Cape Lavender Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Aravina Estate & Cape Lavender
Green green grass, blue blue sky. Sounds like a painting doesn't it? Well, that is how aravina Estate is like. Sravina estate is a family run winery and it is a 180 acre wine growing property in Yallingup, so you can imagine the space and how vast the land it. It is free of charge to enter the winery and your kids would love to roam around the grass area, enjoy the blue sky and look at the grapes growing in the vineyard. Unfortunately, when we were there, the grapes were not out yet. Also, just about another 8 minutes drive, you would find Cape Lavender cafe. The cafe smells of Lavender and puts you in a relax mood. They sell everything Lavender related like essential oil to even food. Try their Lavender scones and Lavender ice cream, it is delicious.

Canal Rocks Rd Travel Recommendations for 2024 (Updated in May)
Rocking at Canal Rocks
The Canal rocks is such a picturesque place. Wind in your face, waves crashing against the rocks, with the sun shinning upon you. It feels like you are in heaven! The Canal rocks provides beautiful seascape views of the Indian Ocean and also showing the coastline of the Canal rocks. To take a nice picture there, you need to climb up those rocks but do be careful as it can get slippery and the higher you climb, the more difficult it is to climb down. Parking is not an issue as there is a huge carpark with ample space. There are also walking tracks if you prefer to take a walk there. It is definitely a pretty place and it is wonderfully scenic.
