HARBIN Winter Wonderland Ice Festival!
This is a MUST see in winter! Go and enjoy the beauty of intricate ice sculptures. It is really beautiful and worth the money as it is known as the largest ice and snow festival from later December to lat February. If you are living in China, definitely do not miss this. It happens yearly so plan a visit there. I swear, you will never regret it.
The ticket is around 300+ per person depending on which websites, agencies or at the entrance it self. You must book your tickets in advance for sure as there are usually a lot of people there. Don't be surprised at all.
Normally the temperature there is around -15 to -30 degrees celcius so pack warm clothes.
We stayed at a hostel in the city center which is called "Rose Holiday". Very affordable and comfortable. I have their wechat contact so if you're keen just msg me.
You can go to the Ice and Snow World either by didi, taxi or by car.. Pretty easy to get to as it is a famois tourist spot.

Ice to meet you
Getting There - Located in Harbin you’ll find this beautiful little Russian Village as they call it. One can access it by taking the cable car across the river or a taxi to the other side.
There are direction boards to the cable car entrance so it should be easy to find it. Otherwise sit back and relax in a private car.
Attractions - Around the little Russian town “village” you’ll be able to see some snow sculptures and some houses. Walk around late afternoon for some beautiful views with the sunset.
Hotels - Harbin isn’t that big but there are various hotels in the city that one can book. Depending on how far you want to travel to most places. I recommend staying close to the Cathedral.
Food & Restaurants - Local food is worth a try when you are in Harbin. There are western places like McDonald’s and KFC too.

Visiting Harbin in Winter is a must if you are in China. This city is located in the North of the country and host one of the biggest ice festival in the world. the ice sculptures are huge and well designed with details that will blow your mind. Proper gear has to be worn as it is very cold. Better to arrange in advance transportation as it could be very crowded. #christmasgiveaway #harbin #icefestival #snowworld #christmaslights
