Beautiful &Peaceful Sant’Angelo Abruzzo 🇮🇹
Città Sant’Angelo is a gorgeous city area located in the mountains but not far from the sea in the province of Abruzzo in Italy. It is gorgeous, quiet, and has many older historical landmarks with poster boards talking about their history in English and Italian. One can even scan the QR codes to be able to translate the words to your language or choice.
The views are unbelievable and is easily one of the most beautiful places I have been in Italy. We had to drive a car up the side to get to the top and found parking but once we started walking around we saw plenty of older coffee shops, and stores with loyal customers that had been here for years.
This is an easy place to recommend and I truly hope more tourists can come and see these medieval towns with long standing history more often!

Fresh Air Winter &Nature Thrills 🇮🇹
Italy has so many beautiful things that one can see. I personally love the nature reserves that happen to be plentiful in the countryside of Abruzzo Italy.
The name of the place we went to together is called “Riserva Naturale Gole del Sagittario”. Even though it happened to be during Winter time and was a bit quiet instead of the usual hikers one may see, we definitely enjoyed the crisp clean mountain air as well as the nature that surrounded us.
If you are a camping enthusiast or happen to like the off the beaten path camping trails then this just might be the destination for you to go to.
Easily reachable and recommended by car. Definitely have some money ready for the toll booths!

The Foggy Winter in Atri Italy 🇮🇹
Atri is a city located in Teramo in Abruzzo province of Italy. It is a city with plenty of history and happens to have a many churches such as other areas in Italy.
This city is mostly a local destination as it doesn’t have too many things to do, however it is uniquely situated on the side of a mountain and happens to have great views.
While we were not able to experience some of those views, we were able to get a unique experience nonetheless as it would seem as if the city is in the clouds with the fog that shrouded the city when we were there.
It was almost mythical in nature and a once in a lifetime experience. The locals were friendly and there were plenty of places to eat as well as places to buy different types of souvenirs wines cheeses and more. This destination is quite off the beaten path of regular tourist destination so hopefully if you’re looking for quite a different experience this definitely would be it.
Would easily recommend and happily would go back.

Summer Beach Time in Teramo, Italy 🇮🇹
Welcome to Teramo in the Abruzzo province of Italy.
Here we have the touristic castle known as the Torre del Cerrano.
In the summer time, many locals will go to the beach near the castle for long days of tanning, beach games, swimming, and socializing. Don’t be fooled however, there is also a coffee bar area as well as a delicious seafood restaurant in case you get hungry.

Summer Wineries in Italy 🇮🇹
If you have time this summer and happen to be in the central part of Italy take a trip to the region of Abruzzo and visit Bosco winery I’m Rocciano!
It’s only a two hour ride away by taxi from Rome or you can take a bus and stop by in a nearby town to ride on in. Ideally you can even rent a car pay the tolls and have a fun all around visit.
At this Winery, you can buy food such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and other little snacks.
There is often music being played in the outdoor area and plenty of dancing along with all different types of wines being served.
Please go inside and be led by a guide explaining the history of making wine and receive a cool tour of the facility.
There are local hotels in the area but if you are a big city person as I am, book a hotel in Pescara to enjoy the city life after you have fun at the winery and just take a one hour ride out to Nocciano by car.
You can often meet people who happen to speak different languages and have different backgrounds despite this location being away from the typical tourist path.
Come and have some fun!!

It always surprises me how Italy can reward you with beautiful landscapes and spots not so far from where you live. Quite often you can visit a place and get back home in the span of a few hours. More than once, and in the course of different seasons, I paid a visit to the Gran Sasso National Park with some friends of mine. Both in cold and hot days the majesty of this area leaves you speechless every single time. Drive across the plain and reach the observatory almost at the top of the mountain. Then visit Rocca Calascio with its fortress for an insane view of the mountain chain.
