Sunny Winter @ Piazza Navona 🌞 ❄️
#wecreate
Built in 86BC by Emperor Domitian Piazza Navona@Navona Square is one of the picturesque spot you shouldn’t miss when you’re visiting Rome. You’re free to roam around the square and depending on the season/ holiday, there will be small market and carnival. There is 3 artistic fountains and museum in the square
If you’re thinking to walk directly to the other attraction in Rome by walk:
Pantheon - 5 minutes
Castel Sant’Angelo - 10 minutes
Trevi Fountain - 12 minutes
Vatican City - 17 minutes
The weather is really pleasant and I’ve walked all the way from Roma Termini till Vatican City (I’m not athletic by the way) because I do enjoy the walk and what the city have to offer. Its also safe to walk even as a solo female traveller. Just be aware of your surroundings and not to worry, there is also lot of tourists roaming around.
Tips: Make sure to check ahead if there’s holiday or festive season before going, if you want to visit the museums. But if you prefer less crowd and just want to roam around in the city then its perfect time to visit.

Fun facts 📝 about the Leaning Tower of Pisa:
Fun facts 📝 about the Leaning Tower of Pisa:
1. It was not originally Leaning 📏.
The north side of the tower started titling during construction because of unstable ground underneath it.
2. Galileo Galilei used the tower for experiments.
3. Mussolini (an Italian dictator) tried to “fix” the tower in 1934. Safe to say he was unsuccessful.
4. The tower has survived four earthquakes.
5. You can walk up to the top of the tower and enjoy beautiful views over Pisa. The tower is 56.67 meters tall and there are 251 steps to get to the top.

the Magic and Reality of the Trevi Fountain
The Trevi Fountain. 💙 This was my first time visiting and I was in awe! What a beautiful absolutely magical place! Located in Rome, Italy, it is one of the most famous and iconic fountains in the world. ⛲️
It is featured in many movies and photos, and is often depicted as a serene (exhibit A - the photo which I have shared with you) and romantic spot where visitors can throw coins into the fountain.
The reality of visiting the Trevi Fountain is a little different. Friends had told me it’s SOOO busy. While I thought I was prepared, I could never have imagined just how BUSY it gets. The crowds there were more than I expected. But, then again I can totally understand why.
What to expect: The fountain may be crowded with tourists, busy and noisy, difficult to get a photo with a clear view of the Trevi and can have quite a bit of litter around.
Managing expectations: be prepared for the crowds and hustle and bustle that come with this magical location. The Trevi Fountain remains a must-see place! 🤩🫶🏼The beauty and history of the fountain make it worth the visit. If you want to see it when it’s a little less crowded, try to visit early in the morning or later in the evening when there may be less people around.
Photo tip: work those angles. There were at least another 50 people if not more around when I was taking this photo!

Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II Facts
Sharing some fun and interesting facts about this grand masterpiece - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II:
1. The main entrance is a monument in itself (and guess what I didn’t end up taking a photo with it, whoops…just means I have to go back).
2. Take a look at the floors of this magnificent building - they are truely remarkable and the central octagonal part of the gallery features the coats of arms of 4 Italian cities.
3. The roof of the gallery was completely destroyed during WWII and had to be completely restored.
4. Apparently, McDonald’s hasn’t been welcome here since 2012 (but you can find a chain of it just around the corner outside, which to @__marievi__ and my surprise was packed and had constant queues outside).
5. Did you know there is a gorgeous hotel situated inside the gallery, well there is! For those of you looking to book a special few nights in Milan, this place should definitely be on your radar.

Venice is always a good idea
🎭 W E L C O M E T O V E N I C E 🚤 - Sharing some fun facts I learned about Venice:
1. Venice is shaped like a fish (Yes, you read that right. Don’t believe me - head over to Google and check out the aerial view)!
2. Venice is sinking - yes, I’m sure most of us know this more well known fact, but did you know that the Italian government has been trying to prevent Venice from sinking since 1973.
3. The local population of Venice is lessening by the year. 30 years ago there were 120,000 locals compared the to current 60,000 or so at the moment. Experts say that by 2030 the true locals could actually all disappear. Okay, I think I’ve just convinced myself that I should follow my Grandmother’s Italian roots and move to Venice and become a Venetian.
4. Venetian’s speak their own language that is not considered to be a dialect of Italian.
5. Venice ruled itself for 1,100 years and apparently the island of Crete and Cyprus were also under it’s rule for some time.

Most romantic views in Florence
Behind me you see the Ponte Vecchio - a medieval stone arch bridge that spans the Arno River in Florence, Italy. How picturesque are the views? 💖✨
Some interesting facts about the Ponte Vecchio bridge in Florence:
1. Ponte Vecchio means "old bridge" in Italian.
2. The bridge dates back to 1345, and it was the only bridge across the Arno River to survive World War II.
3. The bridge is lined with charming shops that sell a variety of items. The stores date back to the 14th century when the shops were originally occupied by butchers and fishmongers, but today they are mostly jewellery shops.
4. The bridge also features the Vasari Corridor, which is an elevated passageway. It was built in the 16th century by the architect Giorgio Vasari, which connects the Uffizi Gallery to the Palazzo Pitti.
5. The Ponte Vecchio offers great views of the city, especially at sunset, which is when I went and was lucky to witness the most beautiful sunset. It is definitely a great spot for photography, the bridge's architecture and the River Arno's panoramic views make a great backdrop for pictures don’t you think?

PISA TRAVEL GUIDE
Pisa is so much more than just the Leaning Tower of Pisa - let me show you. Instead of doing just a day trip there from Florence, I decided to do a one night stay and I could not be happier for that decision. In fact, I wish I had enough timer for a two night stay. In the 24 hours I was there I:
- Strolled around the town and came across so much beautiful architecture. (photo 1 and 3 of carousel)
- Visited the Leaning Tower of Pisa in the afternoon on the day I arrived and climbed the tower. Definitely recommend as the views are beautiful. (photo 2 of carousel)
- Stumbled across Il Vecchio Forno (i.e. “The Old Bakery”) and OMG are we happy we did! We ate the most delicious biscuits and Panforte di Pisa (a cake with orange peel, citrus fruit, melon, almond and other spices). (photo 4)
- Explored some more before heading to the most wonderful restaurant for dinner called “Osteria di Culegna Pisa”. It had the most delicious food! Felt like we were eating homemade food. We loved it so much we didn’t leave a crumb on our plates. The food was amazing and I could see why. We met the owner and chef and my goodness she was amazing! Such a fun loving person and so much passion for what she does. (photos 5 and 6)

Spanish Steps @ Piazza di Spagna
I love this photo of Piazza di Spagna taken in Sepia color, a different view of the usual colorful Spanish Steps of Rome.
The steps are beautiful to view and they are also a beautiful panaromic point to get good views over Rome.
Built in Rococo style between year 1723 and 1725 steps that leads this steps to French monastery church. With 135 steps with 3 different terraces.
In the 17th century, the Spanish embassy was located on the square at the stairs's base therefore the name Spanish steps came from.

The castle village towering over the village
Just on the northwestern coast of Sardinia, you’ll find Castelsardo. A village with an old castle towering over it… containing a good part of the village. You’ll find a few bars, a museum, a few lovely viewpoints and a lot of history right between the residences. Quite the climb, but one that’s absolutely worthwhile. #sardinia #italy #italia #castelsardo #castle #sassari

The magic of Lungotevere in Rome: The unmissable places to admire at sunset ❤️
There are many great architectural works that overlook the Tiber, among which many make Rome "great".
The Tiber is the water vein of the capital, for millennia it has told legends and acts as a silent sentinel to the city Caput Mundi.
So if you are in town my advice is to come here at sunset and admire:
- Sant'Angelo castel
- The Church of the Sacred Heart of Suffteggio
- The Palace of Justice, called by the Romans: Palazzaccio
- And finally see the sun go down over the horizon with the Skyline of San Pietro, from Ponte Umberto I.
What is your favorite spot?

Just an hour south of Siena, you'll find this area that might resemble one you've seen in movies like The Gladiator, The English Patient, or Romeo & Juliet. Know as Val d’Orcia, this valley is dense with long, perfect cypress trees roads, and postcard-ish houses on top of too-beautiful-to-be-true hills.
Tip: For an amazing stay, book at Podere Terrapille in Pienza!
Pienza is probably the most known town here, a lovely medieval center that oversees the whole area and awards you with unforgettable panoramas and memories.
The local culinary experience is rich and super yummy. You'll get used to prelacies like cinta senese, pecorino toscano, pici (a type of pasta) or lampredotto. You'll have a hard time picking a restaurant where tasting the genuine Tuscan cuisine, the choice is so vast!
Also, where to sleep? Bed and breakfasts and “poderi” are everywhere, most of them are gifted by enchanted views of the surrounding hills. Consider a visit to the close villages of Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni and San Quirico d’Orcia, as long as insanely beautiful places like Cappella di Vitaleta. A week here will make you feel rejuvenated!

Massage Master Bed with Jacuzzi Shower
We booked this hotel in just one day because it is near in Amalfi ,Positano ,Furore and every Coastline of Campania Region which breaktaking and spectacular views .
We check in at afternoon around 3pm and the owner was so accommodating and assist us inside the room ,she explained to us everything regarding the massage bedroom and the jacuzzi in the bathroom . The room is so neat and clean but one thing our comments there is no any enough choices for the breakfast.
Breakfast is one of my favorite of the day and I would like it a heavy meal but everything was a great experience and I like their candies freebies .
Recommended foe tourist who like to have a limited budget it is nice to stay here .

Best Hotel in Italy
Naples is curiously chaotic and, if I’m honest, a bit dilapidated. It certainly has a ‘lived-in’ look. It’s alive, it’s vibrant, it’s a little bit dirty, it’s busy, and I loved it. I felt like this was how Rome would probably have been 2,000 years ago. There’s a real bustle, and it’s down and dirty.
I won’t say another word about the beauties of the city and its situation, which have been described and praised often. As they say here, “Vedi Napoli e poi muori! — See Naples and die!” One can’t blame the Neapolitan for never wanting to leave his city, nor its poets singing its praises in lofty hyperboles: it would be wonderful even if a few more Vesuviuses were to rise in the neighbourhood.
