Trip Moment Recommendations
I love Singapore! 🇸🇬
Visiting Singapore was an unforgettable experience. I have been there twice and I can’t wait to return again. I fell in love from the moment I arrived. I was captivated by its culture, stunning architecture and delicious food.
One of the famous spots that I visited on my trips were Gardens by the Bay both day and night, Marina Bay Sands, Chinatown, little India, the jewel terminal, and spots around the city centre.
As a foreigner I found the public transportation system very easy to move around and reach all these places. Absolutely recommend it!
Singapore truly offers something for everyone. I cannot wait to return and discover even more of this fascinating city.

Third HK Disneyland Trip
#timetotravel As the title says, it's my 3rd trip in HK Disneyland and I really like going here. I repeated the shows and rides I went to the first 2 times. This time, I tried the new ones: Iron Man Experience and Antman & The Wasp Nano Battle. My all time fave ride is Mystic Manor and as for the show, it's The Festival of The Lion King.
The greatest part of this trip now is the fireworks and castle display called Momentus. It's a spectacular show and quite unforgettable. The audience were all in awe and kept saying "Wow" out loud.

Taipei, a true world city! 🏙️ ☕️ 🍲
This was my second time in Taiwan and a chance for me to rediscover one of my favourite cities, Taipei. There is something so special about Taipei, it’s so modern and developed but still steeped in history throughout it’s many districts. I stayed near the Taipei stadium and mainly used Ubers / walking to get around, as much as I love the metro I find Taipei is a city I want to see as I move around.
I started with a hike up Elephant mountain to see the stunning cityscape before it got too hot, it’s easy to get to by metro, bus and uber (for uber put in the arabica coffee shop as the destination to be dropped off right at the start of the trail)
Taipei 101 is the true hub of the modern city and it is surrounded by malls, coffee shops and restaurants at it’s base. Some of the more famous beef noodle places have very long wait times so get there early to avoid disappointment.
For the evenings head to the various night markets for food, beer and arcade style games! They are about $2 a try but they are super fun and the vendors are very friendly, you can try and negotiate for a better prize if you’re lucky!
There are lots of museums and galleries to check out during the hottest parts of the day, I really enjoyed the fine art museum and really enjoyed the variations of the temporary exhibits.

72 hours in Busan, a seaside metropolis 🏝️
Busan is South Korea’s second biggest city and a nice change of pace from the bustling capital, Seoul. Just 2.5 hours away on the high speed train it offers a great combination of city life and beach side relaxation. The HSR journey costs about $80 return and there’s enough to keep you busy for 2/3 days, we did it to break up our 10 days in Seoul and it was totally worth it!
The city has lots of shopping centers and department stores and also little streets of independant clothes shops, it is also not as busy as Seoul so I found it much easier to shop here!
There are lots of food streets with the usual mix of Korean BBQ, fried chicken and hotpot - there are less chains than in Seoul so lots more chances for authentic Korean food.
We spent a day exploring the shops and department stores then took a day at the infamous Haeundae beach then went for a late brunch before getting the train back to Seoul. It was so nice to take a break from Seoul and see a more relaxed side of daily life here in Korea, I’d really recommend trying it out!

Seoul is good for the soul! 🇰🇷
Seoul is a perfect stop for any city lover, it is one of the most exciting cities in Asia and has something for everyone. Spending five days there was enough to take in the main sights of the city and have time to visit the Demilitarized zone an hour north of the city. Staying in the Itaewon district it is easy to access the city by metro, staying in that area gives you plenty of food and drink options.
It’s easy to get to Seoul from the main airport and you can pick up a travel card that offers discounts for tourists, the staff are helpful and speak english but the machines only accept cash so be prepared (If you don’t have cash there is a bank in the train terminal)
The city has lots of museums, galleries and historical places to visit and it’s worth doing them early as the city attracts many tourists. I did all the sites around opening time and had more comfort inside as they were not so busy, it’s also better if you’re wanting to take photos as you go along.
The metro system is great but gets very busy in peak hours, so it’s good to have uber as a back up!
For food Korean BBQ and Korean fried chicken is essential, along with street food at the main shopping streets in the evening. You can try everything from oreo churros to deep fried squid.

Roaming Seoul: Exploring Soul of SoKor 🥰

During my trip to Seoul, South Korea, I had an amazing time exploring the city and immersing myself in its culture. Here are some recommendations and tips based on my personal experience:

6. Experience a Hanbok: Rent a hanbok (traditional Korean attire) and walk around Gyeongbokgung Palace or Bukchon Hanok Village. It's a fantastic way to embrace Korean culture and capture memorable photos.
7. Attend a Traditional Performance: Check out Nanta or a traditional Korean music and dance performance like B-boy Kung Festival. These shows offer a glimpse into Korea's rich performing arts scene.

Stunning Supertrees at night✨
Gardens by the Bay is a must-visit on your trip to Singapore. The attraction is an incredible blend of nature, creativity and innovation. The landscapes are breathtaking and captivating from every perspective of the complex.
I totally recommend to visit the spot both day and night because the panoramic view and ambiance are completely different.
The amazing Supertrees come alive at night offering an amazing light show that they are absolutely magical. I really loved it!
This place definitely exceeded my expectations in every sense. Don’t hesitate to visit it on your trip, it will give you an unforgettable experience!

Chinese countryside life
Fujian tulou are traditional circular communal dwellings in China's Fujian province. These UNESCO World Heritage sites offer a glimpse into the unique lifestyle of the Hakka people. Primarily built between the 15th and 20th centuries, tulou served as fortified homes, providing safety and fostering community bonds. They often house multiple families and include features like a central courtyard, living quarters, and storage areas. While tourism has increased, some tulou continue to be inhabited, blending tradition with modern influences.

Elephant mud bath
One of the things I really wanted to do in Thailand was to go to an elephant sanctuary. I had seen pictures of other people doing this and I was determined to do it. Luckily for me I was heading to Chaing Mai anyway and this area is known for its elephant sanctuaries.
The break down is. Interact with the elephants, touch and talk to, play with etc. Next feed them bananas, can put directly into the mouth and the elephants really like this. Then you make a vitamin bowl to feed them, this is a mixture of various fruits into a mush which you feed them. Next is the most fun, mud bath and cleaning. Get in a mud pool and get dirty! Splash mud and clean them down. The elephants REALLY enjoyed this part a lot.
You can also buy some products made from elephant dung. The costs involved here are extraordinarily high, and they get no government funding, so please help.

Hong Kong, not just Disneyland
Feels like traveling to another busy metropolitan city in Asia? Hong Kong is listed as one of top five for doing business in Asia, ranking in number two after Singapore. When you travel to Hong Kong you can see how developed their business infrastructure is.
Mainly people here speak in Cantonese, one of the Chinese dialects. Not everyone here is able to speak the general mandarin. The locals will appreciate it more if you just speak in English instead of trying to speak in broken Cantonese/Chinese.
I love Hong Kong for their food varieties. There are few of my favorites such as the famous Dim sum, Egg Waffles, Macaroni Soup and Egg Toast Breakfast (I go to Australian Dairy Company), Pineapple Bun or called Polo Bun (my favorite is at Kam Wah, to order together with their HK french toast) and of course their signature HK Milk Tea.
Hong Kong also has a unique style of residency buildings (apartments) that is quite different from another place. I took a short taxi trip to Kowloon area and the results are amazing.
Don’t worry about commuting in Hong Kong , the train system (called MTR) can connect you from the airport all the way to downtown, even to Disneyland. Get ready to take some walks around Hong Kong and keep yourself hydrated and well rested as sometimes the walk can be tiring since some of the terrain is uphill.

Shinobazu Pond is located in the Tokyo and near the Ueno Park.
Here is a peaceful pond where ducks and other birds live. You can enjoy this place especially by renting a small paddle boat. You can take a tour in this pond, which is considered quite large. Rental paddle boat prices are very affordable (500 yen per hour).
Especially if you come in July and August, you can see the lotus flowers bloom.

A bustling hive of night time snacking 🥢🍡🍢
Myeong-Dong street is the perfect place to experience street food, night time shopping and street performers in Seoul. Take exit 6 or 7 from Myeongdong Station and snake your way around the streets.
The streets are lined with skincare shops, clothes shops and restaurants on the upper floors - down the middle of the streets are a collection of street venders selling everything from deep fried oreos and homemade lemonade to fried chicken and seafood. Prices start from around $2 and run up to $20 for some of the really big portions.
There are also restaurants of every cuisine on the higher floors if you don’t want street food.
There are also lots of malls at the ends of the streets if you want something more western with AC and wifi.
It’s the perfect place to experience the hustle and bustle of the city’s nightlife and get a true taste of Seoul.

A fascinating glimpse into Korean palaces
The national palace museum of Korea is located at the start of the Gyeongbokgung palace complex. The museum is open daily and the entry is free, you could take a look at the outside of the palace and do this museum without paying.
The museum helps you understand the history of palaces and royalty within Korea with stunning exhibitions to illustrate the history.
You can learn about the traditional clothing, religious ceremonies and royal heirachy within the exhibitions.
In the basement of the museum is a gift shop and a cafe, the cafe has lots of books and interactive exhibits you can use as you eat and drink.
Overall this is a great free museum if you want a brief overview of the history of this fascinating country.

A never ending palace of wonder 🏰 🤩
The Gyeongbokgung palace is without a doubt the biggest palace complex I’ve seen in my life. The sprawling palace is close to Gyeongbokgung station and is very easily accessible.
The main palace is centered around big gravel squares that help you take in the sheer scale, then as you move through the complex it opens up into stunning greenery and smaller buildings.
The detail within these buildings is mind blowing, the roofs in particular are stunning.
There is a small entrance fee but it’s worth it, you can pay in person or use a multi lingual self serve machine.

An incredible day at Tokyo DisneySea 🏰🎢
If you’re a fan of Disney or theme parks then a day at Tokyo DisneySea is essential if you’re in the city. It’s made up of lots of themed worlds centred around a huge man made lake. Each area has different rides, food and experiences to match the theme.
Entry is around $60 and it opens at 9am, it can get very busy very fast so it’s best to get in the lines before it opens. Head for the biggest ride as soon as it’s
open to beat the queues, even by 10am the big rides all had a minimum queue of an hour!
However If you plan in advance you can manage to do everything in one day, download the app ahead of time too. On the app you can buy fast pass tickets for around $5-10 per person per ride. You can book one ride per hour so if you strategise it well you can do all the big rides for around $40 each which is worth it to avoid the queues
Also one or two of the rides to single rider options, so I’d you just want to try the rides and you’re not too worried about riding with friends this will save you a lot of time!
Overall the park is stunning and visually one of the more polished Disney parks, the worlds are so immersive and detailed you get the true escapism you want.
However if you’re travelling with small children who want to see the characters this isn’t the park for you, it’s best to do the other Tokyo Disney. Character interactions here are minimal and VERY busy.

The Amazon in Singapore!
#singaporetrip
Here's one for all the adventure movie lovers: you can live your own Amazon Jungle Cruise fantasy right here in Singapore at River Wonders (formerly River Safari). The experience was fun, enriching!
River Wonders is 1 of 4 parks at Mandai Wildlife Reserve. While most flock here to see the Pandas, one should never miss the boat ride through an Amazon-themed tropical river.
At SGD5 per person for a ride, the 10-15 minute ride brings visitors through mangroves and rainforests where many unique animals can be spotted - capybaras, flamingos, guanacos, and much more. These animals are native to the South American rainforests, so one might never get to see them in person if not for River Wonders.
Tips:
1. Be prepared for a splash! You might get a bit wet when the boat slides down slopes.
2. Go in the morning or later afternoon when the sun is not glaring.
3. Tickets are SGD37.80, SGD42 for non-residents
Look forward to exotic fish, electric eels, giant otters, manatees and even anacondas as well! Much recommended to come here for a day of adventures.

Around the world in Bird Paradise 🦅
#singaporetrip
For those who dream of going around the world, but don't have the time - Bird Paradise Singapore makes an awesome substitute. Recently opened in May, this 17ha park is the largest in Asia and stars over 3,500 birds of more than 400 species - some looking like your wildest imagination!
The key highlights here are the 8 themed aviaries:
1. Heart of Africa
2. Wings of Asia
3. Crimson Wetlands
4. Amazonian Jewels
5. Songs of the Forest
6. Mysterious Papua
7. Australian Outback
8. Lory Loft
Fun fact: if you're wondering where Antarctica is, head to Penguin Cove near the entrance!
Each aviary was stunning - full of surprises. My favorite was Wings of Asia - fans of Bali, you'll feel right at home because there's a mini Gate of Heaven and Tegallalang Rice Terrace! The species of birds were wonderful to explore. Think again if you feel you know birds. Apart from exploring birds from around the world, this place offers many F&B options and activities for kids.
Overall, a must-do when in Singapore (even locals)! You're bound to have tons of fun and learning.
Tickets at SGD48 adults, SGD33 kids.

Exploring SG's new Bird Paradise
#singaporetrip
I had an amazing experience at the brand new Bird Paradise located in Mandai Wildlife Reserve. The old Jurong Bird Park has a sentimental place in my heart, but Bird Paradise exceeded my expectations - it was spectacular!
Recently opened on May 8, this 17ha park is the largest of its kind in Asia, featuring over 3,500 birds from more than 400 species - so expect all kinds of feathered friends that you've never seen before!
There are 8 walk-through aviaries, each with a geographical theme of its own, which I'll share mo about in a separate post. Here are some of the highlights:
- Elevated Canopy (Heart of Africa)
- Bird Feeding (from SGD8, at stipulated timings)
- Iconic Waterfall to be spotted!
- Exotic hornbills
- Dining with penguins at Penguin Cove (lunch buffet at SGD48 for adults, SGD28 for children)
Overall, it was a brilliant day. This experience isn't just for bird watchers - everyone will enjoy this, especially families and children (lots of playgrounds and even a water park!). Tickets start at SGD48 for adults, SGD33 for children, and SGD20 for seniors. Do not miss this!

Hiroshima Peace Park, a beautiful tribute.
Hiroshima was devastated by the first atomic bomb and the city has become a focal point for the global peace movement.
The Hiroshima peace park is situated at the epicentre of the bomb blast and has become a place of salvation for those seeking to understand what happened that day.
The peace dome building remains as it stood after the blast, the iconic dome sitting as one of the only things that remain from 1945 Hiroshima.
The park itself has numerous memorials throughout and of course the main peace museum.
It’s worth going early to avoid crowds and queues at the various memorials and museum

Lose yourself in a magical bamboo forest
There’s a strong possibility that you’ve seen this bamboo forest on TV, in a movie or on social media. It’s an iconic feature of Kyoto and draws big crowds all day long.
There are a few bamboo corridors that link the various temples and waterways in this beautiful town.
It’s the perfect place for photos and to relax, it’s a tranquil place compared to the bustle of Kyoto city.
it’s best to get there early to avoid the crowds as it gets very busy and can be hard to get photos. Its easily accessible by taxi and bus and it’s also the final stop on one of the Kyoto tram lines.
We got to the bamboo around 7AM and had most of the areas to ourselves. As we were leaving to see the temples around 7:30 it had started to get very busy.
After the bamboo you can explore the local town and temples, there are lots of places to eat but they all open around 9:30/10AM

Shinta Mani Angkor 🇰🇭✨
Shinta Mani Angkor is one of my favorite hotels of all time. The design, aesthetic, service, decor, ambience are all simply stunning. When we got to the hotel, we were welcomed with a glass of Rosé! Talk about being fancy! They even upgraded us to a better room. The service is top notch and breakfast very unique as we had it on a swing! (Swipe through the pictures!).
I honestly don’t think there’s a single person who can say anything negative about this place because it’s pretty much perfection. The staff would leave us mini cakes every night when we got back from dinner!
As we wanted to try out the food scene in Siem Reap, we didn’t dine in the hotel (apart from breakfast) however we did visit the Bensley Bar which was amazing! Another perk of staying at this hotel is the proximity to down town which is walking distance. You can find a ton of restaurants, cafes, massage parlors and shopping in the old town.

The Greenest Hotel 🥇🍃💚✨
Park royal on Pickering is the greenest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. If you take a glimpse of the hotel, you’ll see what I mean. It’s definitely one of a kind with its vertical gardens and has won several awards such as the World’s leading green city hotel at the World Travel awards. It’s also been voted Asia’s leading green hotel for six consecutive years! Additionally, the hotel is also certified BCA Green Mark Platinum, Singapore's highest green rating.
Since this is meant to be a luxury business hotel, the rooms are definitely designed and catered for mostly business travel. The breakfast spread is huge though! We managed to try out their Lime restaurant as well as the Pool bar which were amazing! The hotel also has a huge gym overlooking the pool (which I did not make use off!😂).
The infinity pool with the panoramic view is the icing on the cake and every Instagrammers dream! From the pool looking out, it truly feels like you’re enveloped in greenery. I’ve also managed to attend a few weddings at this venue and the food, service & hospitality has been wonderful.

Incredibly LOW price extravaganza in airport
Just before Gate 34 in terminal 2 you’ll discover a hidden TREASURE among the ridiculously priced airport restaurants.

"Unveiling the Riches of Ottoman Heritage"
My travel experience in Turkey was nothing short of captivating. From the vibrant streets of Istanbul to the breathtaking landscapes of Cappadocia, this country has so much to offer. Istanbul, with its rich history and bustling atmosphere, left me in awe. Exploring the iconic Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque was an unforgettable experience, immersing me in the beauty of Byzantine and Ottoman architecture.
Venturing into Cappadocia was like stepping into a fairytale. The otherworldly rock formations and hot air balloon rides at sunrise created a mesmerizing landscape that felt truly magical. The ancient ruins of Ephesus and the surreal Pamukkale with its terraced thermal pools were testament to Turkey's incredible historical heritage.
Beyond the sights, the warmth and hospitality of the Turkish people stood out. From indulging in delicious kebabs and baklava to sipping Turkish tea in charming cafes, I savored every moment of the culinary delights.
Turkey's diverse blend of cultures, landscapes, and historical treasures left an indelible mark on me. It's a country that seamlessly blends the old and the new, offering a captivating journey for any traveler. I cannot wait to return and uncover more of Turkey's hidden gems.

It's possible. It really is, as long as you stay on the promenade side. It's quite a long walk but the view of Kowloon side is beautiful. You also get to see many people chilling, biking, jogging, walking, taking pictures, and playing with their kids or dogs.

Prasat Muang Sing Historical Park
Located in Kanchanaburi, Thailand's largest province, is the site of Mueang Sing historical park.
Getting There - it's best to drive there since it is located in the countryside around a 25 minute drive from Kanchanaburi city. However, there is a rural railway station nearby.
Attractions - The main attraction of the site is the two temples, dating back over 1000 years. It is rare to find such old historical sites in Thailand.
Food & Restaurants - There are some cafe's located on site and there are more shops currently under construction.
Facilities - There is ample parking on site and a clean public toilet.
My personal review of the historical park is that it is what every tourist imagines when travelling to South East Asia. The temple ruins are located in a jungle area and have become overgrown with trees which plays up to the imagery often depicted in western tv and film. The site is not busy and you have a lot of freedom to walk around and explore and take photographs with very few people in the background. The gardens of the site are well maintained and it's evident that the site is well taken care of.#temple #thailand #kanchanaburi #asia
