on the the west coast of Korea in Taean. Accessible by bus. I took a bus to Taean bus terminal then a cab to the hotel. I arrived late so no more buses running. A cab ride cost me about 30,000 KRW. If you decide to take the bus back to the terminal make sure you check what the times are and plan accordingly. These are rural buses and run a little later sometimes. If you want a cab, I would would recommend catching a cab from the bus stop. After checking in I went to go look at the beach. The tide was low. The side of the beach I was on is the quieter side and the lively side is on the opposite end. The middle section of the beach they have surfing equipment for rent and offer lessons if you want it. They also have paddle boarding. I also saw people riding jet skis and boat. They also have beach markets set up in this section. I think they called this section of the beach “water park”. The opposite end of my hotel is the lively side. They have restaurants, cafes, and a fair like park next to the beach. People shoot fireworks off in this side of the beach. There is also a giant water structure on this end. It is a good photo spot. The fair is located across the beach they have fair games, snacks and a couple rides. You could also rent the two wheeled motor bikes to drive around. 3D2NIGHTS SURFING TRIP IN PHUKET KATA BEACH

After 8 years come back to Phuket- amazing festival surf trip. It was really amazing and unexpected experience! The first day went to night market for food hunting and there’s concert and DJ! Also super surf kata is there, perfect way to learn the basics of surfing and balancing! You should try it! The next day went to surfing , before surfing had a local milk tea Chayen! So niceeee! After that I have rent a surfboard it was just 200thai baht for 1hour. After surfing done, we have walking around the market and have a Padthai! #katabeach #surfing #amazingthailand

📍Canggu, Bali Our first stop in Bali was Canggu. Now, Canggu doesn’t have the best reputation - there is pretty much nothing to do, besides shop in expensive stores, go to expensive restaurants/cafes & watch extremely attractive Australians on the beaches😂 However, I’m not mad about it. The locals here are absolutely some of the friendliest people we’ve met on our travels - so welcoming, so smiley & (as someone who can be quite skeptical of overly friendly people) it actually felt so genuine. Bali Sunsets

The sunsets in Bali have been the one. We've been up and down the west coast from Uluwatu at the bottom and moving up through Kuta, Legian, Double Six, Seminyak, Petitenget, Canggu, Echo, Pantai Munggu, Tanah Lot, Kedungu and Soka. Echo beach has been our favourite so far for the black sand beaches and amazing surf spot, even if you can't surf you can give it a go a bit further down where it isn't busy or just watch as it truly amazing while the sun is going down. #sunset #beach #surfing #chilled #views

Melasti Beach is one of the beautiful beaches in Bali. The location of this beach is very beautiful because it is under a cliff, this beach also has white sand and waves that are big enough for surfing. there you can play in the sand or play in the waves or just sunbathe. I suggest you take care of your children because the waves there are quite big. if you want to enjoy a calm atmosphere you can come there in the morning because there are still few visitors in the morning but if you like crowds then you can come in the afternoon and at the same time enjoy the sunset. the distance is about 40 minutes from the city of Denpasar. happy vacation! #beach #bali #whitesand #surfing

A Place I'd Be Happy to Call Home

I have been to many destinations that made me fall in love with the place to a point where it's hard to bid goodbye. Of all these places, Siargao is the one where I truly saw myself staying longer and considered making it my home for a while. There's so much to explore and the activities would definitely be a hobby more than an experiment, given the chance. I jumped on lakes and rivers, rode a bike and a surf board, and munched on the best tasting dishes in all of my travels. The surfing spots may be the highly-recommended attractions, but do not fail to visit the other sites like Sugba Lagoon and Maasin River as they are both wonderful. #siargao #philippines #surfing

Beautiful beach you might want to consider into your next trip! All of the beaches in Baler are worth checking out: Sabang, Dicasalarin Cove, Diguisit, and many more. Also, aside from their very beautiful and picture perfect beaches and attractions, Baler is also known as one of the best surfing spots in the Philippines. Surf is a pretty consistent activity here all year round so you do not have to worry when you are suppose to go, you can plan in your best time availability! But if you want to go when the best waves are seen, do November to April (Wet Season). Surfing Under Baler Sun

Baler is undoubtedly the best surfing spot in the Philippines. Sabang Beach within the Baler Bay is located at the Pacific side of the archipelago has long pebbled sand beaches and big waves perfect to create big waves suitable for surfing. We packed our bags and drove eastward to Baler for my nephew's birthday. After trying surfing once, the kids wanted to take it up a notch higher by trying out Baler. While most of us are beginner surfer, that didn't stop us. The resort we stayed at, Nalu Surf Camp partnered with locals get naives like us make the most of the experience. We rented surfboards and had instructors give us lessons and patiently guided us through as we try to conquer and ride the waves. It was not all pretty through. We had to fall countless times and had to patiently wait for that perfect wave only to get that perfect moment to stay up and maintain balance on the surf boards. It was definitely an experience worth trying and doing over and over again. It is something that grows into you. So what else are you waiting for? One of those destinations in the province of Aurora is the town of Baler where Sabang Beach is located. Sabang Beach is a two-kilometer strip of gray sand facing East over the Pacific Ocean. Surfing Capital of China (Riyue Bay)

When I mentioned Sanya for the summer, a friend recommended I check out Wanning. Riyue Bay boasts surf-able waves and a cool promenade lined with bars and restaurants overlooking the ocean. We spent 3 days here before heading to Sanya and I wish we had more time to enjoy the beaches. You could fly to Sanya and get a cab from Phoenix Int. airport or you could fly to Bo Ao airport and get a cab to Wanning (This was the cheaper option). Book a hotel near Riyue Bay or Shimei Bay. Cabs are easy and cheap. It rained quite a bit but the showers are short and pass very quickly. The people are wonderful and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. Canggu beach & beachclubs!

Visited canggu bali for a day & started off with brunch at Milk & madu. They serve AMAZING cafe food & i had a pleasant surprise. They had a live band there as well, beautiful ambience. Followed by brunch, we headed to batu bolong beach for some surfing which unexpectedly ended early as we got injured. Not really recommended for surfing due to high reef rocks everywhere. Later on, we went to the lawn & la brisa (beach clubs jumping) to chill and relax for the remaining day. Wanted to catch some nice sunset but bad weather prevented us to catch a good sunset but it was a rather chill day which we all enjoyed. I highly recommend “kaya” for food and drinks by day/night and a cool spot to hangout at in the evening as well. No lie, Houhai is a must see!

My friend and I wanted to find a cute café and stumbled across Houhai Village on Dianping. We had no idea we were going to find a place we would visit a subsequent 3 more times! Houhai is a beautiful little surfer village full of cute boutique stalls and stores, a bustling food street and of course, a beach full of surfers. We spent the whole day there and watched it turn from the quaint village in the afternoon, to the busy dinner spot in the evening and eventually the ultimate beach party at night time. We found Brazilian, Korean, Western and of course great Chinese food there so there is a lot of variety. We also found unique stalls and vendors in the late afternoon that sold cute pins, handmade jewelry and trinkets. I’d highly recommend you that you spend a few nights there in one of the homestays - that’s what I’ll be doing on my next (soon) trip back to Sanya. #sanya #houhai #surfing #beach #brazilian #korean #chinese #burger #tattoo
