Mugecuo Lake Scenic Area, Kangding 🇨🇳
What a stunning sight to behold. After an hour drive from Kangding center to its entrance and another 30 minutes bus ride to the top we reached one of Kangding's treasue - The Mugecuo Lake. It sits in an altitude of almost 4000m above sea level so coming here was a bit of a struggle for me especially when we reached the top. Getting There - I suggest to speak to your hostel/hotel to book you a car to the entrace of Mugecuo lake. No worries because, you will be booked for a return journey so you don't have to book another car that will take you back to your hotel. For the round trip cost, you will oay around 159-200. Entrance Fee+Bus ride : 200 per person ‼️TIPS and Warnings 1. DO not come to this place on the same day or the next day upon arrival in Kangding. Acclimitize yourself first in the city then head up. If you're under the weather like me and you don't exercise then the altitude sickness will really strike you. If you're healthy then probably you will be ok. Just listen to your body. 2. Headache, dizziness, fast heartbeat and wanting to puke are signs of altitude sickness 3. Purchase an oxygen bottle Despite my awful altitude sickness, I still appreciate the beauty that Mugecuo Lake possesses. Sevan Monastery ⛪️
Sevan Monastery, for local people also known as Sevanavank is located on a peninsula of Sevan lake! 🌊The construction of the monastery was completed at the 9th century, consisting of two churches very similar to each other. ⛪️ The lake and the monastery are located on 2 hours-drive away distance from the capital city of Armenia, Yerevan! There are always many tourists taking pictures and admiring the panoramic view from the highest point of the peninsula to the huge lake Sevan and surrounding mountains ⛰ This place is really worth to visit! A serene resort on a lake in Da Lat
Edensee Resort A resort on Tuyen Lam lake, about 20 minutes drive from Dalat City. It is beautiful, relaxing and peaceful. They also have different activities you can partake in such as archery and kayaking (for an additional fee of course). The rooms are decent, a bit outdated, but designed in classic European style. What I liked about it was the fireplace because I get really cold easily. We did have an overall okay experience during the 2 nights we spent there. However, for a so-called 5-star hotel and for the price, it wasn’t that great. The staff are also nice and helpful, but the food could use some improvement. It’s best to rent a bike if you’re planning to stay here so you can freely go to the city. #dalat #resort #lakes #vietnam

Mountains, Trees, and endless Waterfalls
This was one of the most beautiful hikes I've been on. You can either choose to hike up or take a sightseeing bus. The Hiking trail was 9,999 steps. An upwards climb with many beautiful waterfalls along the way. It's about a 2hr hike up then you can take a short cut down which is an hour. Once you reach the top there's a nice picnic spot to relax with a view of a lake in front of you. Absolutely stunning! BaiShuiZhai is located in Paitan town in Zeng Cheng district. If your coming from Tian He in Guangzhou it's about a 2 hr drive. Absolutely worth it. I advise starting early in the morning! #mountainhike#mountainview #hiking #waterfall #lakes

Japan has finally open its door to tourists after a long 2 years pause of travelling. Japan is a place filled with historical rich culture and many natural volcanic lakes and hot pools. One of which is the Shikotsu Toya National Park located at Minami Ward at Abuta district where firstly the admission is free. HUWAII IN CHINA???
HALUO SCENIC AREA IN HANGZHOU this place is just right behind the mall area…. it gives complete huwaii vibes and energy, it has surfing boards, boats, all types of boats…. and at a very low charge of 80 yuan only!😩 I went there by didi, or you can use a metro too and just drop at qiianjiang new century city, you can search for this too on your maps and navigate which metro lines to get on. just close by are so many beautiful restaurants, breathe taking restaurants that have all types of food, fast food places like kfc too…. the stuff was so friendly and very accommodating, I’d give this place a 10/10. it looks like a complete beach, with boats, surfing, and all those loving stuff we like to do close to water. Getting There - The place is not of easy access, we hired a driver🚗 and came from Nanning by car, it took around 4 hours but including a stop or around 2 hours in another destination where we had the chance to see the spring goose and rice fields. Attractions - just take a boat ⛵️and enjoy a ride of a little over or one hour around the lake surround by beautiful mountains everywhere. The best part is that seems to not be very well know yet, therefore we were the only ones in the boat, it felt like a private tour only for us ! 😎 Hotels - we did not stay here, but seems there are some hotels in the lake, anyway I would recommend to go and sleep somewhere else, probably the driver can suggest some good option. Food & Restaurants - there are not many options so the best is to bring your own or eat before/after the visit. #summervacation #naturewonders #naturelover #lakes

Libo’s bluish greenish Lakes & waterfalls!
If you ever find yourself going to Guizhou, make sure you check out Libo, a place in the Qiannan area. It is full of so many scenic spots ranging from lakes to mountains to waterfalls, all the natural environments that you can think of. As the locals say, Guizhou you shan you shui, in Chinese: 贵州有山有水，meaning an area rich in natural environments. I had a wonderful time visiting this place and I’m happy to share with you my journey. We took a private car from the provincial capital Guiyang to Libo, about a 2.5 hour drive. Tickets are below 100 RMB because as a student I got a discount. There are buses once inside which can carry you from one place to the other. All you gotta do is be ready to have fun. Annual Trip to Lake Como
We fell in love with this Y-shaped lake of glacial origin since our first trip here years ago. Since then, it has been our annual holiday destination. We would fly in to Bergamo Airport, and then take the Italian regional train northwards to Como. It is a huge lake and you can choose between different towns to set up your base. You can decide on either Bellagio, Varenna or Menaggio. Each has its own allure that will charm and fascinate you differently. Then, the most enjoyable thing would be to just walk along the water, hop on the boat or even jump for a swim in the lake. Exploring the quiet but vibrant Tongli,Suzhou
I went on this really amazing photography trip the other day to the quiet town called Tongli. This is located at the far south side of Suzhou. I’ve only been here a couple times but it still felt brand-new to be in this place. There’s so many things to see so many beautiful sites and interesting food and spices and souvenirs so you can get. And every once in a while you see one of the most beautiful sites of the calm and peaceful canal. Hiking enthusiasts head to colorado where there are countless of beautiful lakes, backdrop of scenic mountains, unlimited hiking trials. There is a place where one have to go is the sprague lake which is popular among locals all year round. The area is popular not only for fishing but hiking and even snowshoeing in the harsh winter As we know rocky mountain national park is chargeable to enter but not sprague lake, this lake is free to enter and there are 2 hiking routes to choose from. You can do a 5.5mile long hike or just the half mile hike around the lake which is virtually flat and easy to walk, possibly even wheel chair friendly due to its packed gravel surface. Location: Lijiang, Yunnan, China Transportation: Taxi from Baisha town (on high season it’s quite expensive) Activities: walking by the lake, petting horses and cows, horse rides Entrance: free It’s a tranquil place where seems the sky meets the lake. The lake is so clear and it’s just amazing to walk by it. You can pet horses and cows by the lake they are very friendly. Make sure to wear something warm and comfortable. The ground is covered with grass and sometimes you cannot avoid running water on the grass. We have seen many insects and little frogs so just be prepared for that and fully enjoy your time by this beautiful lake. #yunnan #lakes #naturalwonders

At the top of line 7 is Meilan Lake and this is a case of the curiosity killed the cat (took my afternoon). So I sat on line 7 almost everyday to get to work and always read Meilan Lake and it intrigued me. So one Saturday we headed off to Meilan Lake. It will take around an hour on the metro to get there and it isn't one of those scenic rides. What you will be greeted by is a lake with European (maybe Dutch) looking buildings around it. On a nice day it could be nice to walk around and take a few pictures. If you wanted to take a picnic that would be a great idea as the food options nearby are quite limited. #lakes #staycation

THE THREE POOLS MIRRORING THE MOON This place is one of the famous place people go to when visiting the West lake. You can take a boat which cost merely for about 40 RMB. While on our way there, we were amazed when the local man said that we can see the picture of this amazing site at the back of 1 yuan. Well, not everyone got cash at these times, luckily there was this cute little girl who took her wallet and showed as the money. We’re all excited and astonished that yes, it is the image on the back of paper money. The beauty of Jiuzhaigou
Jiuzhaigou is amazing! You see landscapes likes this on TV but to actually witness it, was a dream come true! We started our journey with a bus ride to the very top and walked all the way back down visiting all of the spots. This scenic area takes an entire day, with waterfalls and lakes to see. But plan on bringing your own food/ drinks. The park does not have any food available, but there are vending machines filled with drinks. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. This hotel is approximately 5-10 minutes drive to the scenic spot. The service was really good, but if you have allergies like I do, don’t stay here. The room has so much dust, that I had itchy eyes and sinus infection every time I entered the room until I left. #lakes #waterfalls #adventure #jiuzhaigou #naturalwonders #naturalbeauty

Scenic cycling around Rheinstetten
One of the To Do`s when you are visiting the Rheinstetten area, is an easy cycling trip on the flood protection dam and along the beautiful river Rhine.🚵🏕️ Best you start at the village called Au am Rhein towards Neuburgweier and you cycle all the way up towards the city Karlsruhe. The bicycle track is so well developed that during the whole trip to the city you will always feel as if you are finding yourself in the middle of nature, not encountering cars.🌿🌳 In this area there are large wildlife sanctuaries. So if you are lucky you may encounter deers, beavers, foxes, wild birds 🦊🦦🦆🦢🦡🦔🦅. The landscape surrounding you will be mainly forests and wide grasslands, lakes and the river Rhine. 🌾🍃You will find a lot of idyllic and charming places where you can picnic and rest. Bring swimming wear with you, as you may want to dip into the Baggersee of Neuburgweier to refresh 😊. Also one of the great ice-cream places you will find right in the town center at the town hall square of Neuburgweier.🍨🍧 The ice-cream is always freshly made there and tastes good.😋 Also one typical restaurant in the area is the Zollhaus in Au am Rhein where you can enjoy some typical German food and a nice Radler 🍻 while enjoying the picturesque view of the River Rhine, and all the boats passing. 🚢And just on the opposite side of the Rhine River is France. You could just take a ferry ⛴️ with your bicycle there and easily pass over to France.🇫🇷 There are so many different paths to go and to explore. Nanbei Lake 🇨🇳 Zhejiang
A perfect weekend getaway. Nanbei Lake is in Zhejiang, just across the provincial border from Shanghai. The food in the town is delicious and very sweet. There were lots of restaurants and tea houses to visit. Each cluster had its own style and the people in the town were very friendly. When we were there we took the little boat out on the lake and cycled around on the 'chuckle brothers' style tandem. There are lots of hiking trails in the surrounding mountains and new routes were being forged and build in the area. Getting There- from Shanghai we opted to cycle the 130km journey, but a taxi or train and then taxi are options too. This is a spot a little off the beaten track and good opportunity to practice your Chinese #mountainview #lakes
