Wander Himalayan Trekking Angkor Wat a breathtaking masterpiece
Best time to go to Angkor Watt is definitely early morning. I got myself three days pass which cost $35. Every day I was waking up before 5 AM, packing my breakfast, getting dressed and riding by bicycle from Siem Reap towards the temple. It took me about 35 minutes to get there from the city centre. The weather is cool in the morning and the ride is very pleasant. Sunrise starts at around 6AM. By the time I was near the lake, it was a getting bright and I could see the sun slowly rising above the temple. There are definitely less people compare to daytime but still there are some tourists to watch this breathtaking show. After the sunrise when the gates are open you can walk around the temple before it gets too crowded and hot. Make sure your clothes covers up your shoulders and knees otherwise you will need to buy sarongs at the nearby shops. There are lots of eateries at the territory of the temple, so you can take a break at the hottest time of the day there. #cambodia #siemreap #trip #angkorwattemple#sunrise
Sabara Restaurant 🍽️🍝🍕🍟🥗🍷🍹🍸
Sabara restaurant offers all kind of meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Yet, I missed eating lunch there during my stay at Sabara resort.
Breakfast there is fine 👍. There are both Asian and European dishes, coffee and some other drinks.
Whereas dinner is nice 👍. I rate 8/10 ⭐️. I chose to eat at the outside seats so that I can enjoy fresh are and the little sound from cocktails bars at the pool. I ordered both Europe and Asian foods as well as cocktails. Some food taste weird but it’s also delicious, whereas cocktails are really nice and they put it in the jar 🏺 ( so interesting).

Bayon Temple_Angkor Thom 🇰🇭
Bayon temple is located at Angkor Thom complex, next to Ta Prohm temple, around 12 km from Siem Reap town.
Bayon temple has no fence, yet there are two gates left until this century , one at the North and other one at the South. Each gate cost 1.5 km from the central of temple.
Bayon temple architecture is different from others like Angkor Wat , Ta Prohm or Banteay Srey temple.
Both temple and the gates are designed with multitude of giant stone faces. You will notice each stone faces smiling down at you from every direction.
There are unique photo opportunities at this temple , and tourists guide can help point out where to get the best shots. I regret that I missed this opportunity because I brought little kids with me during the visit, that was why I have less time here.

Ta Prohm Temple_in Tomb Rider Movie
Ta Prohm temple is one of the most popular temple in Siem Reap province. Visitors never miss this place because they want to capture some photos like in Tomb Rider movie.
This temple is 13km from Siem Reap town. It’s located near Bayon temple too. The temple was built by king Jayavarman VII. According to the history, this temple was built as a Buddhist monastery and university. 12,500 people lived there, including nearly 20 high priests and over 600 dancers.
Over centuries, this temple was enveloped by the jungle. As you can see, giant trees had grown on the temple. Some part are broken, however this place is so amazing. Once I explored, I really enjoy the cold weather here.

Another one off my bucket list…Angkor Wat!
We woke up very early to catch the beautiful sunrise at majestic Angkor Wat. Measuring 162.6 hectares, it is the largest religious structure in the world. Originally constructed as a Hindu temple for the Khmer Empire by King Suryavarman II during the 12th century, it was gradually transformed into a Buddhist temple towards the end of the century and now described as a "Hindu-Buddhist" temple. #angkorwat #siemreap #cambodiatrip
Lovely stay in Siem Reap, Cambodia
We had a lovely 3 nights stay in Two Seasons Hotel in Siem Reap. The hotel is relatively new, very clean, quiet and the room is spacious. The rooftop pool was gorgeous with views of Siem Reap below. Staff were all very friendly and the restaurant serves delicious breakfast and offers dining throughout the day and night all at very reasonable prices. The location is perfect as it’s a only a few minutes walk to Pub Street and it’s on a quiet street.#siemreap #Cambodia

Siem Reap
#siemreap Siem Reap is a charming city in Cambodia that is famous for its ancient temples, especially Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. I visited Siem Reap for a week and I had an amazing time exploring its rich culture, history and nature.
I started my trip with a sunrise visit to Angkor Wat, which was a breathtaking sight. The temple was built in the 12th century and is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It has stunning carvings of scenes from Hindu epics and mythology. I also visited other temples in the Angkor Archaeological Park, such as Bayon, Ta Prohm and Banteay Srei. Each temple had its own unique style and beauty. I learned a lot about the Khmer civilization and its achievements from my guide.
Besides the temples, I also enjoyed other activities in Siem Reap, such as taking a boat ride on the Tonle Sap lake, visiting the Angkor National Museum, shopping at the night market, watching a traditional dance show, and tasting the local cuisine. I especially liked the amok fish, a curry dish cooked in banana leaves. I also met some friendly locals and fellow travelers who shared their stories and tips with me.
I was very impressed by the quality of service, safety, cleanliness, friendliness and satisfaction in Siem Reap. I would give it a 5-star rating. The people were very hospitable and helpful. The hotels were comfortable and affordable. The transportation was convenient and cheap. The food was delicious and diverse. The attractions were well-maintained and accessible.
The only downside of Siem Reap was that it was very crowded and hot during the peak season. I would advise anyone who wants to visit Siem Reap to avoid the months of November to February and to bring sunscreen, hat and water. I would also recommend booking the tickets and tours in advance to avoid long queues and scams.
In conclusion, Siem Reap is a wonderful place to visit for anyone who loves history, culture and nature. It has something for everyone and it will leave you with unforgettable memories. Thank you for reading my review and I hope you will have a great time in Siem Reap
Angkor Wat: A Timeless Marvel 🇰🇭
Angkor Wat, Cambodia's crown jewel, is an architectural masterpiece that transcends time and leaves an indelible mark on all who visit. As I approached the temple complex, its sheer grandeur and intricate design took my breath away.
The iconic silhouette of Angkor Wat against the sunrise is a sight that words can hardly do justice. The interplay of light and shadow on the ancient stone walls, adorned with intricate carvings, created a mesmerizing visual symphony.
Exploring the temple's labyrinthine corridors and chambers felt like embarking on a journey through history. The bas-reliefs, depicting epic tales from Hindu mythology and the Khmer Empire's history, were nothing short of awe-inspiring.
Climbing to the summit of the central tower offered a panoramic view of the surrounding jungle and the sprawling temple complex. It was a serene and humbling experience.
Angkor Wat's spiritual resonance, evident in the devotion of both tourists and local worshippers, added a unique dimension to my visit. The sense of timelessness that envelops this sacred site is palpable.
Angkor Wat is not merely a temple; it's a testament to human ingenuity and devotion. It's a place where the past converges with the present, inviting us to contemplate the enduring legacy of an ancient civilization. A visit here is a journey through time and a spiritual awakening that leaves an indelible mark on the soul.

Best BREAKFAST Cafe in Siem Reap ✨🇰🇭🔥
This is the best breakfast I’ve ever had in a while, it is located right in the middle of the town of Siem Reap, they have reasonable prices on their menu and you’ll be server by their friendly and accommodating staff. The food on the picture tastes good as it looks on the picture, we had this on our last day in Siem Reap just before going to the airport, please don’t miss this cafe, I’m sure you’ll love it too. Just beside this cafe is a man with no hands selling books and other souvenirs, I would highly recommend you visit him too, he lost arms for fighting the Khmer Rouge. Let me know when you visit here, okay? Enjoy. 😉🩵

Incredible Siem Reap Cambodia ✨😍🇰🇭🙌🏼
I have recently traveled to Siem Reap Cambodia and explored Angkor Wat and other incredible stunning temples, such as Ta Prohm Temple (Tomb Raider) honestly, I have never ever seen as stunning temples as the ones in Cambodia, it is highly recommended. 🙌🏼 I also went to the biggest fresh water lake in Southeast Asia - Tonle Sap Lake. In my 8 days there, I had an amazing time to interact with the friendly locals, I guess this beautiful city will be my go-to hideaway place, it’s so close from Bangkok, I’m sure I’m gonna be back one day. I booked my flight from Trip and as early as now, I have been checking flights going back there. 🛫 Have you been here before? 😉 #timetotravel #cambodia #siemreap #angkorwat #bayontemple #templerun #taprohm

Magnificent hotel
The Night hotel is a traditionally decorated hotel with beautiful wooden features from the floors to the bed, wardrobes and doors.
The rooms are huge and ours (a superior double) also had a table and chairs in it. the bathroom is open plan but with a curtain divider betweeen the bath and the bedroom, the toilet is completely separate.
the staff at this hotel are so welcoming and helpful from the receptionists to cleaners and restaurant staff.
The pool is great and it’s lovely to relax around on a hot day, it’s far enough from pub street and the hustle and bustle of the busy centre to forget you are in a town but it’s close enough to walk to many places. Pub street and the river are a 10 minute walk in a straight line but if you don’t want to walk there is always a tuk tuk within 5 feet of the hotel.

Wonders of the world heritage
🛕 Angkor Wat is the largest and most well-preserved temple in the Angkor complex. As I understand it, it's the largest religious site in the world and also one of the most important. The best times to visit are at sunrise and sunset. The temple is so integral to Cambodian identity that they've even included it on their flag. The temple is magnificent. It is rich with history. Visit the temples of Angkor is, in itself, a great time, full of wonder at the discovery of this place simply splendid. But the visit of Angkor Wat, which is undeniably the most famous temples, known around the world and shown all the postcards of the area, was one of my favorite moments on the Angkor site. I recommend getting a tour guide and visiting at sunrise or sunset.
🚕 Angkor Wat can be reached from Siem Reap by taxi, tuk-tuk or bicycle. Your hotel will be able to assist in finding a reliable taxi, tuk-tuk driver or bicycle rental shop.
🎫 You can get a Tickets from online or you can buy directly at counter. Don’t worry! Tuk Tuk or taxi driver will bring you the ticket counter. One thing! I really like that there is a beautiful picture of myself on the ticket 🎟️ 📸 😉
💵 1 Day Angkor Pass $37 USD, 3 Day Angkor Pass: $62 USD, 7 Day Angkor Pass: $72 USD

✨ Exploring the Ruins of Bayon Temple
#wecreate
The unique Bayon Temple was constructed during King Jayavarman VII's reign. It is the only Buddhist state temple and the last to be built in the Khmer Empire.
Bayon Temple is located in the heart of the ancient city of Angkor Thom, which was the symbolic center of the Khmer empire.
Exploring Bayon Temple can be quite tough on the knees as the tour involves lots of narrow corridors, steep flights of stairs and towers. Depending on your pace, it takes about about 45 minutes to see all of it. It can get a little crowded so the best time to visit is in the early morning.
🚨 Beware of some imposter monks lingering outside the temple complex though. They will lure tourists in to recite a "few lines of prayers for good luck", then require you to pay a minimum of $10.

🌄 Breathtaking Sunset at Phnom Bakheng Temple
#wecreate
📍Location:
Angkor Archaeological Park, Krong Siem Reap 17000, Cambodia.
⭐ Highlights:
You can experience very magical moments throughout the Angkor complex, one of them is watching the sunset from Phnom Bakheng. Phnom Bakheng is a temple mountain in honor of the Hindu god Shiva. It is one of the oldest temples in Angkor Archeological Park.
To watch the sunset, you can take a 20 minute easy hike to the top. It can get crowded at times, so be there before 17:30.
As a bonus, you'll also get to see the Angkor Wat complex from a high elevation distance. Check out my 3rd picture!
😍 Tip: If you buy the Angkor 1-day pass after 17:00 in the afternoon, you can enter the park for free to watch this sunset, then visit the other Angkor temples the next day!
👍 Rating: 8/10. Majestic views of an ancient historical site, but the crowds were just too overwhelming on a weekend.

This is an unmarked restaurant as it was just newly opened. This place deserves a shout out due to the vibe it has, the restaurant is a 3 story restaurant where the 1st floor acts as a normal restaurant, the 2nd floor where I was is more towards a fine dining restaurant serving a mix of Thai, vietnamese and Cambodian fusion and the last floor is a bar with daily live music which starts after 7.30pm daily.

ម្លប់ឫស្សី បារាយណ៍ (Bamboo Roasted Siem Reap) located at Unnamed Road, Krong Krong Siem Reap, 17714, Cambodia is a place that serves real local traditional cambodia food.
I was brought by locals to this place since I wanted to try something local and indeed it was. There were dishes like fried worms, tarantula and many others on the menu. I was that adventurous so instead I tried the local bbq chicken(which was abit tough), the local caught fish with their home made chilli paste which was mixed with red ants and chilli giving you that crunchy feel. Also, had the chance to try the bee eggs which felt abit like a bubble tea pearl just that it's more of a salty sweet taste with abit of bee wax. Oh and lastly, we had a dessert that was shaved coconut shavings with brown sugar, that was amazing!
The place here also is a very family oriented restaurant as you can see the tables here are spread out individually in a hut, ideal for big gatherings.

You ask me which is my favourite, it will be definitely the Ta Phrom Temple as this place has many photogenic spots with tree roots growing through the temple making it looks like a place out in a romantic forest.
Entrance fees to Ta Phrom comes together with the visit to the 2 other temples of ankor wat and bayon which will be explained in another post.
