Italy the Land of Love & History
The perfect tourist destination, aka Italy!!
Truly my trip to Italy was one of a kind as it held a blend of history which comes in the form of ancient ruins that tell the tales of civilizations that strived to make a mark in the record of time, from the Roman Empire’s colosseum in Rome to the Duomo di Milano (The Catholic church in Milan) and you never get by without the atmosphere of love in Venezia’s gondola going through city of love.

The Venice Of China
Slow living in China 🇨🇳
Welcome to Fenhuang village; also known as Phoenix Ancient City. This place is so calming compared to the buzz of the cities. I couldn’t believe how untouched it seemed, like walking onto a movie set of eighteenth century China! Known as one of China’s most famous ancient villages, definitely add it to the bucket list.
Only a two hour trip from Changsha South station, and it’s so easy to buy train tickets in China using the ##trip_app ! No more awkward ques at a ticket window with google translate (aka the last time I was here)! I wouldn’t be able to get around without it 🚆

Strolling around the Floating City
#europetrip #Venice #Italy
A day is enough to stroll around Venice, Italy, also known as “The Floating City”. Venice is famous for its canals, architecture, bridges and more. You will get to see plenty of gondolas through the city canals. Venetian gondola ride is popular to explore around in Venice, it is an expensive ride. Expenditure in Venice can be quite high, so if you are on a budget travel, I’ll recommend you to stay in the mainland and take bus to reach the floating city.
There are many islands around it, like the famous one Torcello, Burano and Murano. There are various of companies offers tour to these 3 islands. The price is competitive, you may check the price before you book for your tour. If you staying Venice for 2 or more days, I’ll recommend you to explore those islands.
Nice spot to enjoy sunset in Venice
#winhkflight #Sunset #Venice #Italy
Giardini Pubblici of Venice is the largest green space and a nice area to stroll and chill. The garden is wide and has benches, hackberries, trees and more. It is open for public and often will see the local run there. Outside the garden is well paved, easy to walk. I would recommend you to go in the evening and wait for sunset. Between the Giardini Pubblici and Riva dei Sette Martiri is the best place to enjoy sunset because is less crowded. It is definitely a nice place to chill.
I want to travel to Hong Kong to enjoy their sunset and views.
Venice gorgeous city 🇮🇹
#thingstodo
In the last month, I have been one of the beautiful city in Europe , and that is Venice. Venice is located in Italy and this place is known as the floating city as there’s river surrounding the whole city area . I really liked the time spending in here and get relaxed. I have tried different types pizza in the shop which is called Farini. They are delicious. After that, I have tried the famous Gelato over there and I have ordered the taste of pistachio and vanilla.

Venice is one of my favourite city in the world and this place is really beautiful with the river surrounding the whole city. In the recent trip to Venice, I have captured lots of pictures about the boat and gondola on the river . I really liked the stunning view in there and the buildings are also colourful and look historical . It is undeniable that Venice is one of the beautiful city in the world and this place is also known as the floating city. As there river is surrounding the city inside and there’s loads of Gondola Ride you can try in Venice. The buildings are also gorgeous and colourful with the historical architecture style. I really liked being in this city and one of my favourite bridge in Venice is Rialto Bridge. The white colour style structure made it a combination with the river and the sky.

Christmas time in Venice
#2024wish
In last year Christmas, I have spent the time in Venice and celebrating the first Christmas holiday outside my home. I really loved the structure and the style of the building here and I will say those are my favourite building so far that I have seen in my life. They are all colourful and fascinating . The Christmas tree is beautiful with the lights on in the St Mark’s Square.
In 2024, I definitely will go back to Venice and visit there again.

Favourite Trip of 2023 - Venice
Venice has got to be one of my favourite trips of 2023. It was my first time in Venice and I fell in love with this charming, rustic and romantic water town. The architecture was unique, love the many bridges running through the water town and the majestic grand canal. It was so soothing and peaceful for me to be cruising through Venice in the water buses (Vaporettos) though the waters was always busy and bustling. November is a good time to visit Venice with lesser crowds. Love the amazing gelatos and fresh seafood I had in Venice.
2023 Venice was great and I hope to explore new amazing destinations in 2024 with Trip.com, my preferred travel partner (app) that I always go to when planning my next place of travel!

The Must Visit and Must Do in Venice
Perfect Day trip to Venice. * tips* if you are using the one day pass to take the boat taxi remember to validate your ticket when you go onboard * And be sure to lookout for pickpockets as they are rampant around the area! Ok aside from that Venice is such a special and beautiful place- be sure to check the tide level too before coming in case it is flooding~
So here’s the summarized areas to visit for easy reference:
Piazza San Macro- Basillica San Macro which is just beside the Piazza- Moving on to St Patrick Square which is the main area is so beautiful! Be sure to take tonnes of pictures here as well as the Doge Palace featuring the clock tower-Bell Tower they are all nearby on the map so this is the easiest route to conquer all of it.
Next the must visit is also the Library (Libreria Acqua Alta) which is a 10mins walk from the Palace .
Not forgetting the food there is fabulous with very fresh seafood that is not expensive!
You can also opt for a Gondola ride
Start your day early so that you can complete all of this in one day and head back to the city. I left the place by 1730 to catch the train back to Florence :)

Burano perfect day trip from Venice
If you’re heading to Venice and have enough time, I recommend you plan a day trip to Burano. However, Burano is quite touristy too so I highly recommend you to go there in the morning so you have enough time to head back to Venice! I was there in the morning and have the whole Burano to myself.
It was so peaceful and beautiful 🤩 with the rainbow colors painted houses-could be the most colorful island in the entire world!
As you may know, public transport in Venice mainly consists of water buses – the so-called vaporettos.
The only water bus that goes to Burano – and Murano as well – is route 12 which departs from Fondamente Nove (Ft. Nove).
This stop is in the northern part of Venice and a 20-minute walk from St. Mark’s Square.
Do take note of the ferry timing so as not to miss and plan well so that you have sufficient time to return back to venice. I had also took the day pass so I could use the water taxis foe the entire day! #italy #2024wish #2024wish #venice #venicedaytrip
Dreaming about Venice, Italy 🇮🇹
#christmastrip
Had an amazing trip to Italy and Venice turned out to be my favourite city! Known as the City of Canals, Venice has many winding canals, beautiful architectures and bridges! It is a car-free city and is built with many bridges over the canals! Be sure to go on a gondola ride, which offers different views of Venice (the filming location of Spiderman), such an exciting experience with breathtaking views! There are a lot of popular attractions for sightseeing in Venice, including Saint Mark’s Basilica, the Bridge of Sighs, St. Mark’s Square, Doge’s Palace.
Such a dreamy trip to Venice 🇮🇹✨10/10 would love to revisit in the future! 🤍

My favour island in Venice 🇮🇹
Buraro is one of the beautiful island near to Venice. In this place , you can experience lots of wonderful house across the river.
In my recent trip to Venice, I took the boat to Buraro, which took 40mins from Venezia directly. I went to an Italian restaurant to have the cuttlefish risotto and it was delicious. The price is around €15 per person, so I think that’s affordable.
Moreover, the island has lots of gorgeous house and it is the place for you to capture some photos!

Beautiful Alta Acqua Libreria @Venice, Italy
Crowned as the most beautiful bookstore in Venice, Alta Acqua Libreria was created by Luigi Frizzo in early 2000s. This bookstore is hidden so deep inside Venice and it took me awhile to be able to locate this instagrammable medieval-themed bookstore. In here, visitors may find the uniquely arranged books that stacked up like stairs whenever acqua alta phenomenon flooded Venice several times a year.

Venice, the city of love. After a few days there I can totally understand how it got this name. You will find yourself sitting at a cafe on the canals pinching yourself and wondering if this is real. It is truly a magical place, full of love, fun and laughter. Every where you look there are smiles and love was definitely in the air. The food was amazing and the service even better. Venetian Lagoons
I took a day trip to Venice via train from Florence, and since I had very limited time to see the sites, I took a hop-on-hop-off boat tour. The tour has two lines with various stops, and I enjoyed the scenic views from the water and appreciated the audio guide explaining the history of the lagoons and the major landmarks around Venice. I did step off at points to get a better look at Rialto Bridge and St. Mark’s Square and see the little gandolas going down the canals. It may have been worthwhile to stay a night and see the city lit up and the night-scene, but I think 1-2 days in Venice is sufficient to see the main attractions.

St Mark’s Square - Venice, Italy
Commonly also known as Piazza San Marco, is the main square located in the heart of Venice, Italy. It’s one of the most famous & visited attractions in the city, known for its stunning architecture & historical significance.
The square is surrounded by several notable buildings including St. Mark’s Basilica, Doge’s Palace, and the Procuratie Vecchie and Nuove buildings.
St Mark’s Square has played an important role in Venetian history & culture, which served as a gathering place for political rallies, religious festivals and cultural events.
The square is also a famous location to get flooded when the tide gets high, which happened during my trip to Venice. But overall, I would recommend you to visit this square, and explore the nearby buildings, museums and galleries.

Bridge of Sighs - Venice, Italy
The Bridge of Sighs is a famous landmark in Venice, Italy, built in the 17th century.
It connects the Doge's Palace to the city's prison, it was named after the sighs of prisoners who, according to legend, would take one last breath of the free air before being locked up forever.
The bridge is made of white limestone and features beautiful Baroque architecture. Today, it is a popular tourist attraction & symbol of the city's history and culture.
You can buy tickets & cross the bridge when you explore the Doge's Palace, which was once the seat of power in Venice & now houses a museum.
