Originally built in 1865 for timber exports, it's now a multi-purpose structure offering leisure activities and access to the Busselton Jetty Underwater Observatory. Perth Crown Hotel
This time I stayed about a 15-minute drive from the city center
Crown Hotel
Transportation is very convenient, basically within the City Zone
It's easy to get to Kings Park or the airport
The view from the window is really beautiful
Especially the night view at night
You can see the Swan River winding past
The hotel is connected to a Casino
It's a five-minute walk, very convenient to go and have some fun
There are two buffets in total
I prefer the one inside the Crown building
There are more varieties of dishes and the layout is better
Especially the desserts, they are super delicious
The other one has special ice cream, but the savory food is more ordinary
It's semi-outdoor and a bit sunny
The room unboxing is really beautiful to the core
There is a bathtub and a separate shower space
The bed is on the harder side, it doesn't collapse when you sleep on it, very comfortable
Next time I come to Perth, it will be my first choice❤️
Let's take a look at the kangaroo with the most photogenic smile.
Smiling Kangaroo A tiny one that looks very cute and photogenic when smiling
But from behind, it really looks like a mouse with a long tail
We were eating with 😂 all around us
Many people ride bicycles on the island
But it's really hot and sunny
We chose the bus
To walk to the lighthouse
The seascape is very beautiful, with a blue-green gradient
Some people are swimming, fishing, and picnicking in the sea
Quite comfortable
The lobster burgers on Rottnest Island are delicious
Just be careful of the crows 🐦⬛
They are very smart
If you're not careful, your things might be snatched away
Taking a boat trip here is a very nice experience
Lovely Busselton Jetty Train Ride
The very relax and fun train ride at Busselton Jetty, Perth. It is 1.8meter long and it is said to be the longest wooden structure in the Southern Hemisphere. Busselton jetty is also the best spot to see the sun set while enjoying your dinner. The open space parking is free of charge and hence the seaside has became a good picnic spot for family.

Perth | Fabulous Coffee Roaster in Swan Valley
The Swan Valley vineyard area is popular for locals and tourists visiting Perth. However a good coffee is equally important to start the day.
The valley is about 30 minutes drive from Perth city center. In the spring and summer days, it is best to get there early to avoid the afternoon heat and having breakfast there is a perfect way to start the day.
Not far into the valley is a great roaster called Koffee Works .
As soon as you walk in to the roaster , you will smell the wonderful scent all around. Koffee Works is not only a coffee place , it also runs classes about beans, and have free coffee tastings. Visitors will be able to try three kinds of coffee of their choice. The baristas / guides are friendly and knowledgeable. They will explain everything about hair beans, as well as try to understand the taste preferences of their guests.
The gift shop sells both coffee beans, tea and gifts, while the cafe serves all the wonderful coffee and breakfast food options. Plenty of seats are available indoor and outdoor.

Perth | Romantic Blue Boat House
One of the most popular places to take photos in Perth is definitely the Blue Boat House . It is about 50 meter from the Mounts Bay Road, at the southwestern corner of Kings Park and the University of Western Australia.
There are 2 easy ways to get there. Driving is the simplest and the nearest parking space is about 500 m before the Boat House. Parking is free and it is easy to walk along the path by the Swan River to reach the boat house. It is also possible to take the Green Bus 950 or 995 from Perth city center.
The best time for photo is at sunset on a clear day as the sky turns to an amazing pink and orange. On weekends, it is quite a popular spot and there could be many locals and tourists lining up just before sunset. Everyone will take 1-2 minutes to take photos and videos of this beautiful place.
There is also a statue just 50m away to commemorate the Crawley Baths swimming competition that took place at the site from 1914-64.

Perth | A Leisurely Walk at in downtown Perth and Elizabeth Quay
There are so many beautiful buildings in the Perth downtown area to explore and definitely it requires one day to explore.
A good place to start is at the Perth Station or the Street Mall, then moving on to London Court - Elizabeth Quay -Bell Tower - St George’s Anglican Cathedral- St Mary’s Cathedral and back to Perth Station. There are many parking lots also in the downtown area and the weekend rates is very reasonable ( less than Aud $10) for one day. The one we parked at was CCP Citiplace which is connected to the Perth Station and the street shopping mall.
Aside from shopping, we thought that Elizabeth Quay was particularly beautiful . The view of the Elizabeth Quay is just wonderful with lots of space for sitting down and sipping a coffee. There is often summer music and events taking place . Children can also enjoy playing in the water fountain.
One block away is the Bell Tower, and old Court House. The garden is particularly beautiful and we saw many couples taking their wedding photos.
My favorite buildings were the two cathedrals - St George Anglican Cathedral and St Mary Cathedral ( catholic). Both were built in the 19th Century, while St Mary’s has gone through 2 expansion and reopened in 2009.
Starting in early afternoon with lunch near the shopping mall, then taking in all the sights and walking in a loop is very relaxing and definitely will fall in love with the city! ❤️

Perth | Stunning view of Matagarup Bridge at City View Cafe
The Matagarup Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that perches over the Swan River on the eastern part of Perth and is definitely a must see while visiting the city. The design looks much like a roller coaster and is a great photo spot from either side of the river. One of the best location to see and walk across the bridge is definitely from the Opus Stadium.
Parking is free at the stadium on non- event day, and is a short 3 minutes walk through the park to the bridge. There is even zipline on the bridge for those seeking some adrenaline rush!
The City View Cafe is also a good place to be included in the itinerary while at the stadium. It is located just in front of water front park and has uninterrupted windows facing the river. It serves meals from 7am to 3pm daily and is a very affordable restaurant with delicious food for breakfast and lunch. So, if the weather is too hot outside, this cafe is a perfect place to grab a bite or a cold drink and enjoy the view.

At the 2011 census, Jurien Bay had a population of 1,507,[8] which represented over one-third of the total population of the Shire of Dandaragan and an increase of over 300 people over the 2006 Census population of 1,175.[9] It was surveyed within the Moore region, which includes five local council areas to the north of Perth with a population of 14,038, and has grown consistently over recent years.[10]
The coastline around Jurien Bay was first known to Europeans in the 17th century. In 1801–03, an expedition under the command of Nicolas Baudin sailed along the Western Australian coast. Louis de Freycinet, a cartographic surveyor on the expedition, named Jurien Bay after Charles Marie Jurien (1763–1836) of the French naval administration. The area was visited by a number of English explorers from 1822 onwards.[2] The bay was first surveyed by Captain James Harding, the harbourmaster of Fremantle, in 1865, with a more extensive survey made by Staff Commander W. E. Archdeacon R.N. in 1875. -𝚠𝚒𝚔𝚒

The Streets of Perth😎Shafto Lane!🍻
📍Yagan Square
📍Shafto Lane
📍Murray Street
📍North Bridge
📍Hay Street
All of these streets, square and lanes are a must see when going around the city of lights!
One post can't fit them all but here's some of my snaps during the day and night while I go around and about.
These #streetsofperth photo series are as well taken on different days and times to see the picturesque in every moment.
I have not been around and about lately but will sure to take more as I go about my day. 😎🥰
One of my fave is the Shafto Lane where beers and burgers and some asian cuisine as well makes the lane. It was my second time to go around that corner but Im pretty sure I havent seen all and definitely havent tried all. Will be back for sure. This lane is always open until about 5-7pm and 9-10pm on fridays.
🍻🫣Barrat Lane- Shafto Lane links Hay and Murray Streets. It was originally called Barratt Lane, named after Enoch Pearson Barratt, a convict who established Western Australia's first nursery.
In December 1929 the City of Perth resolved to rename Barratt Lane to Shafto Lane. The renaming recognised Thomas Alfred Shafto, who was a City of Perth councillor for twelve years, a failed mayoral candidate and owner of the Shaftsbury Hotel and Shaftsbury Theatre.-wiki

Kalamunda National Park 😎 Bibbulmun Track!!
📌Rocky Pool, Bibbulmun Track, Kalamunda National Park, Piesse Brook WA
Accessed by rugged, looped bush walk, this track is edged by rocks and popular for swimming.
🥾5 km loop, a bit difficult hike
👀 wildflife
The trail visits the natural swimming hole known as Rocky Pool, once a popular swimming destination for locals in the 1930s. The walk is steep, loose and challenging in places, offering spectacular hill and valley views as a reward for hikers.
There is a car park at the end of Spring Road, Kalamunda, at the start point of the trail.
The trail passes Piesse Brook, following the Bibbulmun Track for part of the way. There are three different trail markers for this track: blue triangular markers, Shire of Kalamunda signage, and the Bibbulmun Track waugal markers. -trails wa website
Trail Notes:
Leave the car park and head in a Northerly direction.
1. At the T- junction take the left fork and walk uphill.
2. Ignore a track to the left and continue on the main track.
3. At the T junction take the right fork and cross a small water course.
4. At this point, leave the main track and take a branch to the right. The point is indicated by a sign and a large cut log to the right of the track. This is the most distant point from the start of the walk.
5. The descent here is loose and stony, and crosses a rocky water course with a rock formation resembling a ram’s head.
6. A divergence in the track. In winter, due to the flow of water, it is necessary to deviate to the left through a grove of saplings. The track is indistinct but generally follows the creek line. Look for a blue marker on a dark Red Gum.
7. A bridge across the water course, directly under a high tension power line.
8. Leave the power line and veer right on a well made track following Shire of Kalamunda walk trail signs.
9. Rocky Pool, a spectacular pool with large granite boulders. There is water here for most of the summer.
10. The Bibbulmun Track joins the track from the left.
11. Turn right off the formed road, following the Bibbulmun Track markers. The turn is further indicated by a trail marker on a large post on the left of the road.
12. The Bibbulmun Track turns left and heads up the hill. Leave the Bibbulmun Track here, cross the water course to the right.
13. After crossing the water course, turn left. A Shire of Kalamunda walk sign on a tree directs you to the left, back to the start point.-trails wa website city of kalamunda

Perth Streets 😎🤩 Hey, It's Hay Street 😁🤭
The Hay Street is a major road through the central business district of the city of lights. A 7.6km street that stretches through the suburbs of east perth, west perth and subiaco.
A subway under the Fremantle railway line was constructed in the early 1900s, replaced when the railway was moved underground through Subiaco in 1999. From that point it becomes Underwood Avenue through Jolimont, Floreat (past Perry Lakes) and ends in Swanbourne. -wiki
A photograph of the Hay Street pedestrian mall taken in the early 1980s was used as the cover art for Perth-based psychedelic rock band Pond's 2017 album The Weather. -wiki

Fremantle Markets - Perth, Australia
Fremantle Markets is a vibrant & historical market in Fremantle, a port city of Perth, Australia. It’s one of the most popular attractions in the region & has been a busting hub of activity for over a century.
Fremantle Markets is established back in the 1897, when the State Government acknowledged the need for a central market. Now, the market is divided into different sections - Food Stalls, Fresh Produce, Handcrafted Goods & Gifts.

Its not just about my love of coffee! Its about #bratwurst , it's a German sausage made from pork, "The name is derived from the Old High German Brätwurst, from brät-, finely chopped meat, and Wurst, sausage, although in modern German it is often associated with the verb braten, to pan fry or roast.[1] Beef and veal are usually incorporated amongst a blend often including pork."

This beach spot is perfect for snorkelling! We unfortunately didn’t have snorkel gear but we saw lots of people snorkelling and a sting ray appeared in the water! There are lots of little beaches along this stretch of beach which is what I love most about it because you can find your own little cove of beach to sit in.
