Downtown Sydney is iconic in every way
Did you know that Paul Robeson was the first person to perform at Sydney Opera House. In 1960, he climbed the scaffolding and sang Ol' Man River to the construction workers as they ate lunch. 😂😂 The Australians have such a great sense of humor and you will enjoy going to Sydney.
In addition the Sydney Opera House was opened by Queen Elizabeth II on 20th October, 1973. She has since visited four times, most recently in 2006.
Plus did you know Arnold Schwarzenegger (former actor and Governor of California) won his final Mr Olympia body building title in 1980 in the Concert Hall?
you’ll have many other surprises when you visit downtown in Sydney and stop by and see the Sydney opera house.

This is one of the first things you see when you finally arrive in the Yading Scenic Area. The bus ride from the park gates to this point takes about an hour, but this is your reward. It’s absolutely stunning. Don’t spend too much time on the front end tho as you have a long way to hike to get to the Milk Lake!

I had the opportunity to visit Sochi at the beginning of this year. It ended up being one of my favourite trips so far. I was lucky enough to have a local friend that showed me around. I came back home a few kilograms heavier (don’t blame me). The food was incredible, but my favourite by far was borscht and shashlik, shashlik is kebabs cooked over a fire, almost similar to bbq.
Our days consisted out of coffee, good food, tasty desserts and beautiful scenery. I felt truly immersed in the culture after spending nearly two months there. I like these kinds of “slow travels”, that way you can really get the feeling of the country and its people.
I can’t wait to go visit Sochi again, perhaps next time in summer. #russia #sochi

The best time to visit Shanghai is from October to November. This short autumn season boasts comfortable temperatures and lacks the crowds and rain showers of summer – the peak tourism season. Winter travelers can encounter chilly weather, making urban exploration less enjoyable. The rising temps of spring offer a short sweet spot for travel, as long as you avoid the public holidays. Note that Shanghai is a business-centric city, so hotel rates usually drop over the weekends.

“Big Buddha Temple sits on a small rocky island”
know locally as Wat Phra Yai, its golden, 12-metre-tall seated Buddha statue was built in 1972 and remains one of the island’s most popular attractions.
the big Buddha sits in the mara posture, with the left hand’s palm up resting on the lap and the right hand facing down, the fingers hanging over the knee and grazing the ground. it depicts a time during Buddha’s journey to enlightenment where he successfully subdued the temptations and dangers thrust at him by the devil-figure Mara by meditating and remaining calm. the pose is a symbol of steadfastness, purity and enlightenment.

Whichever way you slice it, viewed from whatever odd angle you like... the waters in the Maldives are stunning. The colours are vibrant to a point of absurdity, the beauty a mental massage for a tired over stimulated city brain. It is no wonder this small nation lives off of tourism, and no wonder why this place is esteemed by the world. What a gift, let us be sure to keep our waters clean to preserve it!

“a must visit golden place in Chiang Mai”
I’ve been to Chiang Mai a couple times already but, I never even dare to visit this amazing, majestic and fascinating place - no words can even describe it. People that I encountered both locals and foreigners always told me "you've never been to Chiang Mai, unless you visited Doi Suthep Temple". And I think they're absolutely right. I'm glad that I overcome my laziness and visited this wonder.
It never failed to amaze me and took my breathe away. The gorgeous Chiang Mai city view is superb, the Buddhist temple experienced is beyond, the weather is so perfect, side trips were awesome, it’s very unforgettable. I should've done this the first time I came here.

Kinshasa ! A great city to have great memories.
Kinshasa is the capital city of the Democratic Republic Of Congo ex Zaire. Do you know "The Rumble in the Jungle"? or " Ali Bomayé"? well, that's where it's happened. The greatest fight of the century where Muhammad Ali defeated George Foreman.
Kinsahsa is also a city where you can literally enjoy the food and drinks. It has diverse cuisine and restaurant. The night life in Kinshasa is not to compare to any other city in Africa. From La Rumba to Ndombolo, music is what makes Kinshasa unique from other cities. Most of the restaurants and bars have live music bands that will ensure you are having fun and enjoying the moment.
The best moment to visit kinshasa is from April to December. From April to mid August the temperature is rather cool. And from September to December is the summer time.

Our summer time in Riga, Latvia
Riga is the capital city of Latvia and has one of the best medieval architecture in the world. The entire city has approximately 700.000 people, it's quiet and best for holiday getaway. The old buildings located in old town have unique charme makes you take off your camera and snap them.
Latvians are kind people and very welcoming. You don't have to know their language in order to move around because most of their young people know how to speak English and they are always willing to help if you ask.

Kayangan Lake is one of the clearest lake in Asia. It’s beauty is beyond compare. Halfway before the Lake as you climb through the hill, there is a perfect spot take take a picture overlooking the berth, and a small cave. As you progress going down the lake, you will slowly be mesmerized by it’s pristine clear water. There is a ledge for the tourists to walk around to get a perfect view pf the lake before dipping. When you are inside of the lake, the water is amazing, perfect temperature, and perfect combination of fresh water and seawater. Highly recommended to be added on your tours.

This building just a few blocks from the mtr station is one of the tourists spots for those who like to take a level up photography. For pros, there are a bunch of angles can be taken from here. The building looks simple but once you start the aperture clicking, you will be amazed of how gorgeous the photos you can get. Every angle has different story and it is fun to explore around. So make sure to spend an hour more or less to have that social media worthy photos.

Thessaloniki is easy to fall in love with – it has beauty, chaos, history and culture, a remarkable cuisine and wonderful, vast sea views. This is Greece’s second city, which, like the rest of the country, has suffered the hit of the economic crisis, but the streets remain full of life and vibrancy.
The different neighbourhoods are little worlds unto themselves, and when you climb up to the Byzantine walls and take in the whole of Thessaloniki at sunset, you see what a sprawling, organic city it is. Old and new cohabit wonderfully: the Arch of Galerius, an intricate 4th-century monument, overlooks the busy shopping drag of Egnatia, while Thessaloniki’s most famous sight, the White Tower, anchors a waterfront packed with cocktail bars. The revamped waterfront area breathes life and is great for walking and cycling. By night, the city reverberates with music and nightlife.

Mezapos nowadays is a small fishing village, but it's history isn't as peaceful as now. In past years it was the most important pirate's hideout.
Someone can choose to swim from its three beaches, Chalikia, Kourkou, Kato Mezapos. Each one has something special to offer. Let's see them:
Chalikia consists of two separate beaches, the first and smaller one that you can see from the main village road, and the second larger and hidden one which you can not see her from the road. To find her someone has to walk through the left side of the first one. She is a gem with extras like the permanent shadow from the cliffs above and the picturesque cave at the left side. The left coast of the beach is a must for swimmers, snorkelling and kayaking because of the many caves someone will meet in short distance from the beach.
Kourkou is a lake-like type of a beach / swimming cove with vertical yellow cliffs all around. It surely deserves a visit as this is something you won't find in most places. Cliff divers and kids (that know to swim as the depth goes to 4 meters exactly from the coast) will absolutely love the experience. She has easy accessible cliffs from 1 meter to 10 meters for cliff diving. ENJOY!
Kato Mezapos is the smallest of the three but has two bonuses. She is the most accessible one as the car goes all the way down to the beach, you only have to walk 10 flat meters. The second one is something unique and really precious for the very hot summer days when the sea is also warm. When you swim 30 meters at the right side of the beach you will suddenly experience cold refreshing waters that stream from the rocks. If you follow the direction of the cold flow you will notice a small cave with turquoise waters. Just enter it is the most refreshing feeling.

Benaki Museum in Athens, Greece: Originally the home of Emmanuel Benakis, the Benaki museum was handed over to Greece by his heirs after his death in 1929. Meant to house the collection of the son of Emmanuel Benakis, Antonis, the Benakis Museum was opened up to the public in 1931. The building was constructed in 1867-1868 by Ioannis Peroglou, a wealthy merchant.
The building then transferred into the hands of businessman Panagis Charokopos and then in 1910, it was again sold to Emmanuel Benakis, who made significant changes to make the house more suitable for his family. Finally, architect Anastasios Metaxas made the final alterations that came into effect when the building was converted into a museum in 1931, this included extending its west side.
After Antonis Benakis death in 1974, many more items were added to the museums already extensive collection. Some of its more prominent collections include photographic and historic, Neo-Hellenistic, architecture archives and also a Department of Childhood which includes an interesting collection of toys and games. Also showcased are various pieces of modern and modernistic art by Greek artists. There are also exhibitions of the Cycladic, Minoan and Mycenaean art, as well as items from the Byzantine period.
The modern collection in the museum consists of artifacts more religious in nature, as compared to the earlier collections. This includes wooden paintings, decorative items, textiles, traditional costumes, jewels and much more. The religious artifacts date to the post-Byzantine era and have been retrieved from all over Greece and also Greek communities in other parts of the world.

Dragon Lake Hike! A fascinating hike to the alpine lake of the iconic Epirus Mountain Range!
Enveloped in myth and local tales about strange creatures, alpine lakes are scattered on some mountain ranges in Greece. One of these blue gems decorates the alpine meadows of the Epirus Range, just below the peak of Mt. Tymphi (2.497 m). The stunning alpine lake called by locals dragon lake (drakolimni in Greek), is believed to be a remnant of the Ice Age. According to Greek mythology however, it was home to two dragons who were caught in an endless fight against each other. Legend says that the rocks they threw against each other are the ones scattered around the lake to this day.
This harsh environment of limited nutrients, wide variations in sunlight during the summer and the winter months and acute fluctuations in temperature have turned the Dragon lake of Mt Tymphi into a truly unique ecosystem. Their waters are home to the Alpine Newt, a striking amphibian that has been around for thousands of years. It is approximately 10-12 cm long with an impressive orange-red color in the lower part of its body. And truly resembles a small dragon!
Enjoy a great Dragon Lake Hike setting off from the village of Mikro Papingo. We will hike on mountainous trails and take in the breathtaking views of the mountains until we reach the alpine lake. This is a truly perfect setting for all mountain lovers!
Trekking Hellas offers an array of day or multi day tours in this beloved region.

The Halifax area has a variety of public spaces, ranging from urban gardens, public squares, expansive forested parks, and historic sites. The original grid plan devised when Halifax was founded in 1749 included a central military parade square, the Grand Parade. The square hosts the City Hall at one end, and is a popular site for concerts, political demonstrations, as well as the annual Remembrance Day ceremony at the central cenotaph. Another popular downtown public space is the timber Halifax Boardwalk, which stretches approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) and is integrated with several squares and monuments. Halifax Harbour is a major port used by numerous shipping lines, administered by the Halifax Port Authority. The Royal Canadian Navy and the Canadian Coast Guard have major installations along prominent sections of coastline in both Halifax and Dartmouth. The harbour is also home to a public ferry service connecting downtown Halifax to two locations in Dartmouth. Sheet Harbour is the other major port in the municipality and serves industrial users on the Eastern Shore.
