The first one is the Sevilla Twin Hanging Bridge. It connects Barangays Poblacion and Calinga-an of Sevilla. It is located about 22 kilometers away from Tagbilaran City. It was reopened last July 7, 2023. We visited in 2019. Just a short stop here during our day tour in the area.
There is a small shop at the other side of the bridge to buy souvenirs.

Lapu-Lapu and Magellan Shrine
The Mactan Shrine, located on Mactan Island, just off the coast of Cebu City, is a must-see for everyone interested in Philippine history. It commemorates the Battle of Mactan that took place in 1521 between the Spanish and the Visayan (central Philippines) native people, along with paintings and plaques about that battle, it also contains two other important shrines - the Lapu Lapu Shrine and the Magellan Shrine.
Although Magellan is now regarded by many Filipino historians as the "enemy" who was killed by Lapu Lapu, Magellan is still remembered as the person who brought Christianity to the Philippines (commemorated by Magellan's Cross Memorial in Cebu City) and as the commander of the fleet which achieved the first ever circumnavigation of the earth.

The Taj Mahal of Cebu
This is the Temple of Leah, a Roman-inspired architectural temple located in Barangay Busan in Cebu City, Philippines.
The story behind this temple is fascinating. Teodorico Soriano Adarna had the temple built for his late wife Leah Albino Adarna, the grandmother of Filipina actress Ellen Adarna.
According to the actress, the temple was not built to be a tourist spot but a storage for her grandmother's things. But since the view from up there is nice, they made it open for public.
There's nothing much to do here, this can be a quick stop when visiting Cebu.

A Chinese Vibe in Cebu
Taoist Temple is one of the most visited tourist destinations in Cebu City. It was built in 1972 by the Chinese community of Cebu. It is the center of the Taoism religion in the city but open for general public from 8am to 5pm.
The temple exhibits Chinese style architecture. It is situated around three hundred meters high above sea level, that first-time travellers find it hard to reach. The best time to visit the temple is on Wednesdays as one can catch the rituals of the followers.
I honestly felt I was in China when I visited this temple.

Fun Trek to the Top of Cebu!🇵🇭
#timetotravel
This is Osmena Peak in Cebu and it is one of the most famous trekking sites in Cebu as it is not that hard to trek which is prefect for beginners. From the jump off point to the view point it won't even take you an hour. Just go on your own pace. This is the reason why I said that this is a fun trekking because the trail isn't even that hard plus the scenic views are breathtaking too. Entrance Fee: 30 pesos per head which you have to pay at the hiker's center.
It is really worth it especially if you are going on a nice day and even better during sunrise or sunset! It was cloudy when were were there so I suggest to really check the weather report before hand. Enjoy!

A Massive Mall in Cebu 🇵🇭
#timetotravel
We have been to this mall several times whenever we visited Cebu and there is always something new added in the mall. It is not just large but it has got a playground on top of the mall for the kids to enjoy themselves while there is also a deck that views the ocean and the mountain behind for the adults to enjoy. We really love to just sit on the deck and feel the breeze of the ocean. Just like any other malls, there are a lot of cafes, restaurants, clothes shops and everything you may need is in this mall.

A Serene Place to Visit in Cebu🇵🇭

This temple was built by Filipino- Chinese community in Cebu City in 1972. It gives this peaceful and relaxing vibe as soon as you enter the place. It is one of the popular tourist attractions while being in Cebu so we went and checked it out as well. While this temple is open to the public I hope everyone can observe proper etiquette while being inside. The landscapes and the intricate architecture of the structures are really beautiful. Since this is on top of a hill, be prepared to climb up and long flight of stairs. Enjoy your visit!

A Wonderful Beach Resort in Cebu🇵🇭
#timetotravel
We have been to Bluewaters Maribago and we always loved the service and the amenities. It doesn't belong to luxury resorts but it isn't cheap as well, more so on the mid scale prices of resorts in Lapu Lapu. The landscapes, the ambiance and the overall atmosphere of the resort is just nice. You can truly relax and chill here while you are in cebu. Their staff are also friendly and accommodating. Our hotel room is lovely as well, it is simple but you have everything that you need. Enjoy your stay!

Exploring beaches in Dalaguete, Cebu!
#timetotravel
I am from Cebu and I never thought that Dalaguete has beautiful beaches. As we explore Casay Dalaguete where the popular beach park is, we thought why not explore the whole town and see what we are going to find. We were riding our motorbike around and found this other side of the beach park which is free to use. When we arrived at this place only fishermen were there. I guess, this is fishermen area. It's a very secluded place in Dalaguete we just asked the locals where are the other access to the beach. And Yes! this place is amazing.. It's peaceful! I would suggest to ride around Dalaguete to explore it better.

5 star hotels are not within the budget? Then worry not. You can still experience a 5 star service for a day if you avail a day pass at Plantation Bay Resort and Spa in Cebu. Incredible resort to enjoy a day because it literally has everything in it. We had the best day here as they offer different actvities such as riding a bike, kayaking, wall climbing, archery and even golf. There are more but we never had time to play with them as we also enjoyed their lagoons and their private beach. The Temple of Leah in Cebu, Philippines, is a testament to the undying love of a man for his beloved wife. Built by Teodorico Adarna in honor of his late wife Leah Albino-Adarna, the temple is a symbol of a husband's everlasting affection.
The temple is filled with artifacts and memorabilia that recall the couple's life together, from pictures to furniture. It is also home to a series of statues of Leah, ranging from a life-size bronze to a marble creation that stands two stories tall.
The grand temple is built on the top of a hill, providing visitors with spectacular views of the city of Cebu. The gardens on the grounds are carefully maintained, and the structure is a popular destination for wedding photos.

Treat yourself with Unlimited samgyeopsal
I should say they have the best beef quality! 👌
I was literally pigging myself out and savoring every bit of what I paid for this lunch treat. Gangnam Unlimited is located along Wilson st., Lahug and they are open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. every day. For non-pork eater it might be a bummer to not enjoy the unlimited meat options, but I tell you their beef is more than enough to satisfy my samgyeopsal cravings. And, they have lots of side dishes and unlimited ice tea as drinks. It's definitely worth a try! 🍽️ #cebu #goodfoods #samgyeopsal
Comfy hotel in the middle of Cebu city
You'll find this hotel along Wilson st., Cebu city. It has got a convenient location with a few food establishments around it. It's also not hard to find since most jeepney route go around the area, or you can always book a ride/taxi. Aside from it's location, it's also quite budget friendly and with modern touch. I'd just like to say that their breakfast buffet could be better, say more non-pork options or other food options in general. It was quite limited and underwhelming. Nevertheless, me and my son had a comfortable stay. #trip #cebu #cebuphilippines
