New York city New Year's Eve
New York City New Year's Eve Last 2022.
It is really a bucket list to spend the new year's eve on NYC Times square. But you need to be ready, Dress Warm, stay hydrated and No Bathroom inside the crowd. We got inside, near the stage about 12hours before the countdown with no restroom time at all 😱, NYPD wont let you go outside to take a restroom and be back to your place. Once you get out, they wont let you in again and thus the crowd its difficult to be back inside. if your with a child, like me together with my 7yr old child, she wore a diapers so to be sure. but overall experience was all worth it. because of we are early on the scene, we had always has an exposure to the tv cameras, we even got exposures that shown in CNN and worldwide tvs and news! It was all great experience and unforgettable!

Greatfull Night at Akira Back Restauran
Had a wonderful time at Akira Back, had amazing service provided by K. Nonnie. Would recommend coming here for any occasionsGreat food, Excellent service by khun nonny & Khun nam and beautiful atmosphere.
Perfect place for dinner or celebrating special occasion!!We have order a set of omakase and the food are good indeed.
Everything is very delicious. A fusion of Japanese traditional with modern Asian twist Nonny's service is great :)
Every dish has distinctive features and is unique from typical Japanese food -more alike to fusion
Exellent food and service.
Very innovative contemporary food with Korean and Japanese.
Tuna pizza was fair enough to try.
It was happy to see Korean chef and listening story of Akira Back's story.
Interesting combination between Japanese and American cuisine. Grilled dish was cooked to order and remained its original and natural flavor. Dessert here was really worth a try. Staff was prompt in service and explained the dining concept carefully to us upon ordering.

Very place and good restaurant with amazing service, especially Ms.Peach and Ms.Nam have a great service mind I will recommend my friends to visit here. The food is amazing and the service is also really really good. The atmosphere is also nice. Special tanks to khun Nes and khun Nam for serving me and my family today.
Great food, Excellent service by khun nonny & Khun nam and beautiful atmosphere.
Perfect place for dinner or celebrating special occasion!!
Possibly I was having too high expectation. For starters, I’ve ordered salmon, scallop and tuna pizza, tuna pizza is surprising, but the other 2 are not surprising. Most possibly I won’t try again if I come here again. For the beef taco, not surprising too.
For the main, I’ve ordered beef rib eye and black cod. They both are SUPERB. Beef was so juicy and flavoured. The cod is surprising good too.
Last but not least, staff are very attentive
Akira Back has a wonderful 37th floor sky view in marriot hotel with great food. We spent a birthday dinner here with Nes and Nam as our receptionist and waiter. Their services are wonderful and help us took great photos. Would recommend anyout who’s like to have a chill night out to come

Happy meal at Goji Kitchen and Bar In Bangkok
Goji Kitchen +Bar
Great variety of food. Fresh ingredients. Highly skilled chefs in each station, making each dish cooked just the way it should be. We especially liked the grilled lamb chops, river prawns, hotate sashimi, foie gras, and the selection of cheeses.
All staffs provide good service, Especially Khun Rana,Fern and K.Gette 😄 Overall today's food is good. according to the quality here 👍🏻We will come again 😊
Casual and attentive service. Thanks to Khun May and Khun Pin who take good care of us. The only problem is that I wish my stomach had bigger space!
The food is good with a variety. Good management on buffet lines, always fill the trays in time despite many people. The staff are very helpful; especially Khun Natt and Khun May who suggest a must dish for us tonight and ensure our table is empty from piles of finished dishes. Such a wonderful evening! Only one thing, foie gras piece us smaller than what we had last time.
Extraordinary international buffet. Lovely and friendly service for khun Beer and Nong Aum as our services. We would definitely come back for more often.

Staycation at Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon
my plan was to try all of the Accor hotels in Phuket. I started with the Pullman Arcadia, and just keeping coming back again and again. There are so many highlights it's hard to know where to start. This will be a long one, sorry!
Every Member of Staff:
I don't think I've ever seen a General Manager running around the breakfast restaurant picking up rubbish in between chatting to guests, but this was regular sight. Brett's energy must be infectious as all of the staff shared his friendless and passion for making sure everyone has a memorable stay. Albert at breakfast saw me having to work from my laptop so always went out of his way to "start my day off right" with a special glass of champagne or some other treat. Chefs were a regular sight in the restaurants making sure the diners were happy. Housekeeping quickly noticed I only used one of the Nespresso pod varieties, so gave me extra of those. Even the gardeners stopped pruning the flowers for a quick chat.
The Resort:
Stunning. The grounds are lush and quite spread out, so it never feels crowded. There's the main pool at reception, or a quieter pool higher up the hill with the gym, sauna and kids club. Some of the rooms are quite far away from the main reception area and up steep hills, but buggies whisk you around if you want to spare your knees. There's the usual spa, a chillout room with computers and a pool table, and sofas and daybeds everywhere to relax while you enjoy the panoramic views or "work from home".
Rooms:
Ocean rooms are so close to the waves you can go to sleep to the sounds of them crashing on the rocks if you leave your balcony door open, and also close to the main restaurants/spa/bar/pool. This time I had a Grand Deluxe room which was further up the hill but had sweeping views of the beach and coast. All rooms no matter the category are spacious and light, have plenty of TV channels, comfy beds big enough for 4, a bath and separate shower, nespresso machine and balcony.
Food:
The breakfast buffet is still the best I've ever had. We were at the Six Senses Bali recently and its breakfast was no comparison. The focus is on healthy eating but not at the expense of the decedent stuff - you're on holiday after all. There's a wide variety for western and asian tastes (even green and red curries), all fresh and replenished frequently, and even after 1 week I wasn't bored of the spread. Fresh juice cocktails, excellent coffee, a frozen yoghurt machine, bloody mary station, and the pancake and egg chefs were some of the many highlights. Definitely do not miss breakfast.
For dinner there's an italian restaurant on the top level with stunning sunset views that serves quality pasta and pizza, and the main restaurant offers authentic and reasonably-priced local and western alacarte. Black Ginger is 10 mins away by car if you want to venture out for a pricey but excellent Thai meal.

Good place to stay during ur trip to Bangkok
We had a 3 night stay at the Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn In their executive suite.
The hotel is located directly opposite the Sursak sky train station which id a great transport link to access any areas of Bangkok. The station platform had a walkway which crossed above the road and led directly to the third floor of the hotel.
Every request was implemented perfectly and I was able to thoroughly enjoy my stay. Many thanks again to the great service staff at the pool and Mr. Boss at the reception. I’ll definitely come back soon
It was just one stop on the sky train (or 10 mins walk) to the river where we took a boat to Wat Arun temple and the grand palace.
On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the doorman and check in staff. The hotel had a large & impressive lobby and our first Impressions were good.
Better than expectation Excellent breakfast Clean room Good internet, speedy Service mind: very good, politely Very close to the Covid 19 swab hospital You should try by yourself Locating just in front of Sky train in Central Bangkok
Our room on the 28th floor, was a dual aspect corner room, with floor to ceiling windows that gave amazing views over the city. It was well equipped, with a separate office area and furnished beautifully throughout.
The bathroom was absolutely massive, it had a large shower plus a freestanding bathtub situated next to the dual aspect windows.
It was so lovely to soak in the bath in the evening looking at the city lights.
We had breakfast on the 5th floor, which was absolutely amazing!
There was so much choice we hardly knew where to start. The food was lovely and the staff so polite and friendly, we looked forward to breakfast every day.
The 14th floor had a large open area overlooking the city. The gym, bar, restaurant and pool were all located there.
The infinity pool had traditional sun loungers at the end, and along its length, funky rattan pods big enough for two.
We grabbed one of those to relax in.
The Gym was impressive for a hotel gym, very well equipped with top quality machines and loose weights.
We didn’t get to eat at the hotel restaurant so cannot comment on the food there.
We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it !

Memorable moments at the SO/ BANGKOK!!
First time at this hotel – The SO hotel was awesome by every aspect, making my 10 days stay in Bangkok a slice of peace in the heart of this frenetic city.
The hotel oozes with personality orchestrated by a world class staff that goes above and beyond to make your stay memorable, all the way from check in to check out.
Stayed for 2 nights seems not enough, enjoyed the suites so much. Spacious and modern (we choose metal element). If you like high floor then you should choose Water Element. Great service and breakfast. We also enjoyed dinner at So Bangkok with their various items. Quite near to Siam Paragon and Pratunam but it’s located in traffic jam area so need careful with your time plan. There’s vibrant rooftop bar that you could enjoy Bangkok city light.
Stylishly appointed apartments/ rooms (designed over different themes representing the nature elements: Wood, Metal, Water...) , very impressed with the super comfy bed.
Delicious and expansive breakfasts (just keep in mind that weekends can get a bit more crowded but overall things get well managed by a knowledgeable and friendly team).
The lounge on the 25th floor is an interesting place to hang out, especially in the late afternoon to enjoy the complimentary light buffet (free access for guests staying in superior rooms).
The pool/gym area was probably my favourite spot. A relaxation nest offering a stunning view on the city skyline where I enjoyed to end up almost every evening of my stay.
Beautiful hotel, Good location, testy breakfast, the hotel have several type of rooms and I got "Wood theme" of the corner room. It’s very nice with beautiful Lumphini park view that we can run there in the morning. The bed is very comfortable. Also all hotel staffs are friendly, especially So Baiwan is very nice to take care of us. I very happy especially for room upgrading. I was very impressed!
This hotel is extremely well-located, overlooking the Lumpini Park, near the eating/shopping areas of Silom. A stone thrown away from the MRT station (Lumpini) or a 10 min walk to the BTS station (Saladang) from where you can easily reach any place in Bangkok without the hassle of the traffic.
Everything was spotless, definitely on my ‘ Best hotels ever list

Fun to Play with Family in Thailand 👍
In Thailand this is my favorite hotel of choice. Family atmosphere and caring staff. Comfortable and relaxing. Food is excellent and entire Team outstanding! Pool is clean and refreshing, attendants are amazing. Front desk Team is the best, quick, professional and so lovely! The housekeeping staff are so professional....rooms are so clean
One of the best resorts I have stayed and I have been to many. I wrote a legnthy review in the first part of the previous, not knowing I would be asked again and I did not save my previous writing.
The front desk was attentive and ALWAYS professional. Specifically ANNA who took excellent care of me and my son. She understood each and every issue and resolved immediately. She took time out to show my son how to access the hotel's wi-fi on his tablet. She took time out to personally enter information regarding the PCR test to be loaded onto that website. Anytime I came down and if she saw me she ushered me to come to her for assistance. Because she was so helpful, knowledgeable and definitely was a leader I assumed her to be management. Thank you for everything Anna. Additionally, in OASIS - the restaurant in the lobby - Feld, Dunk we the most attentive and fun staff, they not only kept me happy, talked to me and provided excellent service but they are great at what they do. They made me feel SUPER special!
There are a huge green territory, many different swimming pools, a lazy river, slides, playgrounds, trampoline and a kids club.
Near the hotel there are good massage parlors, small cafes and the Terminal Shopping Mall within walking distance.
The staff are very pleasant and always ready to help you.
The food is very good with lots of seafood, grilled meat and deserts.
During this challenging time it’s very hard to travel abroad. We passed several times PCR tests even for a two-year-old baby. And the front office manager, Mr. Phalee was very polite and really helped not only us, but many of the hotel guests to organize all these.Always good service and Following for hygiene standards made us trust and comfortable. Breakfast good quality and full service Extraordinary.
Property: huge and with everything an awesome water play area
Staff: the one person who deserves a big mention is: Ms. ANNA at the reception. She is awesome and deserves a loud thank you to making the start of our trip pleasurable.
Food: Vegetarian Not catered for with love. Really feel left out in this front. Please do something about it.

Staycation at Banyan Tree Bangkok❤️
The location is in the Central Business District of Bangkok.
Horizon Room is very good, large, clean and comfortable, equipped with large sofa in living area.
The working desk is large and comfortable.
Bathroon is tiny space, there is bathtub and shower.
The condition of some equipment such as bathtub was broken.
The fitness area is very large. There are a lot of equipments. The swimming pool on the 21st floor. Its size is quite small for swimming with a few persons.
Breakfast is served as a buffet with a limited of choice either Thai and Western style. The taste is acceptable. Breakfast area is too small comparing with the hotel size and amount of guest. So, the breakfast round has been separated into 3 rounds. In my opinion it is not fair to guest. The hotel should provide more breakfast area for the guest convinience.
The overall service in breakfast is acceptable. I have observed that the foreigners were serviced better than Thai guests. This is the worst point for me in this stay.
What a hospitality! Every employee is very friendly and helpful. They all look up when you pass by, smile and say something nice! We have felt very welcome. We had dinner at Vertigo on the 62nd floor. Wooooow what a view! As a free service, they took and printed a great photo of us! What a surprise! We had plans to go to a museum. Since their service is excellent and the view from our room (47th floor) and the pool (21st floor) is great too, we stayed in the hotel the whole time. We booked one night and loved every minute of it. Very highly recommended
Vertigo Rooftop is great service, lovely staff, great food and great atmosphere. It's great as I have been everytime.
Check in and check out process is slow.
Once again that I had observed the different between Thai and foreigners.
My favourite hotel experience in Thailand yet.
Special thank you to the team at Banyan Tree Bangkok for providing me with such a valuable experience.
What I liked:
The culture of exceptional service.
I especially would like to thank Khun Karn Duty manager for their kind words, help to practise the Thai language and attentiveness in welcoming me to the room. In addition, the kindness and grace of each staff member, from the reception staff to the doormen and staff at the pool, made me feel very welcome. Check-in was smooth, and the late check-out was much appreciated.

Staycation at The Okura Prestige Bangkok⚡
The Okura Prestige is the height of luxury. I travelled with my partner and we absolutely loved the experience. The rooms are very big and we had a beautiful view of the city of Bangkok. The rooms come with so many small touches like a traditional tea leaf set, a night time turn down service with ice and water, a heated toilet seat and Japanese robes. Huge room with superb facilities and an amazing view of the city. arrival in Bangkok before heading to other parts of Thailand and we are so glad we did. The hotel is perfectly located for a first timer in Bangkok, with the BTS Skytrain connected to the hotel giving very quick and air-con public transport to most important sights. Hotel rooms were big, clean and we had a super view on the 30th floor. The bed is very comfortable and we slept (missing jet lag) amazingly from the first night. Breakfast was delicious and varied. Infinity pool on the 25th veranda had awesome views of the city. Service by all staff during our stay was warm and hospitable.
The infinity pool is a nice touch to enjoy a swim at 26 storeys!
The breakfast is great with an extensive selection of continental and Asian dishes. Also the infinity pool looks out onto the whole city and gets plenty of sun.
Every member of staff was so polite and went above and beyond to do everything for us. We are a young couple and most clientele at the hotel is businessmen but we did not feel treated less by the staff. Our only small complaint is that the manager who greeted everyone at breakfast seemed to avoid us. As mentioned we are a young couple and he made us feel slightly inferior by purposefully avoiding us even when the breakfast restaurant did not have many people in it.

Staycation at Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa⚡
Stayed at Merlin Beach for 7 nights. Overall the service and experience was amazing and worth the money.
Checking in we used the hotel taxi service from phuket airport. This is only $20 more than a normal taxi and takes the stress out of pickup with your name on a board and then escorted to the car.
Well laid out with ample place for all types of guests. We were there with our kids and they enjoyed the hotel facilities e.g swimming pool, kids room, kids activities etc.
On arrival we where greeted with smiles and a welcome drink each. Check in was quick and easy.
The room is a 10/10 for cleanliness and modern features for Thailand. Not dated at all. We where in a sea view room which had amazing views. The pool view was also great and would suffice for next time.
Don't listen to the other reviews about the beach. The beach is great and fine and easy to navigate and is safe. Yes at low tide (say post 4pm) the tide goes out and it's a long walk to go for a swim. But you have 3 massive pools you can use. When the tide is out the rock pools are amazing for exploring with hundreds of fish and crabs to look at and explore. When the tide is in the beach is an amazing white sand and th water is crystal clear. The beach had TWO separate massage places that do laundry. One does drinks. These places are amazing and much cheaper than the hotel.
Pool area is great and with 3 pools there is plenty of places to sit. The main pool has a swim up bar and you can also get snacks.
Buffet breakfast was great and had way too many options !!
Only negative is the prices of drinks. Happy hour at the pool bar is 3 to 5 then rum bar at 5 to 7. This is 2 for 1 and makes the prices ok. However compared too thialand in general it's abit expensive.
The concierge is great and can book private cars, tours or whatever you like.
Hotel is about 3KM from Patong / Bangla Street and has frequent shuttle service to the place. The hotel beach has a nice view but can't go in waters, unsafe, unmanned, rocky. Staff were very helpful. Memorable trip, would definitely recommend if you are visiting Phuket for peaceful time.
A heap of taxis wait out the front od the hotel to take you wherever you like. All prices are fixed so no negotiations but also no rip off's. Bangla road is 250 baht taxi and 300 baht tuk tuk away (about 10 mins) All in all this resort is worth the money and in a great location for both relaxing and heading into patong

Recommended Hotel in Bangkok Shopping Area
Checkin was a little manic.
Elevator is very interesting your room card is needed to gain access to your floor and you are unable to go to any other floor other than your room floor and service areas such as pool, restaurant.
Our room was very comfortable with a view of the back streets which gave us an overview of every day life in the streets below.
Pool area was great for just chilling happy hour was between 2 & 4pm daily and offered an assortment of cocktails, wine, beers and soft drinks also a good food menu was provided.
Staff at the pool area were very friendly and helpful.
Location is fantastic for those who love a bargain shop as well as high end shopping can be found in the near by shopping centres.
There is a great choice of food also in the surrounding areas of the hotel a short walk in any direction food can be found.
Breakfast was great a huge selection of food from around the world to please all.
I got the executive club room which came with great benefits (booked directly with the hotel) and access to the club lounge. We spent lovely time in the lounge while enjoying the view. And again staff were good.
And breakfast was splendid.. We had good choices.
Rooms were fine- no complaints. I think the rooms do need some updating in terms of the ac control but nthg to spoil ur sleep or vacation. I didn have to call house keeping for anything much.. most of what I needed was alr in the room and they do make sure to visit the room for regular clean up even if you do not indicate you want the room to be made. This is a plus for me.
Overall I would recommend this hotel to those who just want to pamper themselves a little or simple be in a great city location
We had a wonderful comfortable stay here! Nice breakfast selection, very hospitable hotel staff. Great location, just across from Platinum mall and walking distance to Central World, and Siam Paragon area. 10/10 will definitely stay here again. Good price as well. Spacious room too!

The excellent stay in Carlton Hotel, Bangkok
Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit is a five-star hotel that offers 338 elegant rooms and suites, a choice of renowned dining venues including the signature Cantonese restaurant, Wah Lok, and a chic rooftop bar with panoramic views of the cityscape.
the door man said welcome back to us. When we checked-in the manager Khun Palm recognized us right away and made sure the room amenities are set up as I preferred from last visit. The concierge was really polite and helpful. The service at the lobby bar is also beyond expectation. When I tried the drink and it was too sweet, they noticed it right away and offer to redo and make me a new one. All the staff really pay attention to customers. I am really impressed.
The room is really beautiful and spacious, what I like the most is the Japanese toilet. I will definitely come back to Carlton again when I visit Bangkok. Near a lot of massages and terminal 21 mall that has a great variety of shopping. Special mention to Mr Chang and Mr Art for being such a great host as well as all stuff at carlton hotel for making the checking in and out a breeze.
This hotel is superior to others. Newly built and looks exclusive. Bellboys recognise you upon return and special thanks to K.Palm who's take notes in our profiles for amenities and other requests. Also the Front Office Manager and her staff was giving very good service.
The cooling tower rooftop bar has nice drinks with a great view. Also the dimsum is great at the Chinese restaurant.
U won't regret a stay here ;)

Youth Cultural Center Amerika-mura
Amerika-mura is an area just west of the Shinsaibashi shopping district that has for over 40 years been a well-known center of Japanese youth culture. Within this small area there are over 2,000 stores selling local and imported fashions, cafes, restaurants, bars, and clubs. Everything is centered on Sankaku Koen Park, a triangular concrete plaza and popular local hang-out where young people gather to show off their unique styles and discover the latest trends. Back in the 1960s the area was called Sumiyamachi (literally “Charcoal Shop Town”) and was mainly filled with warehouses, and lumber yards. Then one evening in 1969, a young interior designer named Mariko Higiri was sitting in Sankaku Koen drinking a can of coffee when she had a sudden brainwave. Wouldn’t it be great, she thought, to have a place where people could drink coffee till late at night? She decided to open her own café in a building just across from the park, and the café, called Loop, quickly began to gather young artists, designers, and other creative people. People began to convert the local warehouses into stores selling imported American goods.

Holiday Experience In Osaka Castle
Osaka is one of the main cities in Japan after Tokyo, and is located on the island of Honshu. The city may seem more modern and less traditional like Kyoto, for example, but it's still well worth a visit if you're planning a trip to Japan. Locals known for their hospitality consider their city, Osaka, to be one of the most relaxing cities in Japan. If you are a foodie then visiting Osaka is a great choice as it is one of the best food areas in all of Japan. Apart from culinary delights, you can also explore museums, galleries and amusement parks across the city. Osaka Castle is a symbol of Osaka and one of the largest castles in Japan. Osaka Castle is an important monument representing the great history of the Azuchi-Momoyama period during the sixteenth century. The castle was built in 1583 on the orders of Hideyoshi Toyotomi, one of the most famous unifying warlords in Japanese history. Once inside the castle, you can see a collection of weapons and artwork. There is also an observation deck on the 8th floor, where visitors can enjoy the views and gardens around the castle. Osaka Castle is located within Osaka Castle Park and is very popular to visit during the cherry blossom season.

Nagoya Castle
Nagoya Castle was completed in 1615 by the Shogun, Tokugawa Ieyasu. Topped with golden shachihoko, votive tiger-fish roof devices, and boasting the largest floorspace of any tower keep, Nagoya Castle and its magnificent Hommaru Palace were operated as a military facility. Nagoya Castle was Japan’s first castle to be designated a National Treasure. Even after wartime air raid destruction, it was deemed historically important enough to be designated a National Historic Site. Restoration work being carried out is returning Nagoya Castle to original condition. Most castle buildings were destroyed in the air raids of 1945, including the castle keep and the palace buildings. The current ferro-concrete reconstruction of the castle keep dates from 1959 and - before its closure in May 2018 - contained a modern museum with exhibits about the castle's history. The park surrounding the castle keep features two circles of moats and impressive walls with corner turrets. It becomes an attractive hanami spot during the cherry blossom season which usually peaks in late March or early April.

Jinan on New Year's Day
I have often travelled to Jinan, but I was newly struck by the beauty of the city during this recent trip. It's a big city, it's a crowded city, it's a busy city, but just a stroll away, you could find yourself at the foot of a quiet and majestic hill decorated with ancient statues, or at the bank of a calm tree-lined canal.
In my opinion, the 3 top places to visit in this city are:
1. Huancheng Park and the surrounding old town. The park consists of a network of canals dotted with natural springs and rock features.
2. Daming Lake is the crowning feature of the grand cultural complex in the city center stretching from its banks to Quancheng Square.
3. The final 'must-see' sight is 1000 Buddha Mountain. It's a small mountain to the South of the city, less than 5km from the city center. It's a charming site decorated by '1000' buddha statues, all different, some big, some small, some laughing, some sleeping.

Restaurants, Malghe, Stube.. you have plenty of places to choose from for eating and they all provide a different experience with something in common: amazing food.
Malga Ces (pic 4,5&6) is a great place to start. it’s located on the ski run but can also be accessed by car, foot, and there’s also a cheap local taxi (just in case it’s snowing and you’re afraid to drive).

Flavourz Great Buffet with Great Service😍👌
Located in
No.116 Fuhua San Road, Futian District, Shenzhen 518048 China
Been there on Monday night and normally from Monday to Wednesday (I might be wrong) the speciality is hot pot night and let me just say WOW..
Usually, we don’t get too excited about buffet dinners as the food is normally just average however not here.
I’ll start by describing the hot pot station. As soon as we arrived the staff asked which soup base we wanted, we took clear broth however there were few other options then we walked to the “ hot pot ingredients” station, vast selection of quality cuts of meet, seafood including sea cucumber, shellfish to name a few. Furthermore, to keep things interesting, a chef came to our table and prepared one special noodle to cook in the soup.
Beside that, there was a fish BBQ Station where the chef would cook it for you on the spot, a grilled meats station, pasta and pizza station, Indian corner, sushi and steamed shellfish, we were lucky enough to come during hairy crab season and find it there, salad and cheese bar, Chinese soups ( I tried the double boiled black chicken soup, and it was super yummy). I am sure I have forgotten something, I mean the selection was immense and between my partner and I, we tried pretty much everything and not one thing disappointed us.
Ultimately, the desserts lived up to the standards that we started off with, vast selection of cakes, ice cream, house made chocolate truffle (must try), fruits, Chinese sweet ginger tea, and some other Asian desserts.
The chef at the meat grilling station was very friendly and kept serving us with a big smile. Actually, the entire team was extremely friendly, polite and attentive, especially the AM Bruce.
Situated in the Ritz Carleton, Shenzhen, Flavorz is a top-quality buffet restaurant which has quality foods in a welcoming environment. Each and every time I go there, I am impressed by the selection of dishes as well as the professionalism of the staff.
I usually go for their "Wagyu Steak Night" which offers endless selections of fine meats, and frankly, not at a bad price, given the quality paired with ambiance. The staff are attentive, the restaurant clean, and the food delicious.
In particular, Jordi, the Director of Food and Beverage, is both humble and proud, respectful of his patrons, while also delighted to share with us what I would describe as the best buffet in Shenzhen.
The Ritz Carleton, Shenzhen, pronounces elegance, and within the oasis of Flavorz, you can both see and taste why!

A Great Thanksgiving Day Buffet Dinner😍😋❤️
Located in
1/F, JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an, No.8 Baoxing Road, Bao'an District, Shenzhen 518101 China
Of more than 5,000 restaurants rated by travellers (like you and I)... this is top rated!! What many find very attractive are the remarkable lunch and dinner buffets... which offer one choices based on what you see and smell! This is very important if one is not experienced particularly in Asian and Chinese cuisine. In addition, one can arrange the "pace and timing" of the meal-- be it leisurely to limited by time. If one is more interested in "a la carte" dining--- this too is offered. The kitchen staff as well as those waiting/serving are very well trained and motivated-- and this enhances one's dining experience. All in all. it is an excellent and memorable place to dine.
Excellent service and food! I chose this place to celebrate the anniversary with my girlfriend.
First, staffs are very friendly. From my view, they demonstrated the highest quality of service. Also, It was so surprised to receive a greeting card with signatures from all their team members, and prepare roses after they knew it was our anniversary, sweet and warm! Thanks to William, Louis, Mandy, Lily, etc. (I mean all the staffs, but I can't recall all the names) for the unforgettable experience we had.
Second, food is excellent with various types. Lobster is so delicious, and the Indian lamb curry is also one of my favorite dishes. If they can provide more seafood like oysters and sea urchins, that would be better!
Overall, I would give a 5-star rating to this restaurant. They deserve the name of #1 restaurant in Shenzhen. Can't wait to visit next time
A whole group of us where staying in Shenzhen for Christmas, and we made a decision to have lunch somewhere. Chose Shenzhen Kitchen as it is easy to get there from Shekou.
What a day they turned on - huge range of food both hot and cold, free flow of sparkling and still wine, and a clown to amuse the kids. And service which is hard to find in Shenzhen.
Lovely day, and we will return for a Sunday brunch soon.

The Snow Monkeys of Jigokudani
The Japanese Macaques, more popularly known as the Snow Monkeys, inhabits this park located in the forests of the Jigokudani valley in Yamanouchi.
The monkeys love to gather around this man-made onsen pool and it is really interesting to watch them interact and socialize with each other while soaking in the warm pools.
The best time to visit this place is during winter months, when the whole place will be covered in snow. The walk to the onsen pool is quite a long but very scenic one. It was very enjoyable walking through the forest trees all covered in snow and the scenic river landscape.
