I arrived early in the morning before the crowds arrived, and the panoramic view overlooking the Parliament Building was absolutely breathtaking. The white towers and fairy-tale architecture make it feel like stepping into a storybook. ⭐ Best visited at sunrise or early morning. 🏛️ Hungarian Parliament Building Probably one of the most beautiful government buildings in the world. It looks impressive during the day, but I honestly think it's even more stunning after sunset when the entire building lights up along the Danube. If you have time, take a river cruise in the evening for the best view. 🌉 Széchenyi Chain Bridge One of Budapest's most iconic landmarks connecting Buda and Pest. I enjoyed walking across it at sunset while watching boats cruise along the river. It's a simple experience, but one I'll always remember. ⛪ St. Stephen's Basilica The largest church in Budapest. Climb to the observation deck if you want one of the best panoramic views over the city. Watching the Parliament, Chain Bridge, and Buda Castle glowing at night from the water was easily the highlight of my trip. Arrived at one of Vienna's must-visit churches just after 6 PM. There was a mass going on inside, and you can enter without a ticket, but you can only stand in the back row. The royal tombs are arranged neatly and orderly, strictly following a hierarchy, with sections layered and displayed in an organized manner, revealing supreme order and solemn law within restraint. In the narrow, quiet corridors, over a hundred royal coffins stand silently, showing a striking contrast of eras. The joint coffin of Empress Maria Theresa and her husband Franz Stephen is entirely Rococo style, intricately carved and richly decorated, epitomizing the dynasty’s peak. Next to it, Emperor Joseph II’s coffin is plain and simple, without any extra adornment, faithfully reflecting his frugal governance philosophy. What shocked me most was a small coffin among a row of coffins; the guide said it belonged to a royal child who died young, standing out starkly among the solemn and grand caskets. Deep inside the crypt, you definitely won’t miss the coffins of Franz Joseph, Empress Elisabeth (Sisi), and their only son Rudolf. In front of Empress Elisabeth’s coffin lie piles of bouquets, photos, and mementos, showing people’s affection for this legendary princess. Looking over the entire imperial crypt, the strict rituals, the ultimate splendor, all power and glory eventually come to an end, returning to silence. Special Reminder: Almost all royal coffins are made of metal, transitioning from early tin to bronze and copper, decorated with various patterns and shapes. There is only one exception: Franz Joseph I (Empress Elisabeth’s husband). His coffin is made of white marble, the only one in the crypt not primarily made of metal. From Vienna, I took a day trip to Hallstatt – a small lakeside town often called one of the most beautiful villages in the world. Hallstatt feels like it's straight out of a fairytale. Quaint wooden houses nestle along the water's edge, framed by majestic mountains in the background. Strolling through the narrow alleys, admiring the centuries-old rooftops and the calm, glassy lake, everything feels so peaceful and poetic. The village isn't very large; a few hours are enough to explore most of it. The real highlight isn't the specific tourist attractions, but rather its unique atmosphere—slow-paced, historic, and incredibly serene. My only slight regret is visiting in winter when the trees were quite bare. I imagine Hallstatt would be even more breathtaking in the spring or autumn. Nevertheless, it's absolutely a place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.

It’s a spectacular museum. Besides the temporary exhibition of Canaletto and Bellotto, which was truly worthwhile, the permanent collection stands among the best museums in the world. It contains iconic works for Spaniards, such as portraits of Juana I and her husband, along with a fascinating collection of Velázquez’s infantas. Particularly impressive are the rooms dedicated to Roman jewelry, featuring hundreds of pieces in perfect condition, unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. Additionally, the café is excellent.
