Hidden Gems of Tuscany
As a lover of picturesque landscapes and charming towns, my trip to Tuscany was an absolute dream come true. Tuscany is a region in central Italy known for its rolling hills, vineyards, and historic cities. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the timeless beauty of this place.
The first stop on my itinerary was the enchanting town of San Gimignano. With its medieval towers and cobblestone streets, it felt like stepping back in time. I recommend strolling through the town's main square, Piazza della Cisterna, and indulging in delicious gelato while admiring the stunning panoramic views.
Another highlight was the town of Siena, famous for its traditional horse race, the Palio. The vibrant energy during the race was infectious, and I couldn't help but cheer on the competing neighborhoods. Don't forget to explore the Cathedral of Siena, a magnificent Gothic masterpiece filled with intricate details.
For a taste of the Tuscan countryside, I ventured to the Val d'Orcia. The rolling hills dotted with cypress trees and picturesque villages like Montalcino and Pienza made for postcard-worthy scenes at every turn. I highly recommend visiting a local winery and savoring the renowned Brunello di Montalcino wine.
Speaking from personal experience, I advise exploring the lesser-known hilltop town of Montepulciano. Its Renaissance architecture and intimate atmosphere provide an authentic Tuscan experience. Be sure to sample the famous Vino Nobile wine and enjoy the breathtaking views from the town's highest point.
To truly immerse yourself in Tuscany's natural beauty, a visit to the Maremma region is a must. Here, you can explore the Parco Naturale della Maremma, a pristine coastal park offering stunning beaches, hiking trails, and wildlife sightings. Don't miss the Alberese beach, where you can relax in tranquility.
In conclusion, Tuscany offers a plethora of rich experiences for every traveler. From exploring charming towns to indulging in world-class wine and embracing the serenity of its countryside, this region has it all. Immerse yourself in the Tuscan way of life and let this enchanting destination steal a piece of your heart. #Tuscany #HiddenGems #CharmingVillages #WineTasting #BreathtakingViews

Wonderful Village of Panicale
Panicale is a wonderful village from the 12th century in between Umbria and Tuscany. Less than thousand people live here, but in the summer month it becomes a lively place with some nice restaurants and bars.
The square in the old town is beautiful and walking trough the old streets and the church makes you feel you travelled in time.
🚘 You have to come by car, the closest train station (20km) is Chiusi.

When in… Florence
Most Memorable Moment: Driving up the winding dirt roads, past the cattle fields, vineyards, and olive groves, taking in the incredible views of the rolling hills of Tuscany. This area is truly exquisite with castles dating back over hundreds of years including The Castello Nipozanno dating back to the year 1000. Of course, the wines are amazing, but also learning about the rich history of the castles if you choose to participate in the tours.

STORMY DAYS 🌈
SWIPE for a panoramic rainbow shot of Florence ! That day, the weather was a bit crazy and we had all the kind of weather in a hour 🙈 From the beam of light over the Duomo to the epic 10-second rainbow, it was quite hard to capture all these elements in one shot, so here’s the best I could get ! Hope you like the mood !

THIS IS TUSCANY 🇮🇹
Spent the past two days exploring the region of Tuscany and literally felt in love with it ! From its incredible landscapes made of wide hills and cypress trees to its historical cities with beautiful architecture, this is definitely a place to visit when in Italy ! Thanks to @airbnb, I was lucky enough to stay in a farmhouse (shot n°3) close to the main photography spots, nice accommodations and very helpful owners ! BTW, do you prefer landscapes or cityscapes ?

Just an hour south of Siena, you'll find this area that might resemble one you've seen in movies like The Gladiator, The English Patient, or Romeo & Juliet. Know as Val d’Orcia, this valley is dense with long, perfect cypress trees roads, and postcard-ish houses on top of too-beautiful-to-be-true hills.
Tip: For an amazing stay, book at Podere Terrapille in Pienza!
Pienza is probably the most known town here, a lovely medieval center that oversees the whole area and awards you with unforgettable panoramas and memories.
The local culinary experience is rich and super yummy. You'll get used to prelacies like cinta senese, pecorino toscano, pici (a type of pasta) or lampredotto. You'll have a hard time picking a restaurant where tasting the genuine Tuscan cuisine, the choice is so vast!
Also, where to sleep? Bed and breakfasts and “poderi” are everywhere, most of them are gifted by enchanted views of the surrounding hills. Consider a visit to the close villages of Montepulciano, Bagno Vignoni and San Quirico d’Orcia, as long as insanely beautiful places like Cappella di Vitaleta. A week here will make you feel rejuvenated!

Located 2.5 hrs away from Rome or 3.5 hrs away from Florence is a hidden gem so therapeutic that I could have easily stayed for hours. Cascate del Mulino is a beauty to behold! These natural hot springs stay at a comfortable temperature of 37.5 degrees Celcius (99.5 F). I did this as a day trip from Rome, leaving at 5am with my rental car. The goal was to actually leave at 4am for sunrise but I overslept 😣.⠀⠀ ⠀
Get here early to avoid the crowd. A lot of people make the mistake of calling this place "Terme di Saturnia" but that's actually the name of a nearby hotel about 4 mins away. If you come for sunrise, there's a good chance you'll have this place to yourself for an hour or so. If you come late morning to midday, these hot springs will start to look like a waterpark with all the people here. By the time I started recording this video, some people had already started getting in the pools but luckily I managed to snap photos without anyone in the springs.⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
On the left side of this abandoned house, you can easily climb up to the stream that's supplying the waterfall and swim around in the pools up there (highly recommend it!).⠀⠀ ⠀
Make sure to bring water shoes as there are a bunch of little pebbles in the water and of course a waterproof seal for your phone. There isn't anywhere to change but in or near your car in the car park. Your skin will be super dry afterward so have lotion handy with you. I was told after my visit that there are shower stalls nearby but I didn't notice any when I was there.⠀⠀ ⠀
The best part is that Cascate del Mulino is completely FREE and open 24 hours a day!!

#pisa #italy pisa is a a place in #tuscany famous for the leaning tower. one of the great masterpieces. the tower is leaned because of the soft base not properly managed and after construction it leaned approximately 5.5 degrees. then it was supported with some remedial measures and the angle reduced to approximately 3.9 degrees. A worth visiting place 🥰

#florence is the most famous city in #tuscany area of #italy . Here you can see the typical architecture of the italian peninsula. There are many bridges, churches, few towers and amazing atmosphere that is traditional for the country. Enjoy my pictures!
