Today I hosted a couple from the UK. I picked them up from their hotel early this morning, and we embarked on a tech-filled day trip to Shenzhen. We experienced drone delivery, watching coffee slowly float down from the sky; then we rode in a self-driving taxi, feeling the wonder of future transportation; at the Innovation Center, they were fascinated by the lifelike robots and AI devices, exclaiming in amazement as they tried them out; afterwards, we visited the flagship stores of DJI and Huawei, and finally browsed the Huaqiangbei electronics market, picking out many interesting trinkets. Throughout the day, although it was a bit hot, the entire experience was relaxed and enjoyable, and the guests raved about Shenzhen's technological atmosphere. This experience also made me realize that choosing the right topics to chat with foreign tourists can significantly enhance the experience. It's officially fall season in the UK and your sign to head down to this cosy magical pumpkin farm just 1 hour away from London! 🎃 I went last year and Tulleys is so much more than just a pumpkin patch‑ you can toast marshmallows by the fire, enjoy live music in their pumpkin bar, go on their big wheel, experience their famous pumpkin nights events, take the most aesthetic photos, and enjoy magical light trail walks! Starting from Glasgow, I joined a Highland mini-tour to explore some of Scotland's most stunning sights. Our first stop was Glencoe—the towering peaks and rugged landscape instantly captured the "Outlander" vibe. It was absolutely breathtaking! ⚡ Next up was Oban, a charming seaside town nestled between the hills and the coast. Lunch was, of course, fresh seafood while overlooking the harbor—truly a feast for the eyes and the palate. I also visited a historic local church; the architectural details were exquisite, and the small garden outside was the perfect spot for photos 📸. Then we headed to Castle Stalker. This historic medieval tower house, built in 1320, sits on the shores of Loch Laich and looks like something straight out of a fairytale! There were so many incredible photo ops. In the afternoon, we traveled across the vast expanse of Rannoch Moor. Seeing the sunlight hit the open fields really showcased the wild, natural beauty of Scotland. Our final stop was the legendary Loch Lomond, part of Scotland’s first national park, Loch Lomond & The Trossachs. The lake and mountain views were incredibly relaxing! 🌄 Even though it wasn't a perfectly sunny day, the light rain and mist actually added a layer of mystery to the scenery. #backpacking2026 I did this section of the South West Coast Path and it’s still one of those UK trips I remember when I want to plan another walking adventure. 📍 South Devon, England The South West Coast Path runs for around 630 miles along the coast, but you can easily pick a section. We walked from Hope Cove towards Dartmouth, stopping around Salcombe, Hallsands and Strete along the way. 🥾 Hope Cove → Salcombe → Hallsands → Strete → Dartmouth It’s roughly 35 miles / 56 km, and spreading it over 4 days gives you time to actually enjoy the scenery rather than spending the whole day watching your walking app! 😂 🌊 There are cliffs, beaches, little villages, estuaries and plenty of hills. It’s beautiful, but definitely not an effortless seaside stroll. 🎒 One thing I’d recommend if you’re doing it now is using a luggage-transfer service. Luggage Transfers Ltd can collect your main bag from your hotel or B&B and deliver it to your next accommodation. You walk with just a small daypack, which makes a huge difference on a multi-day coastal route. Prices currently start from around £23 per bag per day, with a 20kg allowance. The Coast Path is maintained by local authorities, landowners, rangers and volunteers, who regularly deal with signage, erosion, gates and repairs. 🗓️ Durdle Door , July - 25 Degrees Celcius 🏨 Stay @Bournemouth 🍴Pack Food Hi All, after 10k views and hundreds of comments on my last Durdle Door which was very small i wanted to weight in the details for the Durdle Door only due to lots of questions raised. Thanks for all the interest ❤️✨ ❓How to go to Durdle Door ? 1. The place has a huge car park. You can drive in and daily park is around 15£ and goes up with time. 2. Busses from Bournemouth or any near coast. These hop in busses are really nice and day go over every coast there. It was around 18£ when i checked but many options. ❓Walking there from the car park ? A bit rough road.10-15 mins walk. On the hill. Left and right shores are there for the Durdle Door. The historic door is on the right hand one. While the left hand one is a beautiful, less crowded one seen on pictures. ❓What shoes to wear in the Durdle Door ? Its a bit rocky there but not harsh ones in the beach itself. Sea shoes are always a good to have. But wear shoes for your travel from car park to the shore itself. Its a 10-15 min walk and rocky. ❓What to eat there ? I would suggest packing sandwiches as there aren’t any restaurants nearby. You can find one just at the exit but haven’t tried. There are small caravans selling stuff but they open late times. Have limited options of crackers and sandwiches anf they are still at the car park so you can’t buy anything in the beach. ❓Where to stay ? I stayed at Bournemouth, 30 minutes away from the Durdle Door and travelled there with car. I also loved Bournemouth and The Hotel Best Western Plus the Connaught. You can stay at Swanage or Weymouth or Lyme Regis but i found them to be more expensive when compared. ❓Did you swim ? Yes, i did. It was 19 degrees water temperature. A bit chilly for my liking but clean and amazing one it was. Probably if the UK ever sees above 30 i will go there for the warmer swims. 🇲🇪 My First Time in Montenegro – Honest Review 🌊 Crystal-clear sea – The water is incredibly clear and beautiful. Even better in real life! ⛰️ Amazing mountains – Beautiful mountains surrounding the sea and towns. The views are stunning. 🏡 Beautiful mountain houses – They look amazing, but the roads are VERY steep! 😂 🚗 Driving can be challenging – Mountain roads have sharp turns and some narrow, one-lane roads. The coastal roads can also be tricky, with the sea on one side and deep open drains on the other. 🚘 Car rental – We booked an automatic but received a manual car and had to wait a long time. The staff were friendly, though. 🍝 Food – Lots of Italian-style food. The pasta and pizza were really good! 🏊♀️ The sea can be deep – Many beaches are rocky, not sandy. The rocks can really hurt your bum! 😂 If you’re not a strong swimmer, be careful. 🍦 Ice cream everywhere! Perfect for hot weather. 🚶♀️ Be careful on the roads – Some pedestrians cross without looking, and some drivers change lanes suddenly. 🎢 Alpine Coaster – Very popular with a long queue. There is a fast queue, but you have to pay extra. 🇬🇧 From the UK – I travelled with my Thai passport and UK Share Code. No problems entering Montenegro or returning to the UK. 🏖️ School holidays – The beaches were busy with families and children, but I actually liked the lively atmosphere. ❤️ Overall: Montenegro is absolutely beautiful! The sea, mountains and views are even better in real life than in photos. If you love nature, mountains and the sea, Montenegro is definitely worth visiting! 🇲🇪✨
